Personally, I'm in a few fandoms where femmy boys are the norm, but, since PW/GS didn't really have any femmy boys, I didn't expect Ronny to be a man... even then, I thought his name was short for 'Veronica' or something.

He is unbelievably feminine. I'd seen him online before, without a name and out of context (actually, it was probably the smilies of him here on C-R). So when I first saw him in the game, I thought, oh yeah, I've seen a picture of that girl before. And then, gradually, it was like... wait.........
It was weird to me that no one in the game drew attention to his femininity. I think Ron is much more girly than Armstrong.
is just...flamboyant. But that facial hair and that body is clearly male. And yet the Judge asks HIM, "Are you a woman!?"That's more what I had been expecting for Ron -- some joke to the effect of:

Jean Armstrong, however, is more than a mere transvestite. He is a flat-out pre-operative transsexual. His body is clearly male, yet besides cross-dressing, he self-identifies as a woman. The game doesn't veil this in innuendo or jokes- it's just right out there. This probably makes Phoenix Wright the only Nintendo game in America to include, let alone blatantly, a transsexual main character, and possibly the only game AT ALL to do this since The Rocky Horror Game for Atari (although Frank-N-Furter is just a transvestite, not a transsexual).

While I was playing T&T's and I saw him the first time, my first thought was: "Odd. Princess Leia in a Phoenix Wright game?" Then I looked at the profiles and there was standing: Ron DeLite. Ah okay, I thought, good, I'll playing here and now.
Then my sister came in (she's another obsessed PW-fan..), looked at the display and want to said: "Cann.."
