Aha, I totally thought that as well!

But yeah, amazing movie. 9.5/10 and like others, I cried quite a bit when it came to sad scenes involving Snape...sigh...

Spoiler:
That one shot of him holding Lily's body completely broke me.

Just got back from Captain America. Pretty good up to the ending.

Spoiler:
Felt way too rushed, and the way Steve just goes "WHOOPS GUESS I MISSED MY DATE LOL" after Sam Jackson Fury tells him he's been out for 70 years kind of made him come off as a prick. I mean, I know they didn't want to end the movie with a downer scene like Cap going to find Peggy as some old woman in a nursing home or even dead, but if you're going to end a romance plot like that, don't even bother having one. :yuusaku:

I guess now we can finally move on to the Avengers movie. In another year.

Captain America: The First Avenger: 8/10.

It's a pretty awesome film. Good characters. Good story. Good action. Good atmosphere. Nothing bad. I especially liked the ending.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
7.5/10
it was good, there were some parts where I would go like "shit just got real"
but the rest was kinda... I don't know, it wasn't as good as the scenes where
Spoiler:
McGonagall gets badass, or when they're protecting the castle.

My favorite scene would be
Spoiler:
Snape's memories holy shit I gasped so many times.

Iron Man 2
8.5/10
pretty good, I really liked it, except for the "final boss battle"
I expected more fight

Tron: Legacy
It was pretty "meh"
6/10

I watched an old Batman movie (can't recall the title) and it was laughably bad. And the Joker said something about killing black people :O Rascist!

I went to see The Inbetweeners Movie tonight, and I'd give it a 7. It was good, but I much prefer the episodes. I find them funnier, at least. Worst cinema experience EVER though. It was the busiest I've ever seen it, and it was handled so badly. The queue turned into an angry crowd, running towards the ticket people, and the film started an hour later than it was supposed to.

For anyone who doesn't know what The Inbetweeners is, it's a popular TV series in the UK

This movie was spectacular. Barring the stupidity of some of the characters, the film was really really good. I don't know what to say, it was just awesome.

Heh wonder why the queue was so bad.
I quite like the inbetweeners but I don't know any friends who really would go see it with me...best wait until it inevitably appears on Channel 4

Let the Right One in

10/10

It was gripping exciting sad happy and good, though the gripping part may be because it's in Swedish so gotta focus on subtitles XD.
It's a really nice little romance...dunno if I would call it a horror though but the ending is sweet.

The Joker isn't in any 'old Batman movies' except for ones titled 'Batman'. Unless you're calling 'The Dark Knight' an 'old Batman movie', even though it came out in 2008.

Edit: Oh, er, unless it's an animated one.

Watched a lot of movies this weekend:

Last House On The Left: 5/10 - not my kind of movie. At all.

Blazing Saddles: 9.7/10 - Utterly hilarious.

The Shawshank Redemption: -/10 - Due to my rating system, there is no way I can give this a number. I can't give it more than a 10 because a 10 is perfect for me and I can't give it a 10 point something because you can't have levels of perfect. But this is a fantastic film. No wait. Experience. Not film. Experience.

A Town Called Panic: 9.8/10 - Third funniest movie I've ever seen. So goddamn zany.

12 Angry Men: 9.0/10 - Fabulous film. Exactly a 9.0/10 for me. So great despite its simple idea and small cast.

Ghibli seriously outdid themselves here- the film looks beautiful, the soundtrack and voice actors are fantastic and overall, the film has to be the most adorable and touching thing I've seen for years <3

Anastasia- 8/10
One of my favourite animated films ever- simply because most of it is completely ridiculous XD But the animation and the songs are good and I have to admit that any film which can put the Russian Revolution down to a swarm of tiny green demons let loose by an evil undead monk gets my vote :3

I performed in 12 Angry Men as part of a College drama exam, before I watched it two years later. I was the Twelfth Juror, and played it completely differently than the film's version.

As for the last film I watched, I took a huge risk and watched...
Super Mario Bros.

It's hard to give it an overall rating, because this can be viewed from two perspectives. As an adaptation of the games, or as a standalone film.

As an adaptation, it sucks. Granted, it didn't have much material to work from being made in 1993, but they could've done a better job of telling what they did decide on. It didn't seem like they believed their own story. References to elements of the game not focused on are thrown in without any explanation, and what is explained is done poorly.

As a standalone film, it was average at best. It has some highlights here and there, and likewise there are some really weak points in the film as well. It's hard to find a stable line of quality, which brings it all down. Some positive points I can draw from this is that Bob Hoskins did an excellent performance of Mario (pre-Martinet version, it's spot on). Also a good point is the special effects were pretty good for its time, though we don't really get to see much until the ending.

If I had to give it a number rating, I'd say a 4/10.

Limitless. 8/10. It was pretty good. The lead is hot, to say the least. Mmm. Delicious. It had a good storyline too, but there were quite a few holes in logic.

Insidious. 6/10. They tried waaaay too hard to make this scary, and they failed. I didn't even jump once. Some things were creepy, but not scary.
