It wasn't.
He stood still holding his breath. The wavelength was vibrating in short bursts. And then it went flat again. He paused the recording and played back the audio...
"fsh...fsh...click....'hm?'.....CRACK......foosh.....'Probably chicken feed or something'......fsh......fsh........................................................."
The placemarker then went over the short disturbances in the wavelength, but despite the high amplitude of the disturbances, nothing could be heard, at least not through the computer's speakers. It was at that point that Tyray realized he left his studio headphones in the van.
"...dammit," he mumbled to himself as he began to head back toward the ladder

As he walked toward the van, he saw Jean holding Victoria in the van.
"Hmm, either she's sensing something or they're having a moment.....better not interrupt them." He turned around and walked back toward the barn, hoping they wouldn't see him. He could get his headphones later.
"I just hope they keep it G-Rated because there are ghosts around here" Tyray said to himself, laughing

Aeria climbed down into the hole. It wasn't as long as it looked, but the darkness was strong. She stumbled a little once she realized she was at the bottom. She was suddenly shocked to find an occupant, a skeleton.

"Actually, I'll go first," she said boldly. She approached the trap door, took a deep breath and climbed down into the hole. She could only hear her terrified breathing and her rapid heartbeat. She reached the bottom quite quickly and looked around, then saw something. She approached it, only to find it was a skeleton. Aeria let out a scream, running backwards and pressing herself against the wall.
"DAMN IT! THERE'S A FREAKING SKELETON DOWN HERE!" she yelled. "GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE, ARGYLE!!!" She closed her eyes and sank to the floor, making sure she couldn't see the skeleton, rocking back and forth.

If Torque found nothing, then this is the only clue we got from the barn... he thought as he looked at the sound file on his computer screen. He made made a note in the file and saved it. He prepared a new file for the next recording.
He walked back to Torque. "Well then, let's take a look in the farmhouse and then we'll continue on to the graveyard."

"I got some odd hits on the microphone in the loft of the barn, but they're inaudible on the computer speakers. Unfortunately, the ladder collapsed shortly after I came down, so I can't go back up to look for more clues," Ty said.
"We're going to check out the farmhouse and then move on to the graveyard. Care to join?"
