I'd like to think it's some kinda mind control device devised by Larry and Mia (Miarry love!). As you can see Mia is watching on satisfied her plan is coming to fruition in forcing the common populace to be drawn to it fingers-first while Larry gives the viewers a cheeky thumbs up and a wink knowing that they will all soon be his slaves.

Thanks! The artist that drew the base pic from the actual manga was Pink Hanamori, and a crapload of the drawings she does are very cute! (Hence why she does shoujo manga mostly, I guess.) Her art's awesome!
