who do you think is the best assistant for phoneix out of mia,maya,pearl and ema in my opinion i would say maya coz she is cool and funny with sum of stuff she says again pearl is just soo adorable but ema is cute lol

I think either Mia or Ema. Mia gives him advice in court, and Ema helped with the investigation.

I thought Ema was easily the best with her scientific investigation skills. I really wish there could've been more of the scientific investigation end of things.. But of course, since 1-5 was added after PW2 and 3 had been completed, it'd be pretty impossible.. But I did love it.

:maya: Definitely! She has a real sharp mind and gives Phoenix the most crucial pieces of evidence at times. Plus, she is the one who gave him her Magatama. Also, she's real funny!

Pearl...she has a higher mental age than Maya any day. Maya just annoys me a lot.

It's difficult to choose a "best", as each has their own strengths and drawbacks as aides.


Mia is good at guiding Phoenix along, but at times it seems more like she's supressing him.

Maya is helpful when it comes to thinking outside the box, but her greatest asset is summoning another person altogether to take her place.

Pearl is a child, which severely limits her when comes to being mature (though she may be moreso than Maya at times), but she is more spiritually powerful than Maya.

Ema is booksmart and good with forensics, but she's sometimes too scientific for her own good.


My personal favorite would probably be Maya. She's a good mix between being immature and serious, and she doesn't completely insult Nick when he screws up. Plus, she has some good one-liners, too.

I certainly do agree with Orca about his views on each of the assistants.

But, I have to say that my favorite assistant was Ema. She was cheerful but not overly cheerful. Plus, the sciene twist on her character made her feel unique in a smart way compared to most of the characters in the games. I found Maya too clingy and bubbly for my taste. And I feel bad for Pearl being dragged around, not really understanding what was going on around her.

Mia isnt much of a help cuz shes DEAD! And actually, in Case 1-3, she knew a contradiction but she didnt even really help you.

Yeah. I really like Mia...in 1-1. It seems like she's...less motherly. Honestly, the motherness is strangling me. Now, my choice for the best assistant is either Maya or Ema. Leaning towards Ema. After all, she adds that scientific element to the game. Any character who can add a whole new element to a game in one level's pretty awesome, in my book.

Wasn't there a poll for this...?

Anyway, Maya, hands down. To me she's the funniest, though she can be serious at times with a deep character. And although Ema introduced investigation, she was just annoying at most times with the peppiness and always mentioning scientific investigation.

The way that Orca talks about the assistants, you'd think that at some point in the GS games they'd let you choose an assistant on a case-by-case basis. Equip-an-assistant!

I guess Ema because Maya rarely helps you. And why does Maya always jump from happy to angry to clinically depressed? All of the aides from the first 2 games are okay though.
