I've just finished the first AJ case and thought it was brilliant. My word, all the twists and turns in what was supposed to be a "starter case", and the ending with:
Spoiler:
fprged evidence
was good, if intriguing.
Phoenix didnt seem as nice as in AA1-3 but I liked him helping Apollo, and also he seemed a more rounded character than before.
Also when Phoenix
Spoiler:
accused Kristoph I was like "WHAT?!" Kristoph is Apollo's teacher.. isnt he? He's a friend :o
That part was really well done. There were some unanswered questions as well and I cant wait to see what happens.
Although :hobohodo: had a different personality to :phoenix: I still liked having him help you!
Apollo seems to be a clone of :phoenix: so far though, hmmm.

I love the 1st 2 cases of Apollo Justice. It's the last 2 that aren't as good.
Jesus is Lord.

Death Note is awesome.

If 4-1 has
Spoiler:
forged evidence, shouldnt that mean the result doesnt count?

I thought 4-2 started off very badly/pointlessly, but I'm sure there'll be more twists.
But I didnt like the way that
Spoiler:
:hobohodo: dismissed :maya: (presumably). Some years ago, Maya was "the important person in his life", now she's "a kid"?? She's 26 for God's sake, not to mention a Master. That was mean of him (IMO). Or was he just saying that to cover something?

I like Klavier already, SO COOL. Liked his Atchung, baby gag :D

yeah i thought so too. i wasn't exactly too pleased with the whole "no more maya factor"...but meh. perhaps it's just an extremely complicated relationship that takes forever to explain so he could just call her a kid and make things easier? it's a nicer way to think about it...maybe.

Spoiler: 4-1
the best part of that case was seeing hobo nick yell and point objection...it was so epic, it was almost surreal XD

Spoiler:
Would you have prefered him to say "My dead mentor's sister who I befriended after the defending her for killing her sister who also happens to be a spirt medium and is the master of kurain."?

You could get an hilarious reaction out of Apollo though.

I wondered that as well, maybe Phoenix called Maya a kid just to make it easier... as you say thats a nicer way to think about it. Also as you say it would take a while to explain as Apollo/Trucy don't know who Maya is.
The use of Ema as the new Gumshoe made me laugh though :D

Kid in scare quotes is a reasonable way to describe Maya.

I have to say case 4-1 is the best starter case of all the AA games, i loved the fact when phoenix yelled objection it played the old objection theme from PW1.
i knew it was khristoph becasue i read sumthing before hand by accident .
I think Aj is a brillent addition to the ace attorney series. but i will admit even thought case 4-4 is very good it is the weakest finale of all.
but all the cases were great and loved the new gameplay elements, forensics, crime recration etc its a shame you don't get to use them much but hopefully in GS5 they will change that along with more chances to periceve.
overall very very good game apart from the final case its better than JFA imo apart from case 2-4 beats case 4-4
OBJECTION " i objection this is objectionable"

OBJECTION " i object to the witnesses talkitiveness"

I think the exact opposite.
