Of course his attacks would be over the top, like his OBJECTION attack that would send the opponent in front flying. Or his "Take that" counter attack that throws a beam/flame/other projectile back like a reflector.
My point is, if Phoenix or other characters from the series were in a Super Smash Bros game, what would their attacks be, what "items" would appear, and what "worlds" would they fight in?
sorry if this was made awhile back, but I thought it was too funny to pass up ^_^

LET MEH DREAMThe lot of us do know that it'll never happen, it's just funny stuff. Plus my friend did make Phoenix for Soul Caliber and I was thinking about other fighting games....
Back on topic though...
Would the Judge be an item like a pokeball, and when you summoned him, he'd decimate half the level like Ho Oh/Lugia?

So Phoenix sorta looks like Street Fighter's Ryu right? (hence the japanese name Ryuuichi or something like that...) Why not let him fight like Ryu? Sure they could over exagerate his expressions/reactions to emulate his expressions and what not from the game. Think of it like him getting hit could look like
. Plus instead of shooting fireballs and yelling hadoken, he could yell objection and then the big objection symbol takes up a small chunk in front of Phoenix (think of it working like a shotgun kind of thing. Everything caught in the "blast" of the symbol gets damage, but nothing outside of the symbol does. So Phoenix could be essentially a close range character.) Yelling "take that" could be him slamming his fists down (not on the ground but infront of him, and could have soemthing to do with the way the symbol shows up to cause the damage) and it causes a small ground shock around Phoenix. Edgeworth could have for the most part have an identical move list but with variations of what happens in the attacks (think like Roy and Marth, Roy having fire effects added to his attacks, while Marth seems to pull off his moves alittle bit faster without the added effect of fire). anyone like my idea

I realize that they would work alot better in a game like Marvel vs Capcom. But unfortunately it doesn't seem like we will get another for some time.
And as for the super smash bro.s thing I don't think we will see Phoenix and Edgey in it unless they really wanna beef up the character list like Marvel vs. Capcom did between number 1 and 2. And even then we'll probably see more obscure nintendo characters before they work out a formula for Phoenix and Edgey. The only thing my idea was put there for is to put a feasible attempt at simply putting them in the game.

And then I noticed the post below mine XDI'll go on and critique your idea Impishlol. The invisible wall thing would be cheap, and I can see the mountains of complaints and whatnot about it. The "presenting this evidence" thing doesn't make much sense either, first off, theres no physical way you can shank someone with the shichishito (spelling?) because of all those extra prongs.

I think he'll be an alternate character to ness, meaning ness will still be there, but now we have someone similar to him. Think about stuff like young link and adult link, or roy and marth, same move set, slightly different aspects about the characters (Roy having fire damage as a bonus thing to his attacks, Marth having no special effects but pulls off moves faster, young link having fire arrows and faster attacks, adult link normal arrows, but slightly slower but longer reaching attacks.)

I don't think you'll have to worry. I mean if ness got replaced everyone here in America would be like "oh what the f***???! Who's this piece of crap that replaced ness...."
I don't think they'd get rid of ness simply to put a character that basically plays his role in a game that never came out here in America anyway. Its already bad enough alot of people who use ness don't really know where he's from

well, i can answer that. see, Solid Snake is owned by Konami. If i am correct, Kojima, the creator of Snake owns Konami, or is a big part of it. as for Sonic, he is Sega's Mascot. simple as that. Sega is a big name, and has had a long history with nintendo. lets look at capcom, and phoenix wright...who is capcom's mascot?
Megaman. megaman is capcom's mascot. phoenix wright, is very popular yes, but thats not whats important. whos gonna get in first, the company's mascot, or another character created by them? its like sega putting knuckles in over sonic. it makes no sense. phoenix wright may make an appearance, but thats only if megaman gets in as a character, and phoenix wright would most likely be an assist trophy anyway.

Well, the main thing to remember is that in the game, characters have four special moves, a throw attack, and the final smash.
No Megaman.... pity actually.
But just if Feenie could get into the game would be awsome.
And about the thing about Feenie wanting bloodlust. .......
