I cried when a bunch of things happened.

Spoiler: AJ
  • The end of 4-3 (Lamiror and Machi)
  • There are far too many part in 4-4 to even begin to count. That case was soooo sad. :sadshoe: I loved it. :acro:
P.S. I'm looking for a game script some I can start to count

I've never cried over movies, games, or books, etc. but there were a few sucker punches that got to me

Spoiler:
-at the end, Trucy never got to meet Zak again before it was too late
-when Vera mentioned Phoenix's sadness, and how he took responsibility for the forgery to try and save Zak *sniffle*
-when Wocky teared up at how much his dad cares for him
-When I heard Phoenix yell 'Objection!' in 4-1
-and when I really thought about it, how much this whole thing had affected Phoenix, I bet it really cut him deep, no matter what he says, but in the end, it turned out all ok

:hobohodo: I looked like Niagra Falls pretty much every time Phoenix was there *sniffles* I feel so sad for him and his whole life being ruined... not to mention that, in a way, I felt as if MY life was ruined, since I've seen things through his eyes for the past 3 games.

*nods head viciously* I felt so sad for Phoenix then (more than usual hehe) and Vera just saying, "Your eyes... they look sad" (or something to that effect) I can't get that part out of my mind. I wondered if he had to work hard on his poker face since his eyes would... I dunno, show his real emotion or something. I've had alot of dreams where people are like "your eyes betray you" because Phoenix acts all strong but his eyes are so .....saaaaaaaaaaad *bursts out crying*
I need to go get some tissues *sniff* :larry:

I didn't cry, but I felt sad on some parts.
Spoiler:
Like when Daryan had his breakdown on the stand, and the way he looked afterwards... It was quite pitiful; such a gifted guitar player and detective fell so far.

Spoiler:
In case 4-2, when Wocky's father was trying so hard to go legit and get enough clean money to get Wocky a life saving operation... That was so sweet. I really liked Wocky's character, and was glad he didn't die.

Spoiler:
In case 4-4, with Vera Misham and Lamior(sp?). It was sad that her father died like that. He looked so harmless. And it was sad that Kristoph felt so threatened by a little girl, that he took advantage of her naivety and tried to poison her. And he felt no remorse for it.
And it was sad that Lamior missed out on so much of her and her children's lives. But I'm glad she got her memory back.

But I mostly got creeped out in this game, especially with case 4-4.
Spoiler:
Especially when Phoenix was questioning Kristoph in his cell, and all these black Psyche Locks popped up. His Magatama couldn't even break them. And when Vera called Kristoph the Devil... That was creepy. And when all the paintings had drawings of Apollo's cases under them.

One word of advice: Do not play 4-4 in the dark.

Eh, not a lot of the cases in the games gave me tear jerking moments. But I do feel emotional after some of the cases, 2-2 was really the only case that almost made me cry. 1-5 is the runner up.

Anyway,
Spoiler: 4-2
When I handed Mr. Eldoom the medical charts and he starts going on about how Wocky is going to die, I started to feel emotional and quite uncomfortable. And I was "Gee, Wocky MUST be operated at the end of the game or something!" So that's when the bakery thing came at the end, but judging by the game credits... they're still trying to make money for that operation. I feel like I'm in a huge cliff hanger now.

Spoiler: 4-4
Not much of a tear-jerking experience, but when I had to present the forged page..... I just hesitated and it felt like there were butteries in my stomach. After about 20 seconds of feeling uncomfortable, I presented it. Also the Reminiscence ~ Fall of a Legend or something made me feel quite emotional.

Might I also note that when I feel emotional about a case, I'm known to sit there and just be in deep in thought about it. :yogi:

I was replaying the second case last night and I found myself getting a little misty eyed at the very end when Wocky finds out how much his father cared for him. I think I did the first time as well.

No, I didn't cry. But I did give a huge awwwww at this point:

Spoiler: 4-4
When you have Phoenix inspect his badge while playing through his last trial, at the last part of his monologue he says, "I better not lose it."

I cried at the Reminiscence: A Hurt Fox music. It reminds me of the middle part of The Fire Carves Scars. Which also made me cry ;_;

I don't think I cried at anything in the series, though there were a few moments where it felt like someone punched me in the gut. Through the 4-4 replay of Phoenix's last trial I was going "NOOO why is this HAPPENING", and at the end of 3-5 I was half dead (it was 1:30 in the morning) and just completely drained of emotion. That case wears on you, it's so insane. And 2-4, when Matt's true colors are revealed to you, I seriously felt like someone had just slammed me in the head. I'd been kind of expecting it but that was ridiculous.

4-1 made me want to cry happy tears because of Hobo!Nick. Even though he pretty much turned into the game's equivalent of Edgeworth.

Heh as someone who disliked almost everything in this game (BLASHPHAMEY :zenitora: ) I almost cried seeing what a piece of junk I bought :sadshoe: .. Apart from Kristoph , Trucy and HoboPhoenix and of course the star of the game Valant "Ocelot-adamska-Shalashaska" Gramyare, I felt like the series has ended at T&T.
(This post reflects my opinions, I am aware that there were people who enjoyed the game. :lana: )

Didn't cry during the game but I did find presenting THAT piece of evidence in 4-4 very hard to do (and the music was following was just depressing. :sadshoe: )

Spoiler: 4-4
And Vera collapsing at the witness stand was a big 'Oh shi-' moment for me, despite the fact that you saw it happening in the case introduction thing.

I didn't really cry the first time I beat the game, but I was buried in grief whenever Nick turned up. Then I beat the game second time...I cried a lot.
Spoiler:
His objection at the defence stand with his theme came back.
His sneering (Hehehe or something like that...).
In the flashback last trail, I couldn't help bursting into tear when I saw all the old courtroom scene and heard the old music.
The second time I was forced to present the notepage, it almost killed me. It was like nothing more than I sending Nick into hell with my own hands.
And yeah...Vera's line about Nick's sad eyes.
At the end of the game, Nick said something like he played piano for years which was much longer than his lawyer career.
After playing the game, I cried for Polly because he worked so hard and being deprived of almost everything but still a lot people think he's a dump.

Spoiler: 4-2
For me it was the first time you see Big Wins open his eyes and and tell Apollo about wanting to do the right thing for his son. It's before Wocky appreciates and understands why his father is getting out of the business, and for some reason that really got to me. It was so heartful, and so painful because you know Big Wins knows his son doesn't get it yet because Wocky is nineteen and thinks he's immortal and knows what's best.

I think the ending of that case is touching. I'm glad it ended the way it did; in some ways it's one of the brightest points in the entire game, all things considered.

Didn't make me cry, but for overall sadness,
Spoiler: huge 4-4 spoilers
the entire Troupe Gramarye history is a tragic mess. Magnifi's deceitful pride seemed to rub off on his apprentices to various degrees. There are still a lot of questions that may never get answered in future games. Why hide Thalassa away from the world, even from her own husband and child (you could argue to spare them having a wife and mother in a hospital for ages, but I call b.s. on that one)? And Valant's own unrequited love plus ethical struggle. Just heartbreaking all around.

Oddly enough, anything involving Nick didn't upset me.
Spoiler:
He forged ahead because :javado: an attorney always smiles. :youngmia: I felt like Nick made the best of about yet another horrible, difficult situation in his life and just kept going. Hell, the majority of his sprites are always smiling! That, and I really admire the character for taking seven years to nail Kristoph, that asshole. All with a burning sense of justice and a smile. :hobohodo:

I finished it about one hour ago.

I didn't really cry, but I almost screamed (of joy) when I heard Phoenix objection in 4-1.
And almost anything about Phoenix. When he came up to stand beside Apollo in the defense stand, I could see how much he loved it, and that was quite touching.

I got my share of crying however several times in 4-4.
Spoiler:
- In the very beginning when you see the cards and all the stuff from 4-1. And in the end of that, when they said something like "It's up to you if the defendant is guilty or inocent" *flash* Kristoph.
- When I saw what was behind the paintings.
- In the end "Seven years earlier - Phoenix Wright's final trial.", I actually turned the game off and refused to go on since I had already figured everything out.
- Anything invloving Kristoph, and when I saw how hard it must be for Klavier.

That's all I can come up with right now.
:hobohodo: -This deck of cards is a little frayed around the edges, but then again so am I and I've got fewer suits...

I almost cried in these games, but never really did.

This especially happened in 3-5.

However, I felt a lot of pride when "A Fate Smeared by Gadgets and Tricks" played during the "Phoenix Wright's Final Trial" scene.

The picture of Magnifi Gramarye in the hospital. I was strongly reminded of when my grandad was in hospital... he died.

I didn't cry but some moments made me really emotional ;
Spoiler: 4-1
Seeing Phoenix object again. I was like 'Woah... Haven't seen that in a while.. Go Phoenix!'

Spoiler: 4-3
When you find Lamiroir in the guitar case. And seeing Trucy getting all worried for her. I kinda felt worried. I thought Lamiroir had died, too.

Spoiler: 4-4
I felt really sorry for Phoenix when he get's disbarred. It was the music when he does that really gets me. Also, when you finally uncover Kristoph's crimes.
