Turnabout Honor

A boy, no older than Pearl in gs2, is accused of murdering someone asks for the services of the Wright & Odoroki law firm, Phoenix and Odoroki go down to the detention center, and talk to him, but just as they're talking to the kid, Phoenix gets a call on his cell phone. Shelley DeKiller's back. At this point, Matt Enagarde had finally used his last appeal and was executed by the state, meaning that since DeKiler didn't get to Matt first, his honor is bruised, and since Phoenix let Matt get convicted, now he's after Nick. He has Minuki, and he will call back with further instructions soon enough but Poenix is to continue working on whatever case he's doing now. He goes back to the case.

After the interview, Phoenix and Odoroki decide that while Phoenix defends the client, Odoroki can try to find Minuki and DeKiller.

Eventually, through a Psyche Lock, Phoenix learns that the boy is Maya's son, and that DeKiller is also hlding Maya so that the boy will spy on Phoenix, DeKiller also ramed the boy for one of his hits so he'd go on trial for murder.

Phoenix gets another call. Once the boy's trial is over, DeKiller will kill the boy, and also Maya and Minuki unless Phoenix gives himself up to DeKiller.

I haven't figured out the end, most likely it would have Phoenix going alone, but Odoroki trails him with Gumshoe and Emma and Odoroki winds up taking a bullet for Phoenix while Gumeshoe shoots DeKiller.

All this information is brought to light in court by Kyouya Garyuu when Phoenix doesn't show up on the last day of the trial, and Maya's son is released.

DeKiller doesn't really have much reason to go after Nick.

He would probably go after the people who executed Matt.

Aren't there men in Kurain Village? Sure it's matriarchal, but certainly ONE of the women has to have a son.

It's entirely possible for one of the woment to have a son, yeah. It's either that or all the women in Kurain get injected with something so they only bear girls. :|
