Not a problem, DeMatador! Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it!

As a side note, my MSN has been hacked by a spammer and is unsafe at the moment to use. (That plus, I'm not a fan of MSN Messenger) If there's anything you need, I can be reached on CR through Hotmail (thomas081891@hotmail.com)

Thanks again!

I changed my password to try and keep the spammer out, but the damage has been done. Sorry about that;)

Oh hell, now even MSN's been attacked by hackers! Well, I thought someone spamming over my mother's Yahoo Mail was bad.

Hey Paper, just stealing my neighbor's connection for a minute to let you know that my Interent connection has been coming and going for around a week now, and I still don't know when it'll be back for good. But I'm still working on the script, and it's coming along nicely. If I get on it REALLY fast, I could finish it by this following week. But I'm not promising anything since school starts this monday. Just wish me luck!

Yes, best of luck to you DeMatador, and thanks for the update!

I'm currently at a local aid system that indirectly helps with Haiti. I'll be here until about Tuesday, so the mid March goal may be a little too quick. Good thing I didn't edit the thread name to that, huh?

Still expect the demo in March. I will do my absolute best to get it out by then.

And one last thing; I hate to ask this DeMatador, but would you be the beta tester that makes sure that all functions of the demo run correctly? This would mean going through all the possibilities in the game and making sure they work, and like I said, I hate to ask this of you, but I would be no good at fixing every little portion of the script in that fashion, and in that time limit. (It'd probably take me like 2 weeks.)

I've noticed that the gyakutenwiki page hasn't been updated in a while but on second thought I think I understand as with this new team project, you can't actually track progress so it would make sense that it hasn't been updated

Oh shut up please, it's on because no one's giving feedback and it's kinda annoying, :grey: so I thought I'd spread the word a bit on the threads I post on. I think thats a good enough point. Right or wrong?

Reading the synopsis makes it more exciting about what's in store for us in the demo. Can't wait!

By the way, I know the planned release date is this month, March. But I would like to ask if you have a definite timeframe for the release, like what week? Maybe what date?

Since the demo's release was so confusing in itself, I cannot even give a timeframe for the release, sorry.

I just don't want to make any promises and then have to break them later; which may very well happen, thanks to my schedule.

Well, I'm willing to use my entire time for RotP from now on. All my time after school will go to coding the rest of my part. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to stop this week, since I'll have to go to my grandparents' house, and can't take my laptop. I could send some files via e-mail, though. I'll try not to stop.

If I go full speed now, and don't stop during the weekend, I might finish by the middle of next week. I'm really hoping we can have this released in March!
BTW, could AttorneyAtLawl finish his part? 'Cos if I know that my part is the last part to be finished, I kinda get motivated XP

Huh. All between safe borders, why exactly was he banned?

On the update side of news, I've been stuck for a while with a problem with Lana's animations (which I even re-did, sheets and code, from scratch, and still don't work), but I'll just use a placeholder character and keep moving on. The rest is going out smoothly: The entire Investigation phase is finished, and I just started with court.
Also, I had to absolutely re-do Gumshoe. His timing, position and even sheets were messed up. Just a note.

Thanks yet again for your help, DeMatador, I would absolutely love to have this demo out by March.

paper and DeMat- Apparently he posted spoilers for AAI outside of the Prosecutor's Lobby which is forbidden because apparently, spoilers can only be posted in labeled threads in the Fanworks section or the Prosecutor's Lobby.

DeMat- I thought Lana's animations worked after you fixed that small problem you told me on MSN. :S

I don't believe there is a mac port however you can always try to run PWlib on Wine which should work. I'm not too sure since I unfortunately don't own a Mac.

Since reading through over 30 pages of posts is something one would do only when they have no time, let me ask this:

How long do you guys think the game will be? Not 'how long till the game is released', I mean, 'how long do you think the play time will be?'

To Tap, thanks for the information.

To OniXera, I never actually posted the estimated run time, so I'm personally glad you didn't read through all the pages on this thread. If I had to make a good guess, if you go through the game flawlessly (which I doubt anyone would do), would take you somewhere between 40-60 hours.

The demo itself will probably run about an hour or so with flawless play.

My oh me, I can see why it's taken such a long time to even get close to releasing a demo! 40-60+ hours sounds tasty, but I bet it won't be till 2011 till that happens, will it? xD

Take all the time you want to, as to make it the best it can be!

Well, it's that plus the fact that I ran into time problems along the way. XD

Anyways, the first case will be relatively short, like all PW games, but the other cases will be significantly longer. The final case plans to be 3 times as long as Rise of the Ashes. Yes. 3 times as long. :beef:

Thanks for the encouragement:)

3 times as long you say? Turnabout Memoirs plans to be four times as long but that's going to be a pain to code :karma:

Turnabout Remnants is a brilliant idea btw paper. There is a lot that can be changed and twisted because of the villain's (:garyuu:) mind.

I'm more excited about Turnabout Tempest for some odd reason :S

@Tap: 4 times, you say? That will be a pain to code...However, the end result sounds super awesome. I look forward to playing that case. Also, Turnabout Remnants is going to basically be 3 different cases that are all connected, which is why it'll be 3 times as long. And also know that Kristoph was easily portrayed as the main villain of ROTP, the cases may surprise you...

@jptorres26: I completely agree. Heck, that's why I'm excited to code that case:O

Haha...Turnabout Remnants sounds exactly the same as Memoirs in terms of how it is 3 different cases which are all connected :karma:

I've got it! Morgan Fey will be Kristoph's accomplice, won't she? It makes sense...;)

And I think I like Turnabout Tempest the best because not only does it have a very interesting plot for that case, I've seen the sprite designed by Kirashii and wow...it is simply amazing. A good plot and graphics are what forms a base to attracting people you know

@jptorres26: I completely agree. Heck, that's why I'm excited to code that case:O

Whenever you guys speak of coding the game, I really regret that I didn't study using PWLib so I can join the program team.
