I'd already been introduced to orchestrated video game music with the Super Smash Bros. Melee "Smashing Live" soundtrack, which was great, except that I hadn't played most of Nintendo's series, so much of it was lost to me. But this...is so much cooler than Smashing Live.

I like how AJ takes some of the soundtracks and uses them


The court suites are super awesome. Here I say JFA > AA >. T&T. For some reason, Start of a New Trial and Pursuit ~ Caught doesn't seem to translate as well as they do in the regular soundtrack versions. But I'm still not sure what they consist of. I know "Trial" starts and that "Pursuit" ends, but I'm not sure what's in the middle. The first Ace Attorney Court Suite seems to sound like "Objection" in the middle but I'm not hearing GS3's Objection in the GS3 Court Suite.

Character themes Great Revival Edgeworth and Godot are...okay, I guess. I prefer the jazz soul versions, with Edgeworth's being the best that the jazz soul soundtrack has to offer.

I'd normally like to finalturnabout but that shut down a month ago. Which sucks becuase I was planning on getting the whole GS2 soundtrack sometime (I'e only downloaded pieces and bits of it).

I was pretty disappointed there too.

As for the music, I like the jazz soul one.

Orchestra music isnt for the ace attorney games. It sounds good in Melee or Mario Galaxy (I got the soundtrack)

I personally loved the Orchestra one (For the most part) But for me, the Jazz soul one was hit and miss, Godot's theme of course being a CRITICAL HIT.

But this isn't about the Jazz Soul one, so Generally, I like msot the Orchestra album, quite awesome.

I've only heard a little of the Orchestra versions, but I liked what I heard a lot. But then again, I like most Orchestra music.

My opinions and breakdowns:

Phoenix Wright ~ Objection! : Wonderful compositon and just as pleasing melody. I honestly like this piece for it's feeling of nostalgia for the first game. 7/10

Maya Fey ~ Turnabout Sisters : Can we say LUV IT? I listen to this again and agian and it never gets old. Maybe it's my obsession with anything Fey and Skye? I don't know. 8/10

Miles Edgeworth ~ Great Revival : Same as Phoenix's piece, but this song practically made GS2 more epic than what it's worth. And in the orchestra version, this song recieves ALOT of justice *no pun intended* 8/10

Investigation ~ Labyrinth Suite : Hmmm, Dick Gumshoe, Search ~ Opening and Search ~ Core bunched into one beautiful piece full of light-hearted wonders, mystery, and ends with suspense. Another good one. 8/10

Ace Attorney ~ Court Suite : Full of WIN. Especially the Investigation~ Cornered segment. Need I say more? 8.5/10

The Steel Samurai : Come on, It's the Steel Samurai's theme. What's not to love? Especially the violin solo at the middle. 9/10
