Jack finished up his squid, licking his lips. He was happy as a clam, being full for the first time in weeks. Suddenly, a thought struck him. He turned towards Guybrush and said, "Um... Where... where exactly are we going to find this Dejeneur thing? You have a map, right?"

She remembered that there were two other people she hasn't met yet. "So who are you?" Dawn asked Jack. "I assume you got on the ship when me and my crew weren't looking."

Amara looked around, as the crew ate their share of squid. One of the crew members, who, from her observation a few minutes earlier was the owner of the ship approached the man who they recently pulled up from the sea, asking for his identity, as she wasn't present during either of their arrivals.

"An' I'm Amara Clyde," Amara said, stepping forward after Jack's introduction. "I came on deck about the same time they found 'im, though I wan on this ship ever since you all stepped aboard, up on the yard of the fore topsail o'er there." After pointing to the smaller topsail, she gave a small smile at the edge of her mouth and said, "Well, I jest came aboard for adventure, since I was an orphan all my life, though I 'lready had quite my share of it in my life. I'll vol'nteer for navigator, if ye all want, since many a sailor at the port knows how easily I can make a route. How 'bout it?"

"Sure." Dawn was about say more when Tanja popped her head into the quarters.
"Dawn, we've got a bit of a problem here. The ship Adele sighted is flying the British Navy's colors." She told Dawn. "They're rounding the corner of the last island we passed, and they might sight us when they sail around the turn."
Dawn raced up to the deck. She grabbed her spyglass out of her pocket and looked. "Whooo, that's going to be quite a problem right there. Anyone's got a plan on outrunning them?"

Jack's mouth went dry. Sure, he'd known that pirates had run-ins with the Navy, but he'd never thought it would actually happen to him. He'd just figured he'd get lucky and avoid any confrontation, but there the ship was, drawing closer and closer by the second. It looked like the crew might just figure out how worthless he really was soon enough. Well, at least he'd gotten something to eat, and he wouldn't be hungry walking off the plank or rotting in some cell.

Amara's smirk turned into a serious line, as a new problem arose. "The first thing to do is not battle," she said, losing her pirate accent. "That's the last resort. The first thing to do is hide, but we don't have the time or speed to outrun them. Since that is the case, another point in keeping hidden is camouflage. This is a Chinese ship, so that will cast some suspicion, but ever since the trading post made in....Hong Kong, was it? there have been quite a number of Chinese trading vessels, so as long as we can act as traders, at least for the meantime, we can be safe. Any objections?" She turned and looked at the crew, an eyebrow raised.

Problem is going to be that your face might be recognizable. As for Eve... how many people know you? And are they Navy?" Dawn said. The Red Dragon was sailing quickly, but the Navy ship was slowly approaching.

Jack perked up immediately. It seemed as though he wouldn't be so worthless after all. Sure, growing up in a bit of a privileged family didn't do much for one's pirating abilities, but it looked like there was at least something useful he'd picked up at school. He spoke up, a bit unsure of himself. "I.. well... I kinda... I can speak Chinese fairly well."

"I can speak it well enough for them not to suspect me," Jack replied. It seemed as though, against all odds, they were going to make it out of this mess. The Navy vessel drew closer and closer, until it was right along side of their ship. Escape was impossible, so it looked as though the crew would need to bluff their way out of trouble.

Guybrush tucked his hair into the hat and put the bandanna over his eyes. "Ok, well, first, the hat will cover up my hair. And since my eyes would give me away too, this blindfold will clear that up. Say 'konichiwa' or whatever to your blind, mute Chinese trading fortune teller," he finished.

Amara let out an almost unnoticeable chuckle as Guybrush put on his get-up. "That's just great, Xiansheng Ji-Brus," she said bluntly, bowing in 'respect'. "Honestly, that's a nice idea," Amara said to him, "but there's just one last detail to make your get-up complete." She then dragged him to a barrel, and made him sit down, pushing his head downwards. Then she turned to Dawn and asked, "Dawn, do ya have any fortune telling sticks or such? This here fortune-teller's going to need some."

She replied, "Well, if you want your life and the lives of pretty much everyone on board to be spared, you'd best keep your mouth shut, and at least pretend as though you're too busy to say something, else when those there Navy officers get onboard, the whole operation might blow." Then, turning to the rest of the crew, she asked with a bit of an unnerving gaze, "Is there anyone else with the same complaint as this bloke?"

The HMS Victoria sailed to the east, bearing its country's colors proudly with Captain William Clarke at the helm. "Ahoy! Captain!" the lookout hollered from the crow's nest. The captain replied, "What is it, Johnson?" The lookout got his telescope to view the spotted vessel closer, and said, "A ship, Captain! And from the looks of it, it's a Chinese vessel. Will we check it out, sir?" Clarke nodded. Turning to his commander, he said, "Commander Wood, follow that trading vessel, full speed." Wood nodded, and instructed the course change.

Amara looked towards the coming Navy vessel, and said to them, "Oye, that ship's speeding up, and fast. We better take our posts." She then went towards the bucket and mop, and grabbing the handle of the mop, dipped it into the murky, soapy water and started to clean the deck.

((Anyone can control the Navy from this point, by the way.))

Oassu groaned as he heard the captain calling "Ok folks your plan won't work so long as I'm ere, that's my old ship so I kinda need to find a place to hide on this ship" he said moving behind the door as the navy ship drew level "The commandant over ere knows who I am so you won't be able to pass me off as a random deckhand" he said "Nice disguise by the way" he said spotting Guybrush A man should protect his hair as much as possible he thought respecting the man's love of his hair "So....no disguises or fake names for me by the way." he murmered.

Dawn started to sing a silly song about fishes in Chinese, and noticed the Navy ship that was almost upon them. She lowered her volume a bit and switched to English. "Oassu, you can hang about in the kitchen a bit. Vasco, can you cook stinky tofu? If you can, then check the cupboard closest to the window. There should be a bowl of it there. It smells terrible, but tastes good. Navy will not go into the kitchen." Dawn resumed singing her song in Chinese.

Jack set himself to work "cleaning" the deck as the ship bore down upon them. As he swept his dirty mop across the deck, the putrid smelly of tofu stung his nostrils, and he gagged a bit. He went over all he'd learn in his studies of Chinese as he waited for the inevitable questions over him being the translator. A single bead of sweat rolled down his head as the Navy ship began to board them.

Dawn kept her ears perked as she sang the fish song. "我爱鱼。我爱鱼!" Dawn grinned as she sang the song. She knew that Tanja and Adele was laughing, but they were all singing the song. The Navy was boarding her ship.

Dawn turned and took a quick glance at the ship's name. The Victoria... She mused. It's not a common ship around here... wonder why it's here though... She got down from the barrel, as the captain boarded the ship. ((Until the Navy leaves, I'll write in english, but the character's actually speaking chinese.))
