well when i heard that apollo justice: ace atroneey said that maya was not in the game.I was wondering what happened to her. in apollo justice she would be 26 and pearl woud be 16 . maybe they changed a lot or there was incdient between maya and nick and they hated each other since.

There's a topic very similar to this in the Prosecutor's Lobby, but...

Spoiler: maybe GS4 spoiler. Events in the game.
There is a brief reference in case two where Phoenix talks about some steel samurai stuff in the room saying they came from a friend (and recently from what I can tell), but she is never mentioned by name. Otherwise, she simply doesn't come up.
