Okay, so I was just thinking right now, about how Phoenix's badge was stolen(in Case 3 of the 2nd Game, Turnabout Big Top, where Money the Monkey steals Phoenix's badge, in case you forgot), and how his badge was taken away from him almost a year later. I kind of wonder if Capcom was planning on making Phoenix lose his badge all along, or maybe I'm just imagining things...what do you guys think? :udgy:

Hmmm...I never really thought about it before, but that certainly sounds like a possibility!

Spoiler: Hmm...could this be considered a spolier? 3-4
Or how about when Furio Tigre posed as Phoenix and lost his first ever trial. Could that be taken the same way? Kind of in a downwards spiral kind of thing? I mean, in a sense, Phoenix lost the trial that cause him to lose his badge. That could mean something, right?

Maybe he will, maybe he won't. Either way it's obvious that Apollo's always going to be the main lawyer for awhile.

Eh, I don't think they planned that far in advance. There's a huge gap between GS2 and GS4. GS4 was pretty much only made because of the increase of interest in the series when the DS versions came out of the three original games.

He'd already lost a trial before. Matt Engarde was pronounced guilty.

I think there was some foreshadowing was in 1-5. Lana said something about Nick giving it up or losing his badge in a few years, give or take.

I think that a foreshadowing in 1-5 would be much more likely than 2-3, the first was much more recent, while the latter's badge stuff was just a plot device.

True, there was a lot of foreshadowing (as far as I can tell, haven't played 1-5 yet but I'm on 1-4) in 1-5 about GS4, i.e. Ema herself, Ema's spycam being on Hobohodo's hat, ... yeah. I'll get back to you once I finish 1-5. XD

Oh yes, 1-5 is full of foreshadowing, and it's most likely intentional.

Gant says that prosecutors aren't the only ones who forge evidence, defense attorneys can too. Lana says that defense attorneys make up the most foul lies to protect their clients. There's a lot of these little gems in there...

Like everyone says, 1-5 would be the closest to foreshadowing. I actually sort of wish that 1-5 came after 3-5 in the canon storyline, hence making it closer to these cases and making sense out of a few things...

True, but you must remember that the second game came before that 5-1 case(I think so), which was a DS exclusive...in addition to the dream sequence, etc... :hotti:
