I've noticed something very strange, and I KNOW it's Phoenix Wright's fault. I've noticed that the more time i've been playing Phoenix Wright, I've been copying the characters movements. Like, every time I think, I bite my thumb like Pearl (or Lana Skye...), put my hand over my mouth like young Mia, put my hand under my chin like Phoenix, or fold one arm and resting a finger on my forehand like Godot. Man, Phoenix Wright is taking over my LIFE!!! This is NO coincidence! Have you noticed the same thing with you?

And that was about it.

Oh, I know the feeling.
...I think we all do, really. xD

I constantly catch myself doing almost all of Edgeworth's gestures at random moments in time. Most aren't even on purpose, either.
From pointing like him, to his shrug, his bow, even his facial expressions.
I even occasionally speak in a British accent like him.
...Because I can.

Yes. I've earned the nickname of "Edgey" from my friends because of it. :x

I bite my thumb like Lana, and I do the Maya thing where she... Dang. Can't explain it. *totters off to find sprite* Well, you know her worried sprite? Where she brings her hand up to her face? That one. Oh, and I cross my arms like young Mia. That's about it,

Ugh, for the past few weeks I've been noticing that I keep using the phrase "In any case" way too much. It was bothering me because I couldn't figure out where I picked it up from, until I realized that Edgeworth says it all the time. Not a physical gesture, but I still find it extremely annoying that I pick up speech patterns from fictional characters.

I find myself doing Larry's sleeve dance a lot (From AA, I hope you know what I mean) :larry2:

I also do the Edgey thing where you close your eyes and tap your index finger against your temple a few times, then smirk and open your eyes. :edgy:

I also tilt my head like Ron when I'm confused :yuusaku:

Heh. I've been starting to use that one too. And his shrug. And the slamming one hand on the table. I already did the hurt-looking arm-grab thing sometimes... um. Edgeworth's poses are great.

Let's see... I also do the Ron head tilt sometimes. :yuusaku: And Franziska's finger shake... that's kind of disturbing. Hm. Gumshoe's dejected pose, too. And a lot of the time when I imagine saying something or something being said, it's accompanied, in my imagination, by some action that some Phoenix Wright character does. Or someone will say something, and I'll imagine that coffee is about to zip into their hands or they're going to pull out their whip or something...

I do the Edgey emo-arm-grab and the crossed-arms-finger-tap. I also like to point. And say "TAKE thaahht!" because one of my friends and I are very amused by Edgey's weird British accent thing. Also, I've shaken/nodded my head oddly like Phoenix does before...

Most notably, I picked up Lana's thumb bite. I also sometimes poke my forehead when thinking like Apollo and
Spoiler: GS4 Spoiler
Kristoph's little glasses push thingy when he's on the witness stand

I had a couple character things before Phoenix Wright though. Ron's little head tilt and Phoenix's paper tap thingy come to mind.

I find myself doing the Edgeworth arm-tap whenever I'm impatient or annoyed at the simpletons around me. Thanks to him I also find myself using needlessly formal language ^_^ Oh Edgeworth, the walking thesaurus!

I also do the Phoenix chin-scratch, the Larry thumbs-up, and the desk-slamming 'Objection!'. And 'Hold it!'s and 'Take that!'s. :)

-Do Apollo's finger-meets-forehead thing.
-Slam my hands on desks.
-Edgey's finger-meets-temple thing.
-Puff out my cheeks like Maya.
-Play air guitar similarly to Klavier's method.
-Drink like Morgan sips tea
-I do Pearl's happy-bounce
-Salute like Maggey

And I snap like von Karma when I'm agitated.
I go to dances and dance like the blue badger XD
Sometimes, I stick my arm out like Max. I'm all like, "FABULOUS!" And yes, I do say it.
I never have any cards around me when I'm in the mood to do that though...
Oftentimes I find myself just randomly doing one of Nick's courtroom poses. Randomly.

I'm adopting lots of Edgeworth's gestures... even his facial expressions... I also tend to desk-slam with both hands like Phoenix and shout "hold it!" when something is going wrong...
My mother hates this behaviour, especially, when I do this:

Haha, I guess I do some of that stuff, too!

I do the shrug/shake head movement like a few of the characters and do the shocked Lana or Adrian Pose with the hand... And Probably more that I don't notice. Other than yelling OBJECTION and HOLD IT at people and demanding evidence from them if they don't want to be held in contempt of court. And, uh, sometimes... I do the Ini dance and other really odd moves when I'm watching myself in the mirror. :redd: I'm such a dork.

I've never yelled objection or desk slammed (well, desk slammed once, but it killed my hand) But I thought about it and, after I looked through a couple of spites, noticed a few things I've picked up..

Image
My glasses fall down alot, and I've noticed myself doing this more and more.
Image
I've started holding my Mugs in this fashion.
ImageorImage
I've been doing both of these when I get very confused.
Image
And I've been bowing more.
Image
This pose confused me, I didn't know where I picked it up, then I played through 3-3 again, and it clicked.
Image
I actually do this when I get utterly frustrated, which seems to happen more often.
Image
I usually have a book of some sort with me, and I've noticed Myself carrying them like this.

All in all, if you put those al together, you get a very odd characature of myself. :payne:
