Ok, after I posted in that thread, I now have this question in my mind: How tall is Apollo?..(with and without the hair) Does anyone know?.. edit: Also, Ema, if anyone knows. |

Good picture  We know that Phoenix is 176cm (unless he grew/shrank in 7 years), so if that picture is accurate, a bit of math could calculate the characters' respective heights. I don't have a lot of time right now, but I might get to it later if no one else does first. |

I always thought Ema was taller than Apollo since she refers him & Trucy as little kids. |

Did you account for the fact that Ema wears low heels? She should be 5'3" or 5'4" without the shoes. |

Well, if you look at the picture, she doesn't seem to be standing quite straight. That might affect her height by an inch or so. But regardless of height, they do both look pretty young (Polly especially, Trucy looks more or less her age), and significantly younger than Ema herself. So the height difference isn't necessarily important. |

Word. I'm barely 23, and am a measly 5'4" (around 162cm, more or less), and due to my awesome baldness and my goatee I look as if I was 30 or something. =p |

I'm around Polly's age (and, oddly enough, Ema's height) and even my friends have trouble remembering if I'm old enough to legally drink yet. Once I was mistaken for a 16 year old. O_o I don't think it has anything to do with how tall I am, just that I happen to look a little younger than my age. Thanks for calculating those heights, Marshmello. I was wondering how short Apollo really is just the other day. |

One should take the shoes into consideration as well. Phoenix is wearing sandals, so it's a pretty decent representation of his height. Ema, on the other hand, is wearing some beastly heels, so she'd be a lot shorter barefoot. |

Thanks a lot for the heights, it makes me sort of feel sad for  cause he's so short, and Apollo can't grow anymore 'cause he's reached that age where you don't grow(physically) anymore. I don't blame Ema for her shortness, she's gone through rough time and stress I heard, stunts growth sometimes, also, maybe hormones weren't so popular back in the Phoenix Era. |

The male body keeps developing and slightly growing until around the 24yr old mark. So Apollo still has a bit of hope, unlike me. =p |

Trucy's height can't be quite right. Girls in Japan are short but even there, 4'8" at the age of 15 is going to be growth disorder territory.  I say this as a 4'11" 17 year old, and I'm the shortest in my class and been the same height for a good 5 years.

Gant, for instance, I think is supposed to be a pretty big, imposing guy, and he's only 6'1". Hell, Mike Meekins is taller. (Only by one inch, though.) And the tallest character in the game (Terry Fawles) is 6'3". I've chalked it up to Japanese people just being shorter, but it still seems kinda funny to me. (None of this is from personal experience, by the way. I think the tallest person in my immediate family is maybe 5'6", and I'm not even 5'1", so 6'1" is plenty imposing, believe me. Not that Gant really needs height to intimidate people, anyway.) |

That sounds about right, actually... not sure if it ever came up in the game, but according to that picture and the backsprites, Trucy's a little above Apollo's shoulders and Machi's at the same point next to Lamiroir, and I think Machi and Trucy are pretty much the same size, aren't they? But Kristoph looks a little shorter in the backsprites than in the official art, so I dunno. |

I remeasured Ema. Ema: ~162cm (166cm with heels, 167cm with bun, 171cm with heels+bun; Heels: 4cm, Bun: 5cm) And just for fun, I measured Apollo's forehead. It's 6.5cm tall (brow to hairline), and 14cm wide (hairline to hairline). It accounts for 4% of his height, and it takes up about 34% of his face. I'm sorry, Apollo  I couldn't help myself.Anything else in the picture you guys want me to measure? |

When I look at his sprites his forehead looks normal, but in the game Klavier always called him 'Herr Forehead', and when he was 'translating' for Lamiroir in court he says something like "Although his forehead is extremely wide" when talking about Polly. The only thing that stuck out to me about him was his ears

Ooh, that reminds me: Polly's height could also be just a genetic fluke. My mum and dad are fairly tall (both around Klavier's height), as are most of my siblings, but my sister and I somehow ended up falling short in comparison (my younger brother, for instance, is a foot taller than me >_> ). So, it might not matter how tall his dad is if his height's the result of recessive genes. |

I superimposed one of Trucy's sprites onto Chazooma's picture, so I was able to calculate the height of Mr Hat. I edited my original post to correct Ema's Imperial measurements, so I added Mr Hat, too.
