Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva.

My, where do I begin with this?
IT WAS THE MOST FUCKING AWESOME MOVIE I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE

I mean, it had EVERYTHING

A detective PUNCHING SHARKS
NINJAS
GIANT ROBOTS
EMMY KICKING ASS
DEPORTATION NINJAS
LAYTON KICKING ASS
EMMY KICKING WOLVES RIGHT IN THE KISSER
PUZZLES
SWORDFIGHTS ON TOP OF GIANT ENEMY CRAB ROBOTS

and the best of all, it does a very well job referencing the games, heck even Stachenscarfen was there.

I really REALLY Loved this movie

But....but the plotholes....

If he can afford to build a giant enemy crab robot he can afford an underwater expedition to salvage what he was looking for in the first place.

HE EVEN HAS SUBMARINES!

I just watched The Shawshank Redemption for my first time, and I have to say it was a pretty excellent film. Great cinematography and very well edited. I really enjoyed it, and personally, I can't think of any ways it could have been improved at all. It definitely should have beat out Forrest Gump at the Oscars, at least in some regards.

It's gotta be at least a 98%.

Not much of it to be found in the book, but very entertaining.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 2!
Spoiler:
Yeah okay, i don't go to the movies too much but 6/10 maybe, i really enjoy seeing these movies come to life, and i know it's impossible to fit every element of the book in there. But it is really necessary for RonXHermione and HarryXGinny to kiss in the middle of the chaos? it's war! on the upside of things. I knew this movie was going to be all out war... and i really enjoyed seeing things blow up on big screen. I am glad however, that they kept the 19 years later scene! My favorite scenes are so many often times cut, so i was quite happy to see that.

Underworld Awakening in 3D:
4/10 - spectacularly mediocre. The 3D was pretty neat, I'll admit, but I would've preferred it without, and there were so many action shots in slooooow motion to show off the 3D, which pissed me off. Seriously, all the time and effort that goes into making 3D movies look cool could be put to use making the movie actually good (hurr hurr, can you tell I don't like 3D yet?). Aside from that, the plot was meh and it ended suddenly with practically no lead-up, and the set-up for the sequel was painfully obvious. Also, Sexy Young Vampire Guy played the dickhead holiday rep in the Inbetweeners and I could only imagine him as that so I couldn't take anything he said seriously. Just puttin' that out there.

finally seen the movie(yep, took a little longer) and I dunno...not saying it's the worst (most def better than Castle in the Sky and Howl) but I was kinda dissapointed after all the hype
and the English subs(hard coded) that were on were totally off, sometimes they changed the meaning and they added a lot of lines that weren't even said..pretty annoying but I tried not to focus on that

Lupin III: Blood Seal - Eternal Mermaid

I've always found the Lupin cast endearing, especially Jigen. Blood Seal - Eternal Mermaid isn't one of their best adventures but it's by no means a bad film. The well-made action scenes and the humour more or less make up for the generic and predictable plot. Then again, Lupin III has always been your average Indiana Jones-esque adventure story. Music is top-notch as usual. Animation makes it feel like a Hayao Miyazaki film.

7/10

Into the Wild

One of my old favorites, and the film that made me interested in the thought of traveling alone.

The Breakfast Club

Truly one of the best movies I have ever witnessed. Filled with 80's goodness, really funny moments and possibly the most memorable dance scene in a movie yet. I'm going to wait a few years before I watch it again, so that I can enjoy it to the fullest extent I can.

Great action. Takes some time to pick up but when it does it surely does. Be prepared to laugh a lot though. It's not pegged as a comedy but there are some incredibly humorous moments in addition to the dramatic, tragedic, and actiony ones.

Agreed. I do need to see it again because I was really tired during a lot of the action and drama.
I was prepared to laugh because it a Joss Whedon movie, but I didn't expect to laugh THAT much. Seriously, it hilarious.
Also, STAY AFTER THE CREDITS. There is only 1 post-credits scene worldwide, which is the important one, but in America, there is a second one after the first one which is just a little joke.

Your standard coming of age story but despite that, I still enjoyed it. The father-son relationship between Miyagi and Daniel was so nice and good to watch.

Captain America: 7/10
Really enjoyable flick. I never got bored and just loved the action and the little bits of comedy. The end was a bit disappointing but it's good set-up for The Avengers (which I've not watched yet btw) and Captain America 2.

Supriiiise, guess who just watched the Avengers? ME ME ME~

I'll leave a non-spoilery review here:
It was a great mother's day event because my mom absolutely loved the movie, and so did the rest of the family.
The comedic timing was brilliant! It's those kind of jokes that leave you laughing way after the joke is over, and you have to restrain yourself from leaning over to the person next to you and going, "lololol did you hear that? [quotes exact same thing the character said 30 seconds ago]."
And as TV Tropes puts it, they should basically change their trope to Tony Stark Says Something Funny, because everything that came out of his mouth was delicious snark. Not to mention the rest of their group gets an added dose of snark.
All in all, I definitely recommend it, though you should definitely have seen all the previous movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (though I never watched The Incredible Hulk all the way through and I don't think I missed anything major).

9.5/10? 10/10? I dunno, I don't like numbers. AWESOME/10

A View To A Kill: 6/10

So I've been wanting to get into James Bond for a while now but didn't own any of the DVDs and ITV only shows the movies on Saturdays (as I learned when there was half an hour left of Doctor No. ¬¬). I know this was a bad one to start with but my grandad owned it so I knew I could watch it easily. So I borrowed it off him. And I know, I know; my verdict probably seems to high for this. But I really enjoyed the movie. Sure, Moore has definitely gotten to old for the role by then but even so, it was fun. Walken is still a brilliant actor who makes every role his own and the story was simple but cool. I'd probably have given it a 5/10 if it weren't for Walken because he does make the movie far better. While I can't compare it to other Bond movies; I do feel its underrated.

I finally saw "In Bruges".

Let me say this. If you haven't seen "In Bruges", go watch it now. It is one of the best dark comedies to come out in the last ten years. Both Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell put out some outstanding performances, and the writing is sharp and funny.

Seriously, go watch it.

Now.
