"Don't talk nonsense, Kristoph," Phoenix grinned, tapping the side of Kristoph's face with his tie, "There's plenty of room there for me to tie you up with. Unless you object to me being tied to you in the first place? I thought you'd be game for the idea." Huffing to himself in disappointment, he didn't think that Kristoph would put up a fight about it. Maybe he should ask Miles...

Kristoph couldn't help but smile at Phoenix's somewhat childish huff, rearranging his glasses from where he'd knocked them with his tie. "...Fine. But it would probably be best if we didn't move around too much." He glanced around quickly for a chair, pulling one from the side to sit next to Phoenix. He gestured at his leg resignedly. "Go on, then."

Ema scowled. When she'd given the dare, she hadn't exactly expected him to choose the MURDERER of the room. Someone interesting, like simmerous Mr. Edgeworth or the fop. Ah well, to each their own, she surmised. Although...why the heck DID he choose the murderer? Had they forgiven each other?

"Heh, yeah, sitting still would be best, but I don't think it's likely to happen," Phoenix joked, looking at his tie nostalgically. He remembered how uncomfortable it was wearing it in court when battling Miles. It was hardly going to be any easier around his ankles. Atleast he didn't have to wear it around his neck. Sitting down in the seat beside Kristoph, Phoenix wrapped the tie around their ankles, and tied the ends of the tie together in a firm knot. Looking slightly grimace, he could see this ending badly also. What if Kristoph or himself were involved in a dare? Atleast now he had security and didn't have to worry about stranger entering his house without him knowing.

Looking back at Ema's look of horror at his choice of partner, he could guess why. Kristoph HAD framed him, making him lose his badge, and he was accused of murder. It was hardly forgivable if it were all true, but if it wasn't... Glancing back to Kristoph, his friend seemed a little wary about having his ankle chained to something even if it was his old friend. It was rather awkward... atleast Kristoph had somewhat of a smile for him still. Phoenix gave him an 'I'm sorry' shrug back. Turning back to the group, Phoenix nodded,

"So far so good. Who's spinning next?"

Draco intended to examin the bottle in detail, to determine exactly what brand of grape juice it was, until he felt the eyes of the entire kitchen fall upon him. He looked around, his hand on the bottle. "What?" he asked gruffly. He then realised it was time for the bottle to spin again. He grumbled. Might as well show these hatchling what it means to take a dare from a dragon.

He gave the bottle a good spin, nearly flingling it off the table had he not stopped it in time. "Sorry," he muttered apologetically. "Let's try that again." He spun it again, gently this time, and waited for it to rest. His eyes followed the bottle's neck off the table toward the red suited young man with the pointy locks. This should be interesting, he thought. "Hey, kid! Looks like you're it," he stood as he spoke, tired of sitting. "Truth or dare?"

Kristoph rubbed his leg where the course fabric of Phoenix's tie was fastened with a grimace. He really needed some better quality ties. Although, he knew from previous attempts that Phoenix didn't really appreciate Kristoph buying clothes for him.

Straightening back up, Kristoph's gaze sharpened with interest as Apollo was spun. Let's see if my young apprentice's daring has changed any.

Phoenix let out a held breath when Apollo was spun. He may've chosen a dare, but that was one person down before the end of that round. Maybe they could get through this without him having to get out of his seat.

Dare, huh? Draco rubbed his chin, thinking of a good challenge for the kid. He hardly knows the poor hatchling, other than from the badge on his lapel that he was a lawyer...there was very little to go on there. He wasn't going to go easy though. It has to be something tough...something that even his subordinates were unable to do.

An idea began to form as he remembered his bulging eyes. This would be a perfect challenge for the kid. "Okay, hatchling. I dare you...to make me laugh. Rules, anything except tickling goes. Jokes, slapstichk, wierd faces, as long as you don't break anything in Mr. Wright's house. You hear me chuckle or see me smile, the dare is done. And there is no time limit."

((I decided this because I felt Apollo could percieve when Draco's trying not to smile))

Steven gumshoe reached for the bottle with a shaking hand. "I guess I can give it a shot. But do I have to kiss them? What if they don't want me to, pal?" He heard the name Scruffy and raised an eyebrow, unsure as to why she called him such. He spun the bottle and watched as it started to spin, coming to a stop slowly and pointing at the female host of the party. Gumshoe was taken aback as he retraced the line several times in his mind and approached her. He bent at the waist, pressing his lips to Trucy's and backed away after a small peck, turning a deep red. "I'm sooooooooory siiiiiiiir!" He said, sounding identical to his father. "The bottle told me to!"

Apollo grinned weakly as he heard what his dare would be. He rubbed his forehead, thinking of what he could do to make the stoic Detective laugh when it hit him.

"MIB! Lang is in trouble!" he shouted, voice thundering through the apartment. The dare had just begun.

Reeling back slightly at the suddenness of the kiss, Trucy's eyes widened before she grinned shyly at Steven. "That's okay! It's the point of the game, right?" She gestured to the bottle. "You have to spin again now, kay?"

WHAAAAAAAAAAAT!!?!?!?!?" Gumshoe shouted, taken aback. "But I already did it! What if it makes me kiss someone else who doesn't want me to!" He glanced around, confused and nervous before reaching for the bottle one more time. He wrapped his hand around the bottle and set it spinning, the bottle rolling as it spun and bouncing off of the table before coming to a stop pointing at the meek looking girl with the sketchpad that was petting Lang as he walked in. (Vera, in case you couldn't tell)

Vera glanced down at the bottle, with the neck pointed straight toward her. She heard what Trucy said was the rules for the game, about the spinner has to kiss whoever the bottled pointed to. She chewed on her thumb absently, thinking of what would happen. The young man was very loud, but seems quite nervous to be here. She could relate to that, she felt. His quick peck for Trucy was sweet, and a bit funny. She wasn't sure how to react though. In all her years locked up, she never even though about kissing a boy. Her father she kissed, as a daughter would to she her affection. But this was different. This was a complete stranger. She wasn't sure she could go through this.

Before she had time to speak, however, a familiar booming voice rumbled through the entire house. "MIB! Lang is in trouble!"

"Shifu!" The MIB ca rushed through the broken door down the hall and into the kitchen. "Shifu! What's happen, Shifu!" He gasped as he saw his boss's hair slightly out of place from when Vera was petting him, and a lipstick mark on his forehead. "Shifu! What did they do to you!" He rushed at Apollo, grabbing him by the shirt. "It was you wasn't it! What did you do to Shifu!?"

Draco was suprized by the kid's vocal capacity, and wasn't sure how he planned to make him laugh with this outburst. He made the dare though, so he continued to watch to see how this would fare out.

Settling down after the ordeal with the MIB, Vera turned back to the young man. "Well...um...I guess I should introduce myself, first." She scibbled down her name along with a picture of herself. "My name is Vera Misham...and...I guess we have to kiss now...right?"

Apollo smirked as the MIB rushed over to him and grabbed him by the shirt. The dare was going as planned. Now to start Part 2.

"Yes it was me who did that but he wasn't as good as Prosecutor Edgeworth the other day who..." suddenly Apollo broke into a cold sweat as his pupils dilated. He didn't say what he thought he just said in front of everyone and the MIB, right? The MIB and Lang had a rivalry back in the day against Prosecutor Edgeworth, according to one of them. His fingers twitched as he awaited what he knew was about to come.

The MIB glared at Miles Edgeworth. He should have known that prosecutor was out to ruin Shifu's reputation. "You did what?! You dare insult Shifu without my knowing! You will pay for this! Call out!" Seven of the 99 agents rushed in, crowding the kitchen more than it has before. They circled around Edgeworth. "We'll teach you to disrespect Shifu for the last time!"

Draco's eyes widen at Apollo's move. What is that kid up to? he thought. He found himself quite curious as to how the Chief Prosecutor would react to this.

Vera eyes widened a little as Steve inched closer to her face. She felt her heart race in her chest, and her cheeks burning red. She gazed into his eyes, however, and saw something...intriguing perhaps. She wasn't sure, but there was something in his eyes that felt strong. He froze, obviously to afraid to move closer. Vera decided to take a change, and pulled him the rest of the way. Her lips met his, and suddenly....she felt a surge of energy flow through her. She couldn't believe it! She was actually kissing a boy....and liking it! She close her eyes, lost in the sensation. It felt like she imagine in all the fairytales that she read as a child.

Realising she was lingering too long, she pulled apart, staring at Steve. She blushed wildly, averting her eyes to her sketchbook. "Um...er, thank you," she said softly, hearing her heart still beating at a rapid rate. Still, she smiled to herself for what she did. She never felt like this before.

His eyes widened when she pulled him close, then closed when their lips touched. His hand reached up toward her cheek instinctively, but he stopped as she pulled away. He looked at her eyes, watching as she looked away and smiled at her softly. "N-no problem, pa- I mean Miss Vera..." His cheeks were glowing beet red as he inched back to his seat, glancing up at her on occasion, confused. What the hell had just happened, and why did he want it to happen again?

Kristoph smiled very slightly at Apollo's dare. He had made Kristoph chuckle many a time, though it was mainly due to his errors whilst at work. This man didn't really look like the laughing type either, so it was a decent dare.

He was distracted by a slight shift of movement from Phoenix's leg and Kristoph sighed. He might as well get the inevitable over with. "Phoenix? A private word, if we could?" He didn't stand for the obvious reasons, waiting instead for a reply first.

((Ark - can we make the formsprig event canon here as well? ^^;))

((Um- I'm sorry I didn't leave a note. I was away all Easter for a Scout camp called Moot. I've now got a cold, and my head hurts, but I'm back home ^^ It was a blast :D ))

Watching the dare intently as his protégée stirred up a storm in his kitchen with the MIB flooding back into the house. Starting to feel a little annoyed that the special agents were back in his house again, Phoenix rose to a stand, and gave a stern expression. He wasn't sure if it was him or Miles that he was expecting to stir up by this dare, but if it's drama Apollo wanted, it's drama he was going to get.

"Excuse me," Phoenix started sternly, steadying himself on the table, "I don't appreciate what you are accusing of my friend of." Going to walk up to the MIB, Phoenix stumbled to the ground on his movements, crumbling onto the table. Starting to go slightly red faced, Phoenix turned to Kristoph with a rattled expression motioning his friend to follow him. Turning back to the MIB, Phoenix continued, "Miles is at my house under my own verbal invite. If you have a problem with him, then I'd appreciate it if you dealt directly with me about this instead of my guests."

Watching the scruffy teen give Trucy then Vera a kiss, Aphra leaned back in boredom. He wasn't her type of man, so the kiss didn't interest her, but the two spins seemed to be safe ones for his starting spin. He'd have to do alot better than that if he was going to spin HER though.

The MIB glanced from Edgeworth to Wright, suddenly unsure of what to do. "Very well," he said with dignity turning away from Miles. "Fall in!" The seven agents then surround both Phoenix and Kristoph. "How dare YOU insult our Shifu by inviting this man who insulted our Shifu, when out Shifu has done nothing but shown respect to you and your Shifu...who is....someone I don't know...but anyway! I demand to apologize to Shifu, now!" He paused, then added. "Our Shifu, not your...Shifu..." he grew beat red, angry that he got confused. "How dare you disrespect our Shifu's Shifu but confusing my Shifu with your Shifu. I demand that you Shifu now....er apologize now!" He glanced down at the necktie wrapped around the two men's legs. "And what is that! You know a Chinese fingertrap is much better than a regular tie." He called out to one of the men, who tossed out a multicolored fingertrap. "This will be much better!" He forced Phoenix's index finger into one hole, and Kristoph's into another.

Draco felt that this dare might be getting out of control...what has this kid cause? He should have put more rules on the kid, he thought. He was willing to laugh if only to prevent an accident, but only if it became too much. He continued to witness the events unfold to see what would happen next.

((I would, but it wouldn't be fun arguing with myself, would it.))

Apollo covered his mouth as his face turned red. This was hilarious! He turned towards Detective Draco and saw he still had a mild expression on his face. He frowned. This was meant to be funny but the stoic Detective's expression showed he wasn't about to laugh. He mentally sighed then decided to watch the events continue to fold out but if he didn't laugh then maybe it would be time to go to Plan B.

Feeling a sharp tug on his leg as Phoenix abruptly fell over, Kristoph rose with him. He watched with mild amusement as one of the agents seemed to confuse himself. Really, the force nowadays are getting less and less competent. He was interrupted from his vague feeling of superiority by his finger suddenly being grabbed. Jerking forwards slightly in response, Kristoph saw his finger now firmly attached to Phoenix as well.

Looking up at the MIB, his face was not amused. "...Excuse me?" He tugged at the finger trap experimentally.

"Lies!" the MIB spoke directly to Phoenix, complying with his wishes to speak directly with the attorney instead of Edgeworth. "You are always out to get Shifu from the beginning!" He looked over at Kristoph, saluting. "My apologies, sir. But the fingertrap is much more effective attachment than a simple tie." He then went back to Phoenix. "And well also have a witness to your evil deeds. This giant quail man, right here!" He waved over to Apollo.

Apollo narrowed his eyes when the MIB called him a quail but then suddenly, an idea came to him.

"Oh yeah, it was me who saw you disrespect their Shifu." Apollo said to Phoenix as he nodded to the MIB. He smirked and a glint came into his eyes. "Wouldn't it be fair to humiliate the one who did this evil deed?" Apollo suggested as he crossed his arms.

Kristoph eyed his ex-apprentice warily. Should Phoenix be 'humiliated', Kristoph was very likely to have to be a part in it as well. Especially as they now had a rather strong finger trap accompanying the tight knot tied by Phoenix. He looked over to Draco. Such stoicism wasn't always a good thing.

((No adults. There's room for one more teen. If Lang is inactive still by the end of next weekend then I'll take Kaiyumi off the roster and make Lang idle. We nearly have 30 people in Phoenix's rickety old house XD I'd rather people drop less active characters and make a more active one then keep adding new ones for now. We have the numbers now :) ))

"Quail man?" Phoenix chuckled lightly at the nickname, before Apollo responded in his usual loud voice.

Surprised that Apollo would turnabout the argument onto him, Phoenix raised his brows for a moment, slightly disgruntled that he was now tied so securely to Kristoph's limbs. Specially since the MIB managed to link the index finger on his opposite hand to the foot that was tied up. No going back now. Phoenix was stuck facing Kristoph. Glancing towards his old friend however, he could see his irritation of the situation rising. Leaning closer to Kristoph, Phoenix nodded certainly,

"Don't worry," Phoenix told Kristoph softly, "I can handle this. We may need to waltz this though so I'm not confined to this chair." Turning back to Apollo, Phoenix stood up right again, and adopted a serious look, using his free hand to point at the MIB.

"It's easy to point blame on me, isn't it?" Phoenix grinned, wondering where the joke part of Apollo's plan was going to come into it, "I am childhood best friends with Miles Edgeworth after all, so automatically that would mean that I must be on his side, which I am. It's also the truth that Apollo called out that Mr Lang was being insulted but tell me this." Pausing for a moment for dramatic suspense, Phoenix grinned, "Have you ever heard of a children's story called 'The boy that cried Wolf'?"

You misunderstand me. I merely meant that I would be controliing one adult: Miles, and one teen: Kay

also, if you're worried about more people, then how aout we switch locations, like something happened at Phoenix's house? I'll make miles accomate his giant house.
