Anyway, I think Apollo is cool.
He's younger, more relative to people, and no one has any surefire pairings for him on Fanfiction. Plus, he has the most AU stories in history.

I was neutral/not overly fussed by Lamiroir, Wocky and Alita. Valant and Spark got mildly irritating, but I didn't actively dislike anyone; I was just more interested in/full of love for other characters.
LOVED, however? Kristoph. Adore the man. He's so bloody controlled and smooth and gorgeous (the suit and the glasses help, too!) and sly and seriously madly intelligent-- what's not to love?
Also loved Trucy, who's so far been my favourite of all the assistants. She's bright, funny, eccentric and completely adorable.
I also really like Little Plum, who has got to be the coolest mother EVER in media. You can all keep your Marge Simpsons and Mrs. Bradys and June Cleavers; I love Little Plum. Also, I found Stickler utterly hilarious and disturbing at the same time. And Ema? Was just cool.

Who did I dislike? I hated Daryan. He was so cocky that it got me so angry. I used to swear at my DS because I hated him so much. I didn't particularly like hobo Phoenix either. I mean I liked Phoenix in the older games but his personality just didn't fit him here.

On the other hand, Kristoph is my favourite AJ character, which is weird, 'cause I didn't really like the game overall. I just think that Kristoph is an amazing and complex character, and that the developers did an awesome job creating him.

stupid idiot trying to hit on anything that moves or doesn't move.
klema only exists cause it's the only pairing the fangirls could find for ema, since their attempts 2 years ago failed miserably.
But still, there exists an Apollo x Ema fanbase, and though it is smaller than klema, the writers of them are pretty smart, like EvilWaffleS on Fanfiction

,and i must admit that although i preffer blue suit wright,hobo wright was an interesting charectar development that had me further like phoenix wright i also realy liked trucy
, she was just so cute and so energetic,and she was really good in court,used to be better than apollo untill he surpassed her in about case 4-2(and i can bet you that in 2 games he can reach,if not surpass,phoenix wright himself)and klavier gavin,he was a friendly prosecutor who had no problem in helping defense attornies find the truth,and a rockstar who brings even more life and exitment to the court
now i started by disliking zak,especcially when he ran away from the court and when i found out he had the real page that could have freed,however as i invistigated i started to see his reasons and liked him,you see

I thought everyone from 4-2 was great, actually. Except Wocky. :/ I mean, he had his funny moments, but overall he was kind of a brat.
Like, he didn't even care about anything that you were doing for him until the end.
Apollo was like "DON'T WORRY I'M GOING TO WORK HARD TO PROVE THAT YOU'RE INNOCENT!" and Wocky was just like "BIZZOY I'M A GANGSTA LOL"
...Oh, and Wesley Stickler. He scared me.

Hobo Phoenix, I like Phoenix all the time.
Apollo, I was more neutral toward him at first, but have lately started liking him more.
Dislike
Klavier, I hate all the prosecutors except for Godot, anyway, and sometimes Edgey.
Wocky and anyone else related to him, I just did not like that case much at all.
Daryan, he was annoying and arrogant.
Vera, I got stuck on one of her testimonies and had to watch her draw over and over again. Couldn't skip that sprite.

I don't really dislike the characters so much as I dislike how a lot of the game is "just sit back and let one of these guys do the work for you," especially the first case and the last day of the last case, where Apollo should really have taken a more active role.
Dammit, I bought this game because I want to force criminals to crack, not because I want to watch some air-guitar douchebag do my work for me.

Apollo Justice (but he should speak more and think less, as Phoenix did)

I mean, I guess she's not sad as much, but Maya had her sister die and got blamed for the murder; had her aunt set up a murder plot and got that blamed on her too; got kidnapped, starved, and was threatened with death; and had her mother die trying to prevent her aunt's second, even more elaborate murder plot.
Trucy just had her (honestly kind of a jerk) dad skip out on her leaving her with a way more awesome dad.
Trucy is just Maya with a way less shitty life.

Sure I saw some similarities with Maya, but nothing beats Maya as an assistant, and Trucy's character is, like I've said, so Mary Sue. Maybe a Mary Sue version of Maya would be a good description. I hate Mary Sues.
And yeah, she has a less shitty background, but then, I really just hate trying-hard-to-be-cute characters. >.>

1. He looks a bit like Iggy Pop, and I like Iggy Pop.

I'm also not really much of an Apollo fan. Phoenix is infinitely more lovable.
That said, I like piano player Phoenix (I refuse to call him "hobo Phoenix".). But he is basically a completely new character. His personality is literally NOTHING like it was is any of the other games. In the older games, he was sarcastic, witty, and smart. Now he's quiet, mysterious, and wise. He's good, but not as good as DA Phoenix.
I personally like Valant, though. He's hilarious.

As for dislikes, I really kind of hated Daryan a lot. But I think it was mainly his character design that pissed me right off; stupid penis hair. The only instant in which I liked him/found him funny?

Everyone else I was mainly eh, neutral on. Apollo had some potential and I saw some sarcasm and humor that I liked, but he kept getting outshined in his own game, and at the end, I feel like I barely got to know him. So...I'll reserve my judgment for now, in case they decide to give him another game (or two for a trilogy) for some much-needed character development...
Oh, and Kristoph? Again good idea, with the whole

I liked most of the AJ cast, to be perfectly honest. I loved Apollo for his headstrong personality, a trait that I feel separates him from Phoenix; that, and he seems to rely less upon luck. Go Machi! <3 When I first started 4-3 he didn't grab my attention, but as the case went on I grew to love him. He's so interesting, not to mention adorable. I loved seeing his eyes at the end of the case!
