Says who? If you examine the monitors in his office, he says himself that he's working on several cases. Our ace attorneys get lucky and always gat innocent clients (except for that one time), I'm assuming he wins most of his cases as Phoenix states in 1-2 that most trials end with a "Guilty" verdict. ... Does this mean Payne only has 4 spots on his record? |

The Winston (or more awesomely known, "The Payne"), is possibly my favourite prosecutor, excluding Edgey. I just don't know why...he's meant to be annoying, the usual easy first case boss to pummel with evidence, but he's...awesome. I even voted in one of the polls "What do you want the next Ace Attorney Investigations game to be" (or similar), and I voted not Edgeworth, Franny, Kristoph or Godot; I voted "other". I want an AAI with Payne as the main role. I want to see a game where it shows him working with Gant in the 1980s; Gant brings 'em in, Payne locks 'em up. Think Miami Vice, but with a guy who's too enthusiastic to wear swimming trunks, and a Winston Payne with sunglasses, a pastel suit and a full head of hair. And I don't care if it's not possible for them to have worked together in the past, I demand the Rule of Cool be invoked! Also, I'd like to see some of Payne's backstory being fleshed out. May seem fairly irrelevant, but it'd be nice to know more about his life outside the courtroom. |
