Yes, ngoooh! :wellington-crazy:

And, to mention another breakdown...
Spoiler: 2-1
The smiley you made reminded me of how creeped out I was by Wellington's breakdown. That damn Bach music didn't help either.

For me the scariest part was finding Dr. Grey dead and the possessed Maya. The music really helped.

Day three of Rise From the Ashes was incredibly suspenseful/exciting, just because of one guy- Damon Gant.
Seriously, I love his character, but he's got to be one of the scariest people in the series. The trials usually take place around noon, but the atmosphere in the game felt like night because of him.

As well, GS2-4 was tense because of Maya (or lack thereof). It got even worse in GS3-5, when there was no Maya or Pearl, but the scene of the burning bridge has to be one of my favourites.

These are pretty minor things actually, but since I've already mentioned which parts I found the scariest I wanted to add two things that creeped me out quite a bit in GK2, which I'm watching at the moment.

Spoiler: GK2-3
When we meet Tenkai after he's being questioned; the fact that his hair had turned white combined with that shell-shocked expression on his face, the latter being what got to me the most.

Spoiler: GK2-4
When Kay starts to remember someone walking up to her and her eyes suddenly start moving rapidly and she looks absolutely terrified.

I don't get why I found this very... suspensful or what to call it, because I accidentally spoiled myself quite a long time ago, but when Edgeworth figures out who the mastermind in GK2 is (the part when he recalls some dialogue with said person) I got goosebumps all over. (...which made me even more disappointed that I spoiled myself - I want to know how I'd react if I didn't know beforehand, unless I had figured it out myself, that is. My guess would be a "pausing the youtube-video to stare for a while"-reaction.) And now, as I'm watching it, the goosebumps still come and go the more Miles is delving.

Spoiler: GK2
That moment was awesome. For once, I had no idea who the big bad was, and then that dialogue line came up. I almost dropped my DS. I stared at the screen for a few seconds and all I could think was 'Noooooooooooooooooooo waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay'. Which, in hindsight, is hilarious.

Those full courtroom shots when something unexpected happens and everyone start talking, and you see the witness from behond - Brushel. Fucking Brushel. Brrr. I get disorted-figure-in-creepy-children's-book-vibes and I don't like it. "Player scared shitless", end quote.

The first time when I saw Atmey's breakdown, I kinda got scared the crap out. Especially when later Dahlia's final breakdown at 3-5 and the Sudden Glare at 3-1 creeped me out. :ack:

I dunno why this freaked me out, but when I was replaying 1-4 today, Santa (aka Larry) scared the crap outta me when he suddenly popped up. I really don't know why, but I think it had something to do with his mouth.

And I'm not sure if this had been mentioned before, but in I-3 when Edgeworth and Kay were investigating the kidnapper's hideout, when the Proto Badger popped out of the underground passageway. I remember when I first played that game I literally dropped my DS because it scared me that bad. It still makes me jump.

Spoiler: 1-2
- April May's breakdown and her angered/glaring sprites.
- Redd White framing Phoenix in the murder.

Spoiler: 1-3
- Dee Vasquez's "boys" ambushing Nick and Maya. It's a relief that Gumshoe appeared.

Spoiler: 1-4
- The tasering scene. Manfred's look on his face didn't help matters.
- It's creepy how Yanni Yogi looks like a dumb old man, and then he reveals his real self, looking totally solemn. There was actually a deleted sprite of him suddenly dropping his mask.

Spoiler: 2-1
- Wellington's breakdown, complete with the Bach music.

Spoiler: 2-2

This doesn't need a comment.

Spoiler: 2-4
- De Killer's face. Wonder why does he need all those stitches on his face?
- Matt Engarde's breakdown.

Spoiler: 3-1
- Dahlia's deathly glare. And those burned butterflies... dear God.
- Also, the music which plays in Dahlia's scenes is creepy.

Spoiler: 3-3
- Furio Tigre roaring so loud so the electricity in the court goes off.

Spoiler: 3-4
- Terry Fawles commiting suicide.

Spoiler: 3-5
- The exorcism.

Honestly most of the Fey's story gives me suspense. And parts of the 2-2 made me feel uneasy.

I agree.Actually, playing most final cases for the first time is suspenseful as heck, especially in the original trilogy where you did not know what to expect and the stakes were raised with each game.

Exactly! 1-4 was the case that I found the most "scary" overall, it made me incredibly uneasy, and even more so because I didn't really expect it; it was the first of the games I played after all. 2-4 was more of a nail-biter, 1-4 gave me more chills. 3-5 made me very uneasy as well, in a similar way as 1-4.

So, we're talking about Final Cases... Well, my opinions include: :maya:

1-4: It was a good one, but I kinda got mixed into the suspense due to Von Karma, and later the ambush at the evidence room. Thinking if I could be able to prove Edgeworth's Innocence.

1-5: Lana Skye was kept asking His Honor for the Guilty Verdict, and not to mention, the investigation was quite long. Second, most of the play figures of the case kept getting arrested. Also, after we figured out the true criminal of the case, he keeps on getting the freak out of a trap using tricks. Not to mention, the SL-9 Incident was horrifying.

2-4: Simple. Maya's been Kidnapped, and De Killer threatened Nick that he'll kill her if Engarde's declared Guilty. Later, after we found out
the true face of him, I got totally scared the crap off and overwhelmed in suspense. Especially when Maya demanded Nick to prove Engarde
"Guilty". Thank god that Franziska came at the last moment, or... I dunno what would've happened.

3-5: The Entire Case.

That's it. I'm not telling about GS4 and GK Series Final Cases for now. :thena-hair:

I don't think this is scary per se, but it's very creepy. The part in Turnabout for Tomorrow when Simon tells the court what he really saw the day of Metis' murder - what I find so chilling is the really ominous sound in the background combined with the screen turning black. And what he says isn't exactly pleasant either.

I accidentally scared myself/got scared by Apollo while percieving. I had pressed the "Percieve" button so that the testimony would stop and give me time to look around, but when I did I managed to hit "Confirm" with the stylus, so as I'm concentrating on finding the twitch, all of a sudden Apollo yells out "GOTCHA!". Well, you got me jumping, that's for sure.

On a more serious note
Spoiler: AA6-5

There are a few scary parts I encountered but the first one that comes to mind is when Edgeworth describes Manfred von Karma in the Courtroom Lobby. Honestly, I was shaking when we entered the courtroom, I was that scared. Not to mention the first time meeting Franziska...
