Personally, I think it's Penny Nichols from case 1-3. She doesn't have much of a personality, and she seems like a filler character they created just to fill the part. And it's not like she does anything to help you... >_>

Okay, I'm probably one of the only people who didn't like Mia... But she really grated my nerves in 1-2 and 1-3... She got better by T&T but I don't like her voice either.
LEAST FAVORITE CHARACTER EVER. He was just really obnoxious to me... The long pauses got stupid, and the swimming got old after a while.
I have many yaoi OTPs which overlap... And most of which involve the Gavins.
I do write/support yuri and het from time to time though.

True but with these two, I find them really uninteresting. Especially Klaiver, his personality has been used for characters too many times before and have used for pretty boys waaaaaaay too often. If he was an ugly, cheaply designed character, people wouldn't like him. Can you say "Cliched" Much?

I can see how people can dislike Engarde and brush him off as another steriotype (the brandy snifter just adds to the image...), but personally he's one of the more interesting characters in the series. I mean, reading Sustenance (chapter 3, I think it was?) and another fic that the name escapes me of right now, it makes you wonder what's going on in that crazy mind of his.

The uninteresting characters DO have fan followings though. They may be small, but they're a pretty devoted bunch. Take Sezza with Ben and Trilo for example. XD He's the most 'uninteresting' character most people can think of, but he has fans! The Bellboy, I think he's awesome and he's sexy too. I know a few people who would say the same.
It all depends on individual people's versions of 'interesting'. If they're the typical pretty-boy bishounen in a game (you know, the kind with the huge fanfollowing with all the fangirls going OMG I LUV KLAVIER/EDGEWORTH/MATT/WHOEVER ELSE), I won't like them...unless they're a pretty boy with a twist (a la Wellington) who breaks away from the typical role of a bishounen.
If a character doesn't get enough spotlight, they interest me more than the ones who get all the attention. Take...Richard and Edgeworth for example. With Edgeworth, a lot of his family/life/upbringing information is canonical. We know most of the reasons why he does what he does. But with Richard...we can speculate. For instance, I think Richard may have acted the way he did because he wanted to fit in. He was probably a total n00b of a con-artist going OMG GUISE I CAN DO IT TOO LOOKIT ME :D who annoyed the shit out of the more experienced cons. XD Because the writers don't elaborate enough on them, we get gems like that.
Main characters....usually there's not as much to speculate on. Sure there may be specific things, but not enough for a fanfiction writer or dramatic such as myself to be able to create their past and write the story.

Way too sparkly and bouncy and happy for someone who lost her pet and her dad. I know different people deal with it in different ways, but I can't stand being around people who can experience that and still act like everything's fine right afterward. They tried way too hard to make the player think she's cute and for me, it didn't work. The most disgusting character in the series. That is the worst nose infection I have ever seen (well, the only one, really) and you have to stare at it every time you talk to him and it wiggles and he's gonna accidentally rupture it with his hand and make a bunch of pus leak out... ><

XD this has made me so inexplicably happy, you have no idea.
UM. Anyway. I think we people who like so-called 'uninteresting' characters, like them because we've kind of looked a little deeper than other people. Didn't just pass them off as boring or annoying or whatever but just sort of stopped and went hold up, why did they say this, or why did they do that (even if it's small, little things add up). Paid attention to stuff that other people would just take at face value or not even think about at all. Not to say that people who like main characters don't, but if you don't, it just seems like you're missing out.
I'm probably just blabbering on now. hurr. but anyway yes, supposed "uninteresting" characters rule.

She just didn't seem to have that much of a personality. She wasn't quirky, or funny, or particularly interesting to the player. The only time that she actually made a contribution to the plot was to give you the card to give to Cody, and I personally just found that part of 1-3 irritating and almost pointless. Sometimes I wonder why she was even in the game in the first place.
The Bellboy isn't that interesting, but at least they gave him a few personality traits. (His crush on April, his devotion to the Gatewater Hotel, *AKA: murder manor* ext.) He amused me, at least. Penny got almost nothing, and did nothing for me.
As for Klavier, I personally liked him.

Yeah, Penny was less memorable than
I like quirky, ridiculous characters that make me laugh in a non sequitur way, which is why I think Oldbag (especially 2-4 Oldbag!) is just peachy.

there are 2 things I resent about him
1)That annoying whistle, if he must play it, play it good.
2)When he calls Trucy, Trucy-doll, I find that just annoying in general.
