Is Klavier german or something because he keeps saying Achtung, Herr Forehead, and Fraulein. I dunno if that's german but it sounds like it to me.

That's true in the real world.

That reminds me: interestingly enough, Franziska von Karma is older than Klavier.

That's right. :franny: Became a Prosecutor at 13, :kyouya: at 17, they probably knew each other.

Do I detect a basis for fanfiction? :keiko:

I'd read it :godot:

And yes.. German all the way. Hard to miss all those "ja"s and "nein"s also lol.

*shudders* So uber law skilled that since January 1st the new BDSG/Data Protection and Privacy is being enforced, and hundreds of lawyers are making a living hunting pirates online (gotta get by somehow, I guess.. it's not easy to start as a lawyer these days in Germany). Telecoms carriers are now obliged to keep full details of internet usage and phone call records for up to 2 years, and give out any requested information to the Public Prosecutor's office. The complaint may be dismissed under certain law aspects but they can still kick your ass.

But it is true.

Though I sometimes find his placement of the phrase "Achtung" a bit strange (Yes, we see you, Klavier. You have our attention.), yes, he is.

It's also implied by Phoenix during the flashback case...

Or something like that.

... you're sure about that? o_O
I am German AND working at a law firm (legal secretary). Sure I can't compare to other lawyers but... uber skillz?!

His "ja"s are also strange. XD
Or do you know someone who ends every second phrase with "yes?".

The Achtung are references to the U2 album, since he usually always follows it with "Baby."

They figured "HAY GAIZ WE'RE ALREADY GIVING HIM A PSEUDOGERMANIC ACCENT WHY NOT GO FOR THE OBVIOUS REFERENCE?"

I always thought of him as having a fake accent. Like an American who uses a fake German accent and German phrases to try and make himself seem cooler.

But his name screams "I AM GERMAN!"

It's kind of funny how in the english Ace Attorney series, most of the prosecutors have been German and/or raised by Germans.

Klavier's from America in the Japanese version, no? Makes sense that - as that's the same place Franny practiced - they come from the same place in the English version.

Germany sounded more interesting of a country I guess, though I would've expected Edgey to have gone to the UK rather then Germany O_o for some reason.

In the Japanese version, all the "germans" were "american", so Franziska, Manfred, the Gavins etc. were American, and Ema had gone to America to study forensics rather then Europe.

I could see how the Gavins could be American, but the von karmas...? o.o;;;
