Er, sorry… it’s just…
Anyway… I can’t say anything good because… these are anything but.
First: let’s take a look at the most obvious mistake; Coloring. The blue is just too bright. Search for a different blue and shade. It hurts the eyes when you look at it. Also, you didn’t even bother to get rid of the purple shading off of Klavier’s jacket, which show’s laziness. Find more darker shades of blue and apply them with the color erase technique with “paint”. (I’m not explaining it again, look through the threads and find out how to do it on your own.) And you HAVE to fix the shading in the Godot hair. It looks like she put a wig on her head that was colored poorly.
Second: All these sprites are very inconsistent with one another. She has gloves in one sprite and none in the other. Also, in the one Sprite where she is pointing up, the hand is backwards. HOW DOES THAT WORK!? Did you even consider that the thumb was on the wrong side of the hand!? It’s the same with the Sprite in the middle in the second row. This is sloppy work. Really sloppy.
Now for your Mix matches…
First one: It’s alright. But you can see part of Desiree’s Earring on her clothes.
Second: The skin color on her face doesn’t match her body. Also, part of her neck is missing.
Third… NECK!!! It looks like you just took Brushel’s head and neck and put it in Phoenix’s Resized body! And phoenix’s neck is still there too!!
Fourth. Wow… She looks so perky with her arms up like that and mismatched purple/pink shirt. *groan*
Last one: The neck looks TOO long when you add the scarf in. And the black lines on the clothes look bad. In other words, just another poorly put together sprite.
The Magicians… I’m not even gonna bother, what with the bad editing and coloring. But I will say, seeing a girl's face on a man's body is quite disturbing. Veeeeeery disturbing.
Sorry, kid. There’s just nothing good to say about these sprites. You have to learn to edit and color. there are lot’s of tutorials here in the forums, so look around and practice, practice, practice. You’ll need ALOT of it.

SilentBobX makes some good points, the colouring is way too bright.
Artemis hasn't been edited very well(blunt, but true), you can still see mia's breasts underneath the jacket, which must be unintentional, but i would expect an editor to notice and change that. I had to question whether it was a guy or not.

Afford? You should know, the GIMP is a free advanced graphic editor that can do pretty much anything Photoshop can do. You should Google it.

Microsoft Paint happens to be the most helpful program when it comes to making sprites. I've made ALL my sprites with paint and am very satisfied with it. It doesn't matter what program you use, as long you have the talent. I think my opinion of you has changed quite dramatically. And not for the better…

its not the program its the user and his/her experience using the program that can effect how the result will be...of course I'm not saying there aren't other effective tools because preference to tools differs from person to person :P

As for your sprites, I'm not gonna lie, they need work. Mostly coloring with duller colors (I would use colors from existing characters themselves) and blending your copy-pastes. Clean, simple edits would be good to start with. And when you're done with your work, look at it. If it looks off or the quality is poor, you know something is wrong.

Aside from that, putting a female head on a male body just looks very, very strange. o_O I mean, maybe if you made said male's body more fem appearing, but you just left Valant as is...

I do normally. But this is my old thread from my first noob sprites that i didn't clan at all. (I was lazy.) I never find any colours that i like :P. God knows where i got the blue from i think it was a Pokemon Character.

IT IS Marley just edited atlot. I had to recolour her 7 times. It was harder than i thought to turn a Pokemon Charcter into a GS Sprite but since her offical art was a basic foward one it was easy to edit. I was working a Leaf but i keep mucking up the hair.

Ok there quite badly cleaned but blame Magic Wand tool. It's hard to peel them of a background -,-
Chirstmas Godot used in CP's Avii
Gavincest one from my current/before sig. This took me a while since Phoenix Arm had stupid skin colouring -,-
And My Fave the Maya/Nick chirstmas one from Electros Sig
