Wow, you have a good musical ear! I had to listen to the Orchestrated version of the Steel Samurai song again to compare. It DOES sound quite similar in parts, though it's different enough to get away without breaching any copyright.

It's similar because it's mostly the same type of music that most action-oriented shows in Japan, mostly Super Sentai types (Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, Voltron and the like) use for the big hero entrances and such. Since the Steel Samurai is a parody of those kinds of shows, it makes sense that they'd give it parodying music as well.

As for Go K. K. Rider, it's also a parody/homage to that music, so it sounds similar.

Well, the original track sounds nothing like it, but the remix does remind me vaguely of the steel samurai.

HOLY CRAP YOU'RE READING MY MIND! I may not show it, but I am a seasoned Animal Crossing player and, as soon as I heard the steel samurai theme I though "Why are they playing that one K.K. Slider Song?"
