I've had the idea floating around for a while for a JRPG style game with AA characters in a fantasy setting. They'd all be able to use spells that somehow relate back to their abilities. All this talk about Chords of Destruction reminded me of this. :D Now if only I knew how to make a game.

Actually, I had a similar idea to this when I was playing a dungeon-crawl game a couple of months ago, and I thought Apollo could be a knight who found out that he had some magician abilities (to fit with canon? who knows).

Why not do it Yu-Gi-Oh style? Apollo finds that after he went to Magnifi Gramarye's grave, his bracelet fell apart. Then, when he puts it all together, he gains increased skills in percieving/Minuku-ing, supersonic Chords of Steel, more MAD SKILLZ and an alter-ego.

When I saw the bracelet, I immediately recognized the eyes in the bracelet. So, I thought: "What the? Is this YGO+PW NOW?"
And yes, Polly's powers are somewhat similar to the Millennium Eye's so its ties the connection well.

After the prologue I made earlier, Old Phoenix (without the beanie), would appear then tell him that to set him free, he needs to find seven Millennium Items, namely:
Millennium Snackoo:(Found by Polly, after formulating the potion that creates a golden snackoo which opens the Millenium Snackoo Bag)
Millennium Gavel:(Owned by the Judge, given to Polly after getting attacked by Kristoph for safekeeping)
Millennium Guitar:(Owned by Klavier, Stolen by Daryan for a smuggled Cocoon inside and returned by Apollo. Given to Polly afterwards)
Millennium Brooch:(Owned by Lamiroir, given to Romein Letousse, thrown into the sea by Daryan, retrieved by Apollo using magic)
Millennium Glasses:(Owned by Kristoph, given to Apollo after pwning Kristoph in court.)
Millennium Puppet:(Owned by Trucy, given to Polly for safekeeping)
Millennium Bracelet: Duh. Owned by Polly.
Apollo has the Millennium Bracelet. Then they quest for the other items, just like YGO. Then Polly duels with Phoenix to determine if Phoenix can leave. Polly wins and Old Phoenix goes buh-bye.

As for the pictures: May fave cosplay pic is the Klavier one, and as for the "dark" Apollo, I love all the rainbow pictures that go with that one.
So, like, while I was writing "dark", I just about capitalized it. XP But, uh, crossovers are fun. A DeathNote/AJ one would be fun--Apollo would be recruited to use his "talent" to figure out the lies, and would end up figuring out Light. Or Artemis Fowl/AJ--Apollo's bracelet is made from Fairy Gold.[/fail] XD I have such a strange mind...
