The Seventh Moon. Yea, a TV movie, but it was a movie. 1/10. It was predictable, lame, and a waste of time. I only watched it because I lost the remote
Toy Story 3 900000000/10. It was amazing. Not gonna spoil it :D
Eclipse -9/10 It was horrible. It was too much shirtless-ness, and it was just horrible. Yay. Awesome. The dog's naked again. I so needed to see that. Great.
And there's a Professor Layton Movie? SWEET! I know what I'm doing for the next few days :D

Eclipse: 10/10 - Best Twilight movie so far!

Toy Story 3 3D 6/10 - Not a huge Toy Story fan to begin with but it was a friend birthday. The film itself was ok but the 3Dness really didn't enhance the experiance.

Yes! Nice to see that I'm not the only one who like Twillight! :will:

Karmina and Karmina 2: 9/10 each. Those movies are made in Quebec, but I think it's possible to find english dubbed/subbed versions though it's probably not as good as the original version... They are parodies of vampire movies and probably two of my favorite movies made in Québec. The first one was made in 1996 and the second one in 2001.
Spoiler: Plot Summaries
Karmina: Karmina, a young vampire (only 140 years old) flees her Translylvanian castle where she must marry the horrible Vlad to please her father, the mean Baron, and her mother, the eccentric Baronness. Karmina finds refuge in Quebec at the home of her aunt Esméralda, an older vampire who lives among humans thanks to a potion that temporarily transforms a vampire into one of them. Under the effect of the potion, Karmina falls in love with Phillipe, a charming church organist. But Vlad, the Baron and the Baronness soon show up in pursuit of her and turn a poor customs officer, Ghislain Chabot, into a vampire to aid them in retrieving her. Esméralda must become the great vampire of yesteryear to fly to the aid of the lovers.
Karmina 2: Following the first Karmina, all the vampires need to take the special potion to be humans. The potion is made by Ghyslain Chatbot and send to Transylvania for the others vampires. Chatbot's wife isn't a vampire yet and she wish to be one. Ghyslain doesn't want to because of all the rules & responsibilities of being a vampire. She throw Ghylsain out of the house without the potion. Ghyslain try to get back in there to get the potion for the others with the help of Vlad. Meanwhile, Philippe comes to Montréal because they're running out of potion in Transylvania.

KICKASS

This gets a Kiwi/Mango score.

Yes, I was late to the party of praising this movie, but after seeing it I have to say Nicholas Cage was better than I expected and dare I say...............FUNNY!?! :beef:

As a movie (not having read the comic) it was entertaining and funny at the same time. Now for the comic book sequel movie adaptation.......

Fun, unrelated fact: Totoro is meant to be a troll from Scandinavian folklore, but he looks like a... owl-cat-bunny-thing, and is actually very friendly. He's very cute though.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 10/10 - Always have loved this film my favourite of the series and I can't think of anyway I would've had it otherwise.

Toy Story 3 10/10 - Well.....damn I think this is the best film to be released in several years but oh my does it tug at the heartstrings near the end.

Oh, where the older girl and her father are in the hot tub together and the little sister bursts in- they just look so guilty that it's hilarious. You could just see everyone in the hall (because we watched it at school on "Japan Day") thinking caught in the act, much? =3

And I know I laughed at most of the rest, but I haven't seen it for nearly four years so I can't really remember exactly what they were =P

Went to the drive in the other day, and saw two movies:

Despicable Me - 7/10, story was really predictable, but the animation was wonderful, Steve Carell did a great job playing a mad scientist, and
Spoiler: tiniest spoiler
The part where he read the bedtime story to the kids was hilarious. "Now you have to make them drink the milk!"

Inception - 9/10, powerful story, great concept, a choice cast, and stunning effects made it exciting from beginning to end. Christopher Nolan really knows how to make great movies: The Prestige, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Memento, and Insomnia being his other great works. Inception definitely wasn't as confusing as everyone says it was, but I did notice a few contradictions and small things that were questionable, but it was definitely on par for the majority of the movie.

The Dark Knight: 9/10

Loses half a mark for being so long (thought they did pull the length off perfectly) and another half because it's hard to understand some of the things Batman are saying.

Spoiler:

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (yes, try not to laugh your butts off) 8/10

And the extra two points are for Demi Moore, sexy as Himiko Kazura! It seems I have a thing for girls with double-pistols and great outfits.
Otherwise it'd be a 6/10. Even though I love girl-power and agent-stuff.

All the stupid rapper stuff is just against my values. I'm not a fan of Eminem either. *dodges rotten tomatos*

Here we see lots of good movies on TV, even without cable. Speaking of which, I have another one:

Underworld 8/10

Would've been a nine a few years back, but all the vampire-stuff that's on TV nowadays kinda makes it lose the edge and originality of it.
The only vampire thing that I am really into is True Blood. At least one even remotely mature vampire-show.

Shutter Island : 9.5 outta 10

Minused a little bit because I kinda guessed one of the big twists early on only to go 'nah' later and find out I was wrong. Damn it was good, shame the ending got sad. It kinda hit hard as I be studying psychology and know how bad the *SPOILER ENDING BLARRGH* stuff is.

I don't give perfect ratings, ever, but I just can't find anything wrong with this one. I bet you expect me to go on a long rampage about how much I liked everything and some of the details, but I'm not. I, nor anyone in my opinion, can do this movie justice via review. Unless the review can have the same emotion that the movie has, it's just going to sound pretentious. Before seeing it, my favourite movie was Shawshank Redemption. This is now a serious contender, being my favourite animated movie ever, and the best movie I've seen in years. It really underlines how much bad movies suck, and even goes to show how much of an asshole I am and other people are. That's really all I can say about it. It's shown me that I can be a little too angry or neglectful or dickish sometimes. I'm not exactly sure how, but it did.

Saw 2 movies today.

Batman Begins: 8/10
Not a good as TDK but it was still good.

Toy Story 3: 10/10
As I said once before, I don't rate any movie witha aperfect 10/10. When I rated To Kill a Mockingbird 10/10, it was not because it was a perfect film, but because it was just so fantastic that anything less would be an insult. But TS3 is perfect. In every way. 'nuff said.

A-Team (the movie) - 7/10
Seriously what is this? It's suppsoed to be a re-telling of how the A-Team were framed and became wanted fugitives. The director has seeamingly shunted in some random characters which seem very out of place in the A-Team universe. The film itself is not bad, a lot of effort was put into the SFX and acting, but I can't help but feal they were trying to re-new the characters to the audience, make them more original, but if i'm honest the job they did amde em cringe whenever Face said even oen damn word. I knwo this is just a side note but; THEY ACTUALLY KILELD PEOPLE! No, really! I'd ahve liekd this film mroe should it ahve stayed true to the original series but I guess there's nothing you can do now?

Turtles forever: 8/10 As a big fan of the TMNT, I was really interested by this movie. The storyline was interesting and the characters reactions to their counterpart where hilarious! The only reason why I give this movie 8/10 instead of 10/10 is because April, Casey and Splinter didn't met their counterpart and because none of the version of Baxter Stockman was in the movie... I would've like to see interactions between the 1987's "The fly" Stockman and the 2003's "Only a brain and an eye" Stockman...

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World -

Wow...

Words cannot describe how much ass this movie kicks.

Just saw it today and I wasn't very enthusiastic. I read the graphic novels to get me ready for this film and I enjoyed them. A lot. Which is why I wasn't very excited. I thought "Man, this is going to be another Watchmen. They're going to skip over major parts and change something important."

Boy was I wrong. Not only does this movie include many elements that the comic did, it included more. I really felt like this was a real comic book. If life were like this, it would be a comic book come to life. But not only that, it had various game references and sound effects included. This movie was almost word for word the same as the comics, but also included animated scenes from them.

If you have had second thoughts about seeing this movie, throw that doubt away. The acting is incredibly believable, the directing is amazing, the effects stylish and the story is a riot. Also, it made me a Michael Cera fan. Which I thought was impossible.

The Eye.

5/10 simply because I want to do things to Alessandro Nivola.

The film itself is ok though, and not as shit as most people make out.
