To put is as I think it happened, Itoshiki Sensei didn't want to tell his students he had never left the country. Not that many cameos, but a ton of references. Nat as many references as Hayate the Combat Butler, but close... And then the reference to Hayate the Combat Butler I saw as I was getting ready to reply... Let's see. References I remember: Death Note - Light cameo Gurren Lagann Lucky Star The Double Gurren Lagann-Lucky Star Reference Digi Charat Fullmetal Alchemist Second Life Phoenix Wright As well as several references to actual history. |

I'm sorry if this is a hijack of your thread (maybe I should make a new thread about it, but I don't wanna steal your thunder regarding this find either), but maybe there should be a thread with all the anime-references to Phoenix Wright. I absolutely loved this reference (and the show altogether), and I would really like to see more GS references in anime, they make me smile. We all know the awesome Haruhi scene I assume, and Lucky Star had a subtle reference to it as well (note Tamara's drawings). Anyone else have any?
