"One moment please." Ptapcc said as he turned around and pressed a small button on it. Instantly, a holographic screen appeared from it and writing appeared. His eyes widened as he passed through the information. A few moments later, he put the phone back in his coat and turned around.
"It seems that there has been an emergency and I have been summoned to the Captain's room." Dr Tap said as muttering went throughout the room.
"Do you need to leave Doctor? You may if it is urgent." the Chairman said from his chair. Dr. Ptapcc shook his head and stroked his white beard.
"Unfortunately, I will have to ignore the summons for the time being. I must tell you of this crisis!" Tap exclaimed.
((I haven't actually been told of that telecast on the screen, so Dr. Tap is unaware that there is a villain demanding orders. More to come soon after the Chief arrives. Oh and anyone can feel free to RP the Vice Executive, General and Minister of Defense.))

The Captain's message reached Wolf. He touched his scanner, noticing a broadcasted message.
Message Received; Read?
Thinking that the creep was the sender of the message, he selected 'no'. He thought for a moment. "Actually... let's skip this virtual meet. Let's find out what kinda' freak you really are." He clicked a few more times upon his headset, which began to backtrack the message.
Location: (158.92/24.67) Approximately: 2 1/2 Miles
"Ah, so you were close. Can't wait..." He began to run, once again through town, till he hit the pin-pointed location. He looked around, seeing nothing but the edge of the city. "Maybe it's one a' those 'secret hide-outs. Great... a treasure-hunt." Choosing a random near-by building, he walked through what looked to be a modest business building till he stepped in, seeing nothing but the skeleton of what a business once-was. He spotted a small door, and 'Curiosity Law' naturally followed; he opened the door, seeing the ever cliche'd set of stairs. He began to run down them, taking every 3rd step until he stepped through what looked like an HQ. He began to look around at the monitors. "Trippy..." He began to look more eye-leveled until he saw someone sitting in a chair a couple yards away. He called to the figure, (the Captain) "Hey! You in the chair! Are you the one that sent that 'world-domination' message that was pasted to every screen in town?"
((Seeing as the HQ/Base wasn't described, I made a general one up. Feel free to change any details in following posts, and I'll change mine accordingly.))

Meenyman was interrupted by a message being sent onto his phone, so Meenyman grabbed the phone out of his pocket and read the message.
"Hmmm, it tells me I gotta be going somewhere, and the sender says this is very important. I think I should ignore it for now, I promised you guys I would help, so.............Wait a minute....."
Meenyman continued reading the message, not believing the contents of it.
"It can't be.....It says I gotta go to the Captain's place, and it's about........the earthquake and the smoke...."

I won't tell him about the telecast until he's finished. I can't rule out someone who has both the intellect and probably the means to have done this as a suspect yet.

"Of course." Dr. Tap said as he stroked his beard with his spare hand. He walked straight and placed the piece of data he got from the Seismograph V2.
"I'm sure the Board is aware that there was a random earthquake only less than half an hour ago?" Dr. Tap asked. A few nods went around the room. He nodded.
"It is part of my job as the Board's First Scientist to submit data of any earthquakes or similar natural occurrences, is it not? Anyway, I went and collected the V2, only to be shocked. The data showed that the earthquake was an anomaly!" he declared dramatically.

Overhearing that Dr.Ptapcc had recieved a message from the Captain, he decided to see how Ptapcc was going to explain the earthquake, while his aircraft analyzed the data itself. Shadow already knew enough to make a good guess, but to explain his presence...
"I'm gathering infomation about planetary disturbances, especially since that madman made his threat. Continue, doctor."

"What you are seeing right now is the data that the Seismograph V2 printed out after that random earthquake only less than half an hour ago." Tap said as he stroked his beard. "This red section represents the anomaly itself and the blue represents a normal earthquake. I'm sure you can all see the problem." he said.
"Why, the difference is astronomical!" the Chairman cried as he stood up from his chair. Muttering went throughout the room ((excluding Panda and Shadow who just walked in)). Dr Ptapcc coughed to gain everyone's attention. Nodding at what Shadow said, only registering his name, he faced Panda then spoke.
"Scientifically, it is possible to determine what caused this anomaly. Using this data, and what I know, I have theorized that the large scale eruption was only possible if a missile impacted or a large-scale bomb went off nearby." he said, turning his head away from Panda.

While the person or persons behind the incident probably knows of the team's existence, none of the general public is to know about this. One of our main priorities is to prevent panic. Now, if you'll excuse me?"
She stood up, retrieving her possessions and walked towards the door.
"Coming, Dr. Tap? Oh, and Mr. Edgeworth? That is an excellent false ID." she said, opening the door and beginning her journey to the Captain.

Oh yes, and I recieved a message from the captain too, so don't try leaving me out of this. Now, more likely than not, the Earthquake must be a demonstration of what the supervirus can do. More powerful than a normal earthquake as Ptapcc scanned, meaning it must have destroyed some weaker structures, causing chaos in places. Just a taster of what is to come don't you think, Chief?" Shadow continued, arms folded, index finger tapping.

There was no need for her to be so defensive she knew, but Panda had had to work pretty damn hard to become Lawville's first female police chief and the last thing she wanted to have to deal with was someone else who didn't think she was up to the task.
She forced a smile onto her face and tried to calm down. "I apologise for getting worked up. But if we're going to be working together, I'd rather not have you doubt my judgement."

Some minutes later, the elevator's door opened, and a man came out. "You must be the one who called me", the man told Wanacoba. DeMat then realized this was the Detective Meenyman with whom Wanacoba was talking on the phone. "Hey, nice to meet you." DeMat said when Wanacoba introduced him to the detective.
"Something tells me this is not just an earthquake," he said, when Meenyman told them he would investigate it, "but I'm going with ya." Suddenly, the detective's cellphone beeped. Strangely, Wanacoba and DeMat's cellphones did too. After some seconds, DeMat reacted, and pulled out his cellphone.
1 new e-mail from PRIVATE. Read?
He pressed the upper left key of his cellphone, which commanded the phone to open the message, and the screen displayed it. It was telling him that he had been recruited by the "Captain" to fight due to "recent events". Shocked, he turned to Wanacoba.
"Did you... did you get the same message?" DeMat asked. Then, he turned to Detective Meenyman. "Detective, you too!?"

..A RP Eh? And it piques my interest! Being a hero is so ten Nanoseconds ago So...Oh, There seems to be a lot of bosses... And El Creator hasn't been on for a few days, not to odd but my Bad things sense is tingling....
I wish to be an Evil minion! I guess my job would be to help the big bad Boss and his plan for world domination. Probably be sent to the bosses lair's though to help them protect their bases from those dumb annoying heroes. Probably be beaten in a heart beat but who knows...Maybe thanks to my deal with the Dark Sprite Lord Ceres I could become stronger with each fight....

After reading the message, Meenyman noticed DeMatador looking at his cell phone.
He turned to DeMatador.
"You got the message as well? Well, what a coincidence.... Funny how you, Wanacoba and me get them, it tells us that we should be going to the Heroes HQ, should we go there instead of the investigation? After all, it seems relevant to it. I hope the Chief doesn't get mad at me for leaving this investigation aside for now."

Wanacoba saw as De Mat and Meenyman got the same message and thought "Well, at least I'm out of this other mess" But then his cellphone sounded so he took it out of his pocket and saw, you've got a message, he started reading and compared it to the ones Meenyman and De Mat got.
"oh... Damn, this is not something that happensa everyday... Should we go where the message indicates?" He didn't know if this really had to do with the big cloud of smoke and the earthquake or if it just was a big bad joke.

On a far off stage just beyond the edge of existance, a spotlight shown on a single desk. A yellow hooded figure sat at the chair as he watched events unfold. He waved his hand over the desk and a single card appeared next to a small book titled the King in Yellow. On the card was a simple roman numeral I.
