Anyone else ever wonder if there's a connection between Machi and Apollo? There's some strange things about him-like the fact he knew English and kept it a secret, and the fact that he needed a lot of money that he couldn't get through Lamiroir. But also, Lamiroir tells Apollo that Machi was right about him after he did a good job defending the kid. How would Machi know anything about Apollo?

IIRC, Machi does ask that Apollo be his Defence Attorney. But why would he want someone who a) he just met and b) only has two cases under his belt?

Really? I found it easy to spot. Mind you, I know some Japanese.
BTW, Lamiroir has the same thing. The design on her face mask thingie is actually the hiragana 'ra'.
This is probably because Machi and Lamiroir's names start with 'ma' and 'ra' respectively. Strangely though, their names are written in katakana.

In any case, I doubt that Machi and Apollo have ever met in the past before.

We were debating whether or not you can marry a fictional character, and I said, "Machi wouldn't want to marry some random person." She said, "Yes he would" and POINTED TO ME! Of course, I had to be special and say, "How did you find out?! Err...I mean...just shut up." I was still blushing when school let out 1 1/2 hours later! She recorded it as "important history" in her notebook, and mumbled something about "revenge". And since I always tease her about who she likes, she will tease me to no end! I don't know whether to smile or cry.

I actually included Machi in one of my fan fics, and he was all like... talking in broken english in funny ways, then trucy would like, smother him trying to fufil her spin the bottle spin....
