I *cough* BOUGHT some original soundtracks to Phoenix Wright games very recently - Gyakuten Saiban 1/Ace Attorney, Gyakuten Saiban 2/Justice for All and Gyakuten Saiban 3 (+ Bonus Disc). I also got 'Gyakuten Meets Orchestra', the 'greatest hits' of one, two and three played by orchestra.

I ask you today, ladies and gents, to put the discs in order - your favourite first, your least favourite last. Explain why, if you will. If you haven't listened to one of the soundtracks, or if you haven't played the game, just pretend that game doesn't exist, or put it at the bottom of your list.

Gyakuten Meets Orchestra - Well, it's all the best songs from the current series summed up into one, high quality orchestration. What's not to love about it?
Ace Attorney - The first game in the series I played, the first music I loved. It was catchy, and didn't sound too beepy and annoying.
Justice for All - Haven't completed this game yet, but I'm already in love with the music.
GS3 - Ehh... alright, I suppose. Not as good as the others.
GS3 Bonus Disc - Hardly listened to it, so I can't talk.

GS3- Well, I really just love the courtroom themes... I haven't listened the other ones besides two character's theme songs.
Justice For All - It grew on me. It's kinda tied up with GS3 because I haven't listened to the other songs on GS3....

Not an official soundtrack, but I also loved the remix by Magical Trick Society. It's wonderful.

I'll only list the installments:

GS3 : I love the court music, and the intensity in that. It has somekind of "this is the last time" or "final Turnabout" feeling to it. Has the best Investigation ~ cross-examining theme. Also, Godot's theme is awesomeness. Zeni's, Aiga's and Kamen's too.

AA1 : This is where all began, where I got the picture of the music. Best Examination ~ Moderate and Police Cell music.

AA2 : I find the music way too simple and wrong tuned. Though here I find the best Examination ~ Allegro and Reminescence music (True Pain, especially). Eccentric rules too.

I couldn't really rank them, since they all have their own golden songs.

AA1 has its awesome Examination themes and, as previously mentioned, a great Police Cell theme.

AA2 seemed to lack for the most part, but Search ~ In The Midst 2002 and Search ~ Core 2002 (both prominent in the last case) really do kick ass.

GS3 has excellent Examination themes once again (they really grew on me for some reason), and Godot's theme is intensely cool. Then again, having not played the game all the way through, I can't relate to the music fully yet. :[

The bonus disk is pretty cool. I used its sound effects on my cellphone. ¬_¬

What's this bonus disk you speak of? :D

I don't much care for low quality samples used for the music in the GBA games and JFA. The only reason JFA music was so BAD was because they used REALLY LOW QUALITY sound effects for the music. If these were remixed to have the same quality as AA then they would SURPASS AA, in my opinion.

I am ignoring GS3 untill I hear some higher quality music of it (the ochestral version of Fragrence of Dark Coffe is wonderful though - once I deleted the first 30 seconds of it)
