But that still doesn't mean much. Ema could have just been back for a few months or perhaps even a year and not know about it sinse Phoenix seems to be quite secretive about the case 7 years ago. I still say that when they met again the day ended with steamy, passionate sex in a box.

On a somewhat related topic, I've found that I can use "Objection!", "Hold it!", and "Take that!" in place of the equivalent Japanese phrases with the voice recognition (Haven't tried with "Sokoda!"). Is that supposed to happen?
(I don't think this is really a spoiler- after all, these are basic phrases present in every PW game- except for Sokoda, and that's already publicly revealed)

It does recognise part of the words and how it is said. And quite frankly, there is quite a way from 'objection' to 'igiari' and from 'hold it' to 'matta'! Must be coded in that it triggers with those.
At least thhat is how it was in the first game.

Well, I doubt that- it's never worked for me when I just blow on the microphone, or if there's an excessive amount (on a bus/train or in a crowded room) of background noise, which led me to believe that there's some sort of voice recignition engine built in.

The microphone seems to pick up syllables rather than full words. For example, saying "ob-jec-tion" is three syllables, so saying something with three syllables would set off the microphone in the same way.
