This doesn't strictly have to do with Phoenix/Iris, but... Spoiler: 3-5, 3-4 Why did Iris help Dahlia and Morgan with their murder plot in 3-5 ? I used to think I knew, but my brother keeps on arguing. I think it's because she felt that Dahlia was clever, and she wanted to help her. Also, she owed it to her for not helping Dahlia with the fake kidnapping thingy . However, my brother claims that when Iris explains this to Phoenix in the games, she is really Dahlia pretending to be Iris (when Maya was channeling her). If this is true, why did Iris help Dahlia and Morgan, and why did she agree to help Dahlia with the fake kidnapping? (Yes, I know this is all confusing.)

As for the fake kidnapping thing, Dahlia (while pretending to be Iris) does claim that Iris agreed to help her with that plan, but I wonder how direct a role she was supposed to have honestly or even if she really had one at all. The plan went off without a hitch despite the fact that Iris apparently never showed, which seems more then a little unlikely considering how complicated the plan was. More then that, both of the twins claim that Iris's absence is the "betrayal" that Dahlia goes on about in the game, but the real betrayal is Iris's falling in love with Phoenix (and being willing to protect him instead of Dahlia). Neither of them is going to admit such a thing though. Iris can't bring herself to tell Phoenix who she is for fear of reopening old wounds and Dahlia merely wishes to hurt him by making him believe the woman he loved never returned those feelings. Iris only confirms that she helped Dahlia with the kidnapping after Phoenix asks her about it after Dahlia (who is not a trustworthy character) told him about this point. If Iris had truly let her down like that, why does Dahlia trust her enough to allow her the duty of reclaiming the poisoned pendant (a dangerous piece of evidence against Dahlia if found by the cops)? If you believe that Iris did agree to help Dahlia with the fake kidnapping, the answer for why she did so is that she loved her sister dearly and felt guilty that she (Iris) had grown up loved while Dahlia had not. That's the reason for why Iris protects Dahlia while she's alive as well. So she felt betrayed by her sister both with the fake kidnapping plan, and the pendant retrieving idea(but mostly because Feenie loved Iris and Iris loved Feenie, and Dahlia felt sickened by this joyously enthralling relationship because it's something she never even had with Terry Fawles, so the jealous biotch she really was, she sneaks out of her hiding place and tries to kill poor Feenie, lol, someone stab me before I get carried with this. XD) Well... ._. I always like saying Feenie + Iris. There's a kind of quality to it I like. I dunno. XP

Still, even after the strict surveillance was up, the cops were still looking out for evidence in Diego's poisoning and so Dahlia was absolutely desperate to get back the pendant for that whole period of time by any means necessary to make sure that the authorities never found it. If that evidence landed in the police's hands, then she was finished. Dahlia was more then willing and able to retrieve the evidence on her own, but her way involved killing Phoenix. Iris begged Dahlia for the chance to retrieve the necklace so that their would be no more deaths and Dahlia did concede to her sister's request. If Iris could retrieve the necklace without raising anyone's suspicions then no one had to die.

Until my friend has finished that picture of Feenie brushing Dollie's hair, another song for the befitting couple that we worship in this thread! :D http://66xi.com/html/music/14/65333.htm The song is Chinese and the title means "Water Seepage", by Xiang Xiang. Mostly the lyrics are about the seasons' passing, and I thought that as long as it was a pretty song that made sense, it has to be contributed to Feenie + Iris. Yes, I'm weird. x_x;

The thing I have with Iris and Dahlia is that Iris has become one of my favorite female video game characters while Dahlia rots down on my most hated video game characters. I know i might be going on the Dahlia route here but when i learn't more about her and what she did especially to Phoenix and Iris the more i wanted to hit her with a shovel numerous times (I don't know why a shovel lol) but what Iris did plus her character throughout case 5 of T&T, she is awesome.
