Or maybe.... INTRODUCE A NEW ROMANTIC INTEREST FOR LUIGI!
I was never a fan of Daisy to begin with. She can have Waluigi instead.

Or who knows, maybe we should be careful what we wish for. Sometimes when fanservice (that isn't of the perverted kind) is put into...anything...It sometimes ruins things.

Case in point, when kissing up to the demands of the fans destroys artistic vision...Things can get ugly.

Don't take my objection too seriously. ^^;

It was just for fun, I know others who don't like and/or perfer Waluigi/Daisy, I'm cool with it because romance isn't really important in the Mario series.

Plus I always wanted to do that.

Daisy would wreck your face for saying that, only thing Waluigi deserves is a main villain role.

Well.... Both of you are dumb for not sharing the same opinion of:

Silly girl. Background characters don't simply get to be main characters. Even Luigi has proven that he's too good for Daisy.
Daisy has poor fashion sense and no personality to warrant an interest in Mario fans to clamor for a game centered around Daisy. It's much too late for the wannabe princess to get a game now. She's been nothing but a side character in many of the Mario Party-esque games for years, and it looks that's where she'll stay.

And I'm completely okay with this.

That's what I've been wondering about. Ghibli may be good with movies and series but it doesn't mean that it will work flawlessly in other mediums, I don't want to blindly try out the game just for the art alone and ignore its flaws if it has any. :shoe:

I'm a bit the same, I got to the forest and the puppet party member and I had to pause, I think some of the music bugged me. It's a shame as I think it must get better and I probably just found a new game that distracted me entirely.

Actually, the one thing I did really like about SMRPG was the soundtrack. Lots of good and memorable tunes.

Go ahead, blame me. See how I care!
I've been meaning to look into LM2 as well. But I dunno if I like the mission structure I've heard about. Also the lack of themed ghosts inhabiting the mansions loses some appeal since I really liked that part of the first game.

I'd like to point out that Daisy was the main Princess being rescued in Super Mario Land, ages ago as Mario's first foray on the Game Boy. She's a freaking pioneer in main mario games.

Besides handwaving a character's presence because of 'sidegames' isn't really fair since cumulatively they sell FAR more than a standard Mario game therefore more presence by electing to keep these characters in.

I was thinking exactly the same thing - Daisy used to be a main character. Super Mario Land was the first Mario game I played. ^^

I've always preferred Daisy to Peach, so I'm all for her having another main part in a game, although I'd like to think that Daisy hasn't had many main parts in the games because she is too smart to get captured by anyone.

Yeah I addressed her being a main character in one game. Don't take this too seriously since I'm just aggressively voicing my opinion of disliking Daisy.

From the reviews I've read, there are no longer ghosts that represent the people that used to live in the mansions. I.E: No fat ghost eating at a table, no baby in the crib.

I just beat Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Disappointed at the lack of themed ghosts, but it's nice to see that these ghosts are enjoying their afterlife... I give the game a 9.5 out of 10. Also, I thought Waluigi was completely stupid and useless before reading Brawl in the Family. Now I appreciate his awesomeness. I still prefer Wario, though.

Wow! So Nintendo CAN use side characters from party and sports games in their main stream titles?

Now how about they need to add in Daisy while they're at it?

I highly recommend it. Had lots of fun. But I don't suggest trying to complete the ScareScraper Ghosts thing because more often than not, regular ghosts appear instead of special ghosts.

Also, if Waluigi were to get a game of his own, what style would it be? Platformer? Puzzler? RPG?

On the bright side I'm trying to think of ideas for a Luigi/Daisy sig. Ever since I made my lovely Klavier/Franziska sig I wanted to make more signatures with some quotes I conjure up.

By game of his own I sort of meant as a major villain.

But hell why not.

Give me a Wario and Waluigi RPG game in the same vein as the Mario and Luigi series.

Ooh, I really like the idea of Waluigi having his own game - I don't know a thing about his character. For that reason I would like to see him in a RPG. I could just imagine some funny dialogue between him and Wario. xD
