I don't know if blinq herself minds it too much, but when someone notes you showed a lack of respect you can maybe consider his (her?) words, instead of insulting him/her. Especially when it's about something as small as the grammatical error "dead for me", even more because blinq is German.

Because what blinq said was obviously a joke. You, on the other hand, admitted that you were trying to be an ass, next to telling being funny. You're also being hypocritical. You're just as whiny by commenting on such a small grammatical error, using words like "jumped on my innocent little bit" and "ganging up on me".
My reason for "ganging up on you"? It's simple. I didn't feel the need to say anything at first, since I took it as a joke, and blinq presumably did too. Then, however, you said you tried to be an ass. Being an ass over a small grammatical error made by a foreigner does not seem like something respectful to me.
But even then, I could've backed off and let blinq handle it. But you insulted someone else who was just making a note about something you said. The better option would've been to actually take listen to his advice instead of insulting him. You don't even have to follow or take the advice. This is when I went ahead and stepped in.
Sorry for being off topic, and I sadly cannot contribute much to the topic either. But Lind_L_Tailor has been asking so many questions I thought it was polite to answer them.

And furthermore, we (or at least, I) didn't freak out over a grammatical error. For the fourth time (it's getting old now): I noted you on being an ass, not because you corrected someone. There's nothing wrong with correcting someone.
And therein lies the problem. For the fifth time (Oh God...): I first thought you were actually making a joke. It was until you said that you were trying to be an ass that I took it seriously. And it wasn't even until you took polkadot's advice as an offense that I actually stepped in. But now it seems you retract your first statement that you were trying to be an ass.
I mean, you quoted me 5 times without addressing the "being an ass" part. So I'm starting to think you didn't actually mean that.
