I've never played the game, but he still is the best character either way ^_^.

He was a tiny bit less cheerful in this one. And the megaphone wasn't as loud. And he had alot more to say in 1-5.

I thought he was better in AJ, perhaps because I never played through PW1 fully twice through. I feel as if he was less shrill and more down to earth, which brought a bit more sympathy to him in my eyes.

I liked him better in 1-5. He said "I'm dying over here" too many times in AJ and he was less spastic (than he was in Rise from the Ashes).

Edit- Though I did find his "In my days... Literally days, as a police officer" comment funny.

I was also disappointed he didn't say one of his "If you had to classify me as having X or not having X...you'd have to put me in the 'not having X' category, sir!" lines. XD

Meekins is indeed an awesome character - I loved him in both 1-5 and 4-4. I think, though, that the 4-4 incarnation won me over a bit more, if only for his "I'm! Dying! Over! Here!"

I think I like him better in 1-5, but mainly because he was still a police officer (I love police characters :P), and he seemed less...hyperactive and crazy. In 1-5 he was more quirky and misunderstood. 4-4 took that and...amplified it. Plus, he appears longer in 1-5, so I guess I just like how he's shown more XD;

Meekins isn't just awesome, he's freakin tough! If you watched the security video in 1-5, you'd see him get cut by the knife Jake swings at him, but he barely even flinched from it and just attacks Jake like crazy! And later when he would slam his fist into his injured and bandged palm over and over, that was shockingly great. XD

Yeah, I love Meekins. One of the best in the series, and one of my top favorites.

Both Meekins act pretty much the same C: Remember the Meekins we see is the one that came in about a month or so after Zak's disappearance. Phoenix's last case was a few months after 3-5. So technically the Meekins from 1-5 and the Meekins from Phoenix's last case shouldn't be too different, expect for the bandaged hand and different job.

He seemed a bit calmer in AJ (although with Meekins it can be a bit hard to tell :P). I found him far more tolerable in AJ then I did in 1-5, but that could just be me.
