After a while, Vera pulled away from the kiss. Well, my kisses are over. It's a relief, I guess?Vera then looked at Alex and gave him a small smile.
"Thanks for being so nice about all of this." She whispered, a little awkwardly.
Vera made her way back to where she was before, unaware that she had to kiss another stranger soon, and began to draw.

Inside, she was sharing Audrey's sentiments. It was good to have someone to talk to, even if it wasn't Trucy. She felt her nervousness disappear entirely. She felt that one way or another, this was going to be a night to remember. A night where she could forget her troubles, and be truly happy.

She felt herself drift off into her own little world, remembering happier times. After a few seconds, tears started brimming in her eyes. Noticing this, she quickly rubbed her eyes and tried to save face.
"Sorry about that, Ms. Lincolns. I usually don't get this emotional." she said, hoping to move the conversation along. "So, how about you? When did you get introduced to Troupe Gramarye?"

Still grinning widely at Zeth's dismay over his apron (clearly he had forgotten he had been wearing it), Tiffany allowed him to drag her unceremoniously from Trucy's room into the Wright's kitchen. By the number of people assembled there, she assumed this was where the aforementioned Spin the Bottle game was taking place.
"Tiffany! I had no idea you were coming here. Can I get you something to drink?" Phoenix smiled, extending a hand. Gently extricating her right hand from Zeth's grip, Tiffany returned Phoenix's handshake with a smile. She'd had an especial regard for Phoenix Wright ever since his first cases, though it wasn't until well after the end of the Carini's illegal doings that she had met him through Trucy.
"It's a pleasure to see you again, Phoenix. I didn't know I was coming myself but Signorina Trucy made me an invitation that piqued my curiosity... I would adore something to drink- as long it does not contain that infernal grape juice of yours, I'll be happy with whatever you have around."
Tiffany considered for a moment. Her natural curiosity led her to wonder how such an odd assortment of guests had come about and as the host, Phoenix would be better placed to inform her than anyone else.
"You have an interesting array of guests tonight. If I am not being too bold, might I ask how your two special guests came to be here in the first place?" she inquired. From what she could recall, Phoenix had no reason to be on good terms with Kristoph Gavin, unless of course, Kristoph's appeal for a retrial was genuinely truthful.

"Yeah, I wonder what they were talking about. It looked sort of important."
Bryan let out a breath of air in relief. Looked liked politics to him. He didn't know much about politics in general, but being the head of the student body meant that he caught wind of ALL the drama in the school from the teachers side, and the students side. Why the guy was dressed in the apron though... he couldn't figure that out. The woman had just noticed his outfit before they left, so he must've been doing a serious conversation for her not to notice. He wondered what was so important that would distract a high class lady like her from his... sort of outfit? He must've been an important person for her to listen to him before she judged his outfit. Something important might be going on in this house for them to react like that. She had obviously just entered the house cause she didn't know he was dressed like that till the seriousness of the conversation ended, and they had to talk before they joined the party. It felt like something suspicious allright. At very least, those parents at the back were doing something strange for him to be dressed like THAT.
"I'm not sure," Bryan lied, glancing down the hall, "What ever it was, it has nothing to do with us," Turning back to Leann, Bryan gave her a slight smile to hide his piquing curious nature. He was dying to know what they were up to back there. Trucy was always a little strange, being all magic, and seemingly very knowing about those around her. What was her father like?
Motioning towards the bed, the distraction of the aproned man was enough to snap him out of his awkwardness for... inviting a girl to bed. A younger girl too. No, maybe this was still weird, but he he had to put that aside, "Lets do this kiss and rejoin the group. Hopefully it's a little less awkward when it's in motion."

"Man, that dare was pretty devious. I wonder how they've gotta feel right about now. Pretty nervous, I bet."
"PAH!" Cara smirked, giving Chris a squeeze, "Of course they will be. It's about time that guy introduced himself to the girls. He's even more clueless about them than Alex is, and that's saying something!" Pausing for a moment, Cara blinked her green eyes, "Wait... what are we doing here for anyways? Shouldn't we be there watching the train wreak happen?"
Bolting to her feet, and throwing Chris up to his in a swift motion, Cara offered her hand to Chris, and gave a pompous look, "Come now! Time to investigate!"

"I... have non 'grape juice' drinks," Phoenix replied defensively, "I have some spirits, and some soft drinks as well as water." Noticing her not listening, Phoenix had guessed that she wanted him to decide what she'd drink. He expected as much.
"Uh, I'll get something for her," Zeth supplied, motioning to the kitchen, "I'll leave you to entertain her curiosity. You know the drill."

Phoenix looked back to Tiffany, raising his eye brows. How did she know about them? Did Zeth ask her to come? Was she investigating the crime herself? Why would she bother? It had nothing to do with her. It was just a big drama that some billionaire and his friend were kicking up bad smells over.
"Zeth has been talking to you, hasn't he?" Phoenix asked, "Do catch me up with what he's told me. I'm curious to how you know about them myself. There is some heavy security on this house after all."

((Side note- Nadindi has pulled out of the RP. This is rather awkward for some, specially with Tiffany just getting interested in Kristoph, but perhaps he can float in the background incase someone wants to play him? I'm going to see if Nadindi has time to get Nadine to officially leave the game. Other than that, her characters are open for play.))

"H...hey Cara!" Alex started, still uneasy about his last kiss, "Uh, did you catch who spun next?"
"Yeah," Cara replied, "It was the Llama king."
"What?" Alex broke out of his self pity for a moment in confusion, "Who do.... oh." Noticing Bryan was no longer there, he wondered where he went. Leann wasn't there either, "Was it Bryan, and did he spin Leann?"
"Yeeaahhh Mr Smartypants," Cara crossed her arms at Alex, "He was dared to do both of his kisses on top of who he spun."
"On top?!" Alex's face broke out into a slight smirk, "you mean like a Cassanova? Leann is going to have an army jealous fangirls waiting for her when we get back to school on Monday."
"That's not the best part," Cara continued, adopting a knowing smirk, "Guess who his second spin was?" Alex froze on the spot at Cara's smirk, not having a CLUE what that meant. Knowing that girl, she could pull a fast one with a poker face, or be telling the truth so frankly that it seemed like fiction. Analysing her expression for a moment, he realised how bad he was at reading her. How on EARTH did Darren date her for so long? She was a tone of fun, but he had no idea what she was thinking.
"I... don't know?" Alex replied. Cara made a wrong answer noise, pretending to hit a buzzer.
"WRONG. Try again." Cara replied, sounding like a game show host, "I'll give you a hint, the bottle pointed at you two."
"W... NO NO NO NO NO!" Alex's face flared up in terror, jumping to the conclusion that she meant that he had to kiss his adopted brother. FORGET how badly that would go down at school. It was bad enough that he didn't date girls. Combining that with kissing Mr Eligible bachelor #1 like THAT... the guy he shared a room and bunk bed with? This was bad. VERY VERY BAD.
Cara's eyes lit up in glee at Alex's expression. She hadn't made him do a face THAT hilarious in SO LONG, "COME! Both of you! His Majesty awaits us!" Cara bounded up and grabbed Alex and Vera with each hand, and began pulling back them towards Chris.
Alex looked between Vera and Chris in panic. Was she telling the truth? Did Bryan REALLY have to kiss him like that? Surely Chris would tell him. Bros looking after bros and all that kind of thing... right? He knew that he was more friends with Darren, but perhaps he pitied him anyway?
((Up to you, Chase. Does Chris want to let Cara have fun and torment Alex? Or is he going to put Alex out of his misery? Man- the game is falling apart with Cara toying with the rules XD ))

"I thought the security to be unnecessary for a teenager's party and when Zeth insisted on explaining that two guests were present whose presence should be kept secret, it wasn't difficult to work out who they were. Zeth mentioned one guest being a convicted criminal, convicted by Signor Justice and yourself- naturally the only person the both of you put in jail who would be on bail or parole was Kristoph Gavin. As for Signor Kraus, he and I frequently move in the same circles and I happen to know that he is to prosecute the retrial."
She paused for a moment, considering whether or not to disclose the information she had been intending to. Deciding in favour, she cleared her throat.
"Zeth happened to mention that this retrial is aimed at bringing down a certain organisation. I find myself in something of a precarious position, in that I believe I fund a significant section of their operations in return for information. Legally speaking, am I culpable if the retrial is successful?"

((Technically speaking though, all Cara has said is the truth, and Alex jumped to his own conclusions. All Darren needs to do is make a big fuss saying that Chris was lying and Chris is busted. Cara would just tell Alex that he was stupid assuming it was him when she didn't say it was. Do you want me to go through with Darren torment + Alex WTFing anyway though? I thought atleast with Alex and Vera going after Bryan, it'd give everyone a reason to follow even if Chris canned it in the end.))

Phoenix stroked his jawline thoughtfully, considering her actions over the years he knew her. She had walked down a few dark alleyways... none half as dark as Zeth from what he gathered, but she consequently hadn't made the enemies that he had. She had a clean paper trail too. That didn't stop her from appearing too clean. She was known for helping the law on the odd occasion.
"Legally," Phoenix started, "As long as your name wasn't brought up by any of the Cats in the families down there you should be fine. You'd want to check your social relations to them though." Turning serious, Phoenix's voice dropped, "I'm sure you're aware of the fine line you walk between the criminal world and justice. I never thought it was a good idea, and a case like this is why. This will rock the criminal underground when this case cracks open, and you'll have to chose a side. I can't make the decision for you though." Pausing for effect, Phoenix watched her expression for a moment. "I'd invest in a security plan of some sorts, Tiffany. Either distance yourself from them, or get in bed with someone that can protect you from it." Giving Zeth a slight glance for a moment, Phoenix said, "And please don't take offence, but I wouldn't count on Zeth when it does happen. He'll have far more on his plate to worry about."
((Oh- I realise Alex's RP was a little ruder than I intended. He probably whould've given her a nod or something at her thank you. He is thankful it's over though. He'll probably be like that with all the kisses. I think Alex is the only one here that doesn't want to be here XD ))

Audrey tried to give Artemis a sincerely happy smile to assure her that she was just fine. "Yes, don't worry about me. I'm doing great. Just a little confused. Um.. If you don't mind me asking.. Do you know anything about Zeth?"
Audrey was really curious to know what was going on with him, and she knew that she would never get a straight answer out of him. She could only hope that Artemis might know something.

Claves Cadaverini trekked through the rain, grumbling as she drew her pink poncho closer to herself to keep as warm and dry as possible. She hated dealing with the Rivales family. They never wanted to do things the easy way. Stressed and wound up over her latest deal with them, she needed to find a way to relax and take her mind off her troubles. Luckily, such an opportunity was just around the corner.
She arrived in front of the Wright Anything Agency, only to see Vaughan guarding the door. A wry smile crossed her face.
"Well, well, well. Never thought I'd see the Dragon guarding someone else's cave. Especially considering that this is supposed to be a teenager's party. Oh, how the mighty have fallen." she said mockingly as she approached the infamous assassin.

Vaughan stayed in his spot, watching the young lady half run towards the house. What was going on it that house? A mob meeting? Broken doors, 3 different crime families, a murderer, lawyers, prosecutors... this had to have been the strangest children's party he had ever attended, he had to admit.
"Tell me about it," Vaughan sighed, "I had to drop my afternoon with my gal for this. It hasn't been boring at least." Watching her approach, Vaughan crossed his arms, ready to defend the door if she made the wrong move, "I'm surprised to see you here without the rest of the Caps. I thought women like you didn't get holidays."

Pulling out his cell phone, Vaughan watched Claves as he sped dialed Zeth. Again, Zeth's pants pocket threw out 'Eye of the tiger' at full volume. Zeth glanced at the phone, giving Tiffany and Phoenix a nod.
"Excuse me," Zeth said, scooting over to his cell phone again. Answering it, Zeth smirked, "Hey, D. You bored of being a doorman yet?" Vaughan smirked slightly, putting his free hand in his pocket.
"Bored?" Vaughan laughed sarcastically, "With every person those Wrights have ever met coming to visit them today? I don't have time for bored, Skunk."
"That's too bad," Zeth replied, "I was beginning to need a smoke. Or a bourbon. All Wrighto has here is cheap wine. Tiffany hates this junk."
"How about I add some more drama to the mix then?" Vaughan asked. Zeth raised his brows,
"Drama? Does drama have a name?"
"Cadaverini. Clave Cadaverini," Vaughan replied, "Likely armed, and looks like she could use a good scotch."
"That's something she wont find here," Zeth laughed, walking towards the hall to the entrance, "I'll be there in a sec."
"Right," Hanging up the phone, and putting it in his pocket, Vaughan motioned to the door, "If you put your weapons by the door, I'll watch over them for you. The Skunk wants to have a chat."
((I assume surrendering weapons is standard procedure. Vaughan isn't telling her to surrender them but it likely wont go down well if her rapier is discovered inside. I don't know if she can pick up on it, but having both Zeth and Vaughan guarding a house that is holding a teen game of spin the bottle is VERY unusual. Not sure if she suspects anything, or if she's just too angry to notice.))

She drew her rapier and tossed it to Vaughan.
"Normally, I wouldn't trust anyone with that blade but my own family. But if you need proof that I'm not here to cause trouble, there it is. Oh, before I forget."
She then took out her Beretta 92 and handed it to Vaughan as well.
"There we are, completely unarmed." she said with a smirk.

Zeth stopped by the linen cupboard and grabbed another towel to dry Claves off with. Amused that so many people that interested his research were here, Zeth had a private smile on his face. He wondered what she'd be here for. Perhaps she wished to see Phoenix and pay homage to him for his company's help with her cousin. Perhaps he was here to see Artemis. Both were logical conclusions. Pausing for a moment, he considered the Cadaverini's involvement with the families around them. He couldn't remember there being any suspicious movement with them and the Ferdinands. Kraus would know more about the movements of the Ferdinands than he did, but he was busy with something. He'd have to just leave it be and trust his best judgement.
Walking up to the door, towel ready to give to her, Zeth stopped at the door entrance to see Vaughan sheltering a slightly damp Claves. Adopting a slight smile, he was happy to see that Vaughan was taking his doorman job seriously, and being as hospitable as he could be while he organised himself.
"Sorry about the wait," Zeth said offering the towel, "This house is getting a little crowded. Do you mind if we chat in the laundry at the back of the house?"

"Something like that," Zeth replied, slipping his thumb into the apron casually, "If you call accepting a dare as losing a bet. I guess it sort of is since there's a certain amount of gambling involved." Grinning as she approached, it seemed that his outfit wasn't going to phase her too much. Sometimes he preferred the company of those in the industry for this reason. Dressing like this didn't bother him the slightest. People making a big deal about it annoyed him some what.
"Follow me," Zeth said putting his hand behind her back and leading the way down the hall. Vaughan closed up the umbrella and stood by he sword and gun. Letting out a sigh, Vaughan rolled his eyes,
"I wonder if it's Zeth. When ever he's around, things get interesting for some reason..."

Suddenly, Vera felt Cara grab her arm and drag her somewhere. Of course, she was still very confused.
After getting over the shock Vera got from Cara suddenly dragging her away, she noticed that Alex was also being dragged along as well. Noticing this, she gave Alex a confused look and then decided that speaking would probably be more useful in this situation.
"What's going on?" She asked.

Tiffany inclined her head, considering Phoenix's advice. "The question will be whether he feels he still wishes to know me, let alone protect me. As for cutting my ties..."
She trailed off momentarily, knowing that her motivation would make no sense without what she was going to say next.

"Heheh, you don't know me very well then," Zeth grinned, leading Claves down the hall, "Poker is the most famous version of Truth or dare out there, and I am one of the best at it." Letting out a brief cackle boldly, he had his laugh only a moment before he stopped it in it's tracks and frowned. He was acting like his father again. It was funny how the further he tried to walk away from his family, the more like them he became.
Stopping inside the laundry, Zeth opened a window, and lit a cigarette. Sitting beside the window, he took a puff and let it out slowly. Could've been having this with Vaughan if only that guy wasn't so serious about his job. Kraus had that effect on people though. Maybe later when the door guy turned up.... finally. Damn chippies. You pay them a premium and they're still late.
Jumping up to sit on Phoenix's drier, Zeth lent on the window frame casually as he smoked, "So, I'll cut to the chase, Claves. You're too smart to enter a house for no reason if the Dragon is protecting it, so I'm going to take a long shot and assume that you're here to have a social visit with one of the Wrights." Zeth paused for a moment, adopting a half grin, "After all, even if you did know who was in this house, you're also too smart to make an enemy out of me."
Pausing for effect, Zeth lightened his tone, tapping off the ashes of his cigarette, "Because of this assumption, I've let you in the house." Poising the cigarette in hand, Zeth glanced up at her, "That all sound about right to you so far, Claves?"
((Sorry- what's this Carini thing? I'm not actually a lawyer so I don't know the legal side of all of that XD ))

Clicking his mind back into reality, Claves was still there, probably wondering what the big deal was about. Time to regulate.
"In any case," Zeth said, trying to make it look like the long pause was on purpose again, "We have some adult guests in this house which are also here for a similar reason to you. All here to relax." Taking another puff of smoke, Zeth glanced aside, "Some here are from other families. I don't believe there should be any issues, unless you've broken a few bridges that haven't mattered yet." Raising an expecting eyebrow at Claves, perhaps this was an interesting way of keeping up with gossip this... gathering of strangers.
((I assume that Zeth's meeting with Claves will take a few minutes. Hopefully Tiffany doesn't mind waiting :) ))

"I'm sure Zeth would still want to know you," Phoenix smiled, "Your position doesn't hurt his. If you were to go against him directly however..." Phoenix glanced aside. He didn't want to think what incurring Zeth's wrath would be like. He had FAR too many resources, and knowledge. Turning back to Tiffany, Phoenix smiled again, "To be honest, I don't know much about the criminal underground. I use to get teh odd case with dodgy activity, there was the Cadaverini, and a few other families I've had run ins with, but the Carini I don't know much of." Stroking his chin thoughtfully, Phoenix's brows narrowed, "Tell me about it. And..." Noticing that Zeth seemed preoccupied... possibly with the phone call he got, Phoenix turned to the kitchen, "Perhaps I can make you something? An OJ? Water? Soft drink?"

Zeth smirked, closing his eyes, "He's harmless in any case. Letting off a bit of steam hurt no one."
Opening his eyes, Zeth tapped the ash off his cigarette, and took another puff of smoke as he contemplated his wording now his mind wasn't racing around in madness. The party had got to him a little. Something felt like it was going on in the works and he didn't know what just yet. He had a nagging suspicion in the back of his mind... inconsistencies around himself trying to drag his attention. He needed to block it out and start focusing on one thing at a time.
"The situation in the kitchen, is how should I say... delicate," Zeth replied, "There are people in this house that don't wish their names to be mentioned outside of this house as being here as there is a large investigation going on right now that will hopefully take down the Ferdinands for good." Sitting to and upright, Zeth dipped his voice as he leaned over his legs, closer to Claves, "It is critical that the names of those attending this gathering are not passed around the criminal underground. Specially Alexander Kraus' name." Leaning back upright again, Zeth pushed his glasses back up his nose, "He'd appreciate it I'm sure if his name wasn't mentioned outside of this event. Miss Tiffany has also asked for discretion to be used on her name regarding this event. Otherwise, have fun!" Pausing, Zeth raised a curious brow, "You didn't bring any stronger than Wrights 'grape juice' with you, did you?"
((As for the Ferdinands- up to you if they're enemies of the Cadaverini, or just someone in the background. They're VERY unlikely to be allied. They're a new crime syndicate that rose to power too fast and are trying to over throw the old hands like the Abitonara.))

She gave Zeth a serious look. "Listen, Skunk. If Kraus thinks he knows how to take down the Ferdinands, more power to him. Hell, I'm all for getting rid of those @$$holes. But tell him to leave me out of it. Don Bruto doesn't like the Ferdinands any more than anyone else, but if it comes down to a crime war, it's not going to be his fault, capisce?"
She paused to collect herself. "Man, I feel tense. Alright, I promise to keep Kraus and Tiffany's whereabouts on a need-to-know basis. And sorry to disappoint, but I didn't bring anything with me. I suggest asking Wright about the tea Viola sent him as thanks for taming the Tiger. That might have a bit of a kick."
Of course, she was joking. She hoped getting a rise out of Zeth would help take the edge off.

Leaning forward again, Zeth raised a brow, "Claves, there WILL be a war, because if there isn't, there will not longer be any criminal organisation. These guys have their tendrils in every police department in California. I have been keeping a very close eye on everyone, and I can tell you now that if we don't do something now and fast it will turn into something FAR bloodier than we're making it now. Don Bruto can keep his hands clean if he wants, but there's going to be blood. And I don't mean the red kind." Zeth's eyes lit up wildly in glee as he thought of those that would get caught up in this mess. So many low lifes that he otherwise couldn't touch, LEGALLY being sent to jail. It made his heart race in excitement.
Getting off the drier, Zeth took one last puff of the cigarette and flicked the butt out the window. It was kind of refreshing talking to someone that fully understood the importance of what he was doing. Clearing Kristoph's name of 1st degree murder was a critical thing to do. If things screwed up now, then the Ferdinands could cover the case up forever. This was their last chance.
'This is what you get for trying to poison the justice system,' Zeth thought to himself for a moment, before looking to Claves once more.
"I appreciate your cooperation on this," Zeth smirked, "IF word got out that Kraus was at the same party as his client, then doubt will shadow over his current case, the one we're taking the Ferdinands down with... legally. As for the tea," Zeth adopted a sly grin, dipping his voice, "Only if you can make it like she can. Viola's tea is to die for." Suddenly bursting out into a loud laugh, it felt good to feel a little crazy. All this serious talk was wearing him down.
((Um... It has been meantioned in the past that Viola would make an interesting g/f for Zeth. He'd love Viola's 'Is the tea poisoned' game XD We can make it canon that she's an ex if you want. A month long one or something short. Probably so he could investigate the Cadaverinis for something without them knowing. That's the sort of thing he'd do.))

Although Claves was a little intimidated by Zeth's bold premonition about the Ferdinands, she couldn't help but snicker when he mentioned Viola's tea. It seemed as though her ploy to lighten the mood worked.
"Some things never change, huh Skunk?" she said. "Sorry, but I don't have Viola's *ahem* magic touch when it comes to cooking."
She got up from leaning on the wall and stretched herself out. "So, are we done here? 'Cause I really need to take a load off. You should know by now that I'm not here to cause trouble, nor do I want any."

Hopefully bribing actually worked when talking to a true Capo. She knew what having a favour mean, and having one owed by him hopefully held some weight.
Leading them back into the dining room, Zeth glanced around and noticed Tiffany still empty handed. 'Wrighto, you terrible host. Couldn't you see I was busy?' Sighing, Zeth bolted over to the kitchen, and poured a glass of what he hoped wasn't genetically modified orange juice, and something slightly higher in quality.
Bringing it back, he offered the glass to Tiffany. "One cold drink, holding the grape juice," He grinned.

Artemis looked up from her pondering and recoiled in surprise, nearly dropping her contact lens.
"Claves? What are you doing here?" she asked as she put her lens back in.
"Well, that's a fine way to greet your best friend." said Claves with mock indignation.
"S-sorry." said Artemis. "It's just that, you said you couldn't make it."
"I changed my mind. Figured I needed some R&R." said Claves.
"Well, I'm very glad you could come, Claves." said Artemis with a warm smile. "Oh, forgive my manner."
She then turned back to Audrey.
"Ms. Lincolns, this is Claves. She's a childhood friend of mine." said Artemis. "Claves, this is Audrey Lincolns. She's a psychologist, and a fellow fan of Troupe Gramarye."
"Pleasure is all mine, Ms. Lincolns." said Claves, extending her hand.
