Really knew that her father had been dead for several months now? She doesn't falter, Yes...

But Phoenix has said she keeps it inside at the end. And in the middle of court, her reaction may not have been wise.

She may just not have wanted to distract Apollo.

Thoughts?

I agree. She must be shock but still keep the idea in mind that it was a big time, so she just kept whatever she felt in the heart. That's one of the reasons why I like her so much. :minuki:

I kind of assumed that Phoenix had told her after that case (4-1) was finished that Zak was dead (there's no doubt that he knew), so she would have had time to deal with the fact that he was really dead now. I can't imagine why he wouldn't. At least this way Trucy wouldn't be waiting for her father to come back as he promised, but could cry her eyes out and deal with what happened. Hence the reason she doesn't react much in court. She probably already knew.

If she saw the pictures of the victims, I'm sure that she'd know. Yes, she was young when he left, but I'm sure she had some pictures of him or at least remembered what he looked like. Unless she said somewhere that she didn't and I just can't remember.... That's always a possibility.

There is a picture of Zak right on the wall in the office, so I have to imagine she would recognize him from a picture. I'm not certain she would have had access to those pictures though. Besides, if I was in Phoenix's place, I wouldn't have allowed her to see her biological father like like that. Better she remember him as being alive.

I suspect Trucy knew long before Apollo revealed that twist to the court; in fact I imagine Phoenix told her right before his own trial so she would be prepared... and wouldn't flip out while that picture of dead!Zak was being flashed all over the place (I am, of course, making the assumption that photographic evidence like that is blown up to poster size so the entire court can see it).

If you examine the picture during 4-4, Trucy actually tells you/Apollo that she hung it up there so she wouldn't forget what Zak looks like. =(

(If I were in Nick's shoes, I'm not sure I would have let her into the court, or at least see those pictures, during 4-1 either, but she was clearly there at some point, so I wonder how much of the trial she saw.... :/ )

She wasn't standing beside Polly in the 4-1, so she couldn't see the pictures from the audience seats.

I'm sure Phoenix told her, soon after it happened. What would be the point of her not knowing her father died and just expecting him to come one day for her when he never would? It would just hurt her more in the long run. Besides, she looks pretty sad when she gives Apollo the 'evidence' during 4-1. And come on, even Trucy couldn't totally hide it if that 4-4 court session was the first time she knew about it, surely.

Both Trucy and Phoenix only reveal certain sides of themselves to Apollo. As Phoenix says at the end, Trucy hides her pain from everybody and can confide how she really feels only to Phoenix. That made me feel bad for her. I'm glad she feels she can confide in Phoenix though. Also

I'm sure Phoenix also tells Trucy that Apollo's her brother. Why else would she make that poorly-masked comment that he's like her 'long lost little, big brother' at the end? It's not like she expressed anything like this earlier. So I think there's a lot more communication about what's happening going on between Phoenix and Trucy than between Trucy and Apollo and Phoenix and Apollo.

I'm not sure about that one... It seemed more like a moment of dramatic irony. Everyone playing gets to shout "BUT HE REALLY IS!!" at their DS while they remain happily clueless~

Unless Phoenix lied to Lamiroir about having not told them yet. But I don't see why he would tell Trucy and not Apollo - certainly both of them would benefit from the news. I really hope they find out sooner rather than later. :sadshoe:

Apollo: It's horrible! Trucy's been accused of murder! :O

Phoenix: Well you'd better acquit her. She's your sister, after all.

Apollo: ....!?!?!?!?

Actually, I wouldn't put it past the writers to reveal it that way.
