I've got two ideas for cases. They'd be easy as pie since the case maker doesn't have an evidence presenting option, but I think they're interesting ideas. The first:

Spoiler: Case 2-2
Starts with Mia in the detention center during case 2, mentioning to Phoenix that she defended Dr. Grey when he was charged with drugging Mimi. We're then taken to a flashback of the case. Dr. Grey is found not guilty partly because the case against him is so flimsy, but his reputation is ruined. During the case Mia calls Dr. Grey to the stand, and leads him to say things that help defend himself (I'm gonna like adding this if I do, it'll be fun to have :grey: square off against :payne:)

The second:

The defendant this time is defended by Phoenix, and is either Gumshoe or Lotta Hair - haven't decided yet. If it's Lotta, then Gumshoe will testify for the prosecution, and vice-versa. Haven't decided who the prosecutor is, but it'll probably be Franziska or Edgey. The real culprit is

Spoiler: 2-1
An older and wiser Richard Wellingtion, in an alternate universe where he didn't kill Dustin Prince :will:

Or Gumshoe as the defendant. Why should he get off easy when all the other main characters had to do it?

Hmmm, Gumshoe it is then.

I'll need another detective for the case, though. :jake: seems like the most likely one.

I vote that Angel Starr somehow gets rehired. I don't care much for Marshall.

Hmmm. Problem is, I'd probably have to make a new sprite set for her (since detectives don't sell lunches), and I'm not much of a graphic artist.

Characters I know I'm going to put in:
-Phoenix
-Edgeworth
-Gumshoe
-Lotta
-Wellington

I've got a lot of the evidence figured out in my head, and I have almost all of Lotta's cross-examination planned out.

I've also downloaded the case maker. I'm mainly putting the evidence in, since everything else is gonna take a bit to figure out.

What if you change the whole idea? Have it take place between case 3-1 and SL-9 (Between April 11, 2013 and February 2015 according to the timeline,) and have Mia as the lawyer with Gumshoe as the defendant. The two of them never talked in the actual games, so it wouldn't contradict anything. Phoenix could be in it as Mia's assistant (Something like Maya,) and that group of detectives could be on it, as they would all still be detectives.

Edit: Better yet, have Gant as the detective on the case (He wouldn't be chief yet.)

Yeah, that.

The only problem being that Phoenix had never met Lotta prior to 1-4.

In what regard will Lotta be testifying though? Can you maybe substitute Larry in for her role?

Just so we're absolutely clear on this, I've never played T&T, and I won't until it's released in the U.S.

Yes, Larry could work in Lotta's place. Lotta's purpose in my original plan was to verify that Gumshoe had gone to the crime scene shortly before the murder (and, in typical fashion, get ahead of herself and believe this proves that Gumshoe was the criminal).

I wouldn't mind changing it around a bit and replacing Lotta with Larry and Phoenix with Mia (since I haven't actually put any of that stuff in yet), but the real problem I see is that I would need a new villain because

Spoiler: 2-1
like I said, the villain is supposed to be an older and wiser Richard Wellington. The way I see it, Wellington would become more calculating and composed as he got older, thus carefully planning his murder and being better at inventing an alibi/planting evidence.

On a side note, can the case maker do psyche-locks?

No. The case maker can't even do objections or presenting.

Hmmm, guess that means I can't use that idea, then.

I've made some progress with case maker. I have a little defendant's lobby scene set up, which mostly works the way I had planned. Learning the coding for the courtroom is gonna be a pain, though :sadshoe: Anyway, I've hit 2 problems:

1) The sprites I got from the court records animation page keep flickering. Badly. So bad, it makes most of the character animations look like ass. Any way to fix this?

2) I can't find an mp3 of Jake Marshall's theme anywhere.

I don't know anything about how Case Maker works, but here's the link to the mp3.

Um...If this isn't allowed, someone say so, please. Sorry if it isn't.
