However, I know more about the history of Nintendo then any of my friends, despite being born near the end of the 16 bit era.

We're soulmates. <3

Except I don't consider myself a "nerd", and if I did, the true nerds would probably burn me alive for saying it. However, I have a "nerd side" of me that I (unlike many people like me) accept and show.

I'm sorry, I don't swing that way. Despite my female avatar, I'm actually a guy.

That's ok, I'm more into animals actually

So, I just went to Aika Village in New Leaf's Dream Suite. Whoever made that place should work on horror games, this is bloody creepy, and it's in Animal Crossing of all things.

Spoiler:
Not helped at all that the main doll in New Leaf looks like the Asuka doll from Evangelion. That bloody Asuka doll...

I went to college in Wisconsin. They import their winter from Russia. For the most part, though, it didn't get to me. Granted, I didn't like it when it got windy and snow got blown in my face, and slipping on ice could be unpleasant, but that was pretty much it. The temperature was only a problem for me when it dipped into the single digits (less than -12.222222...°C), but otherwise, I could handle it as long as I had enough layers on. As I often say, you can always put on more layers, but there's only so much you can take off without getting fined for indecent exposure.

Still, when you're used to warm temperatures, I can understand eight degrees being an unwelcome change (especially if you're talking Fahrenheit, which I'm pretty sure isn't used in Brazil).

What drives me nuts is the heat, especially when humidity gets added to the mix. Thanks to the way American school years are structured, I never had to endure Wisconsin's summer, but I got a taste of it in late spring and early fall. My aversion to wearing short-sleeved clothes can only excuse so much when the temperature gets above ninety (33.333333...°C).

You wanna talk about cold? I'm from Canada, where our temperatures during the winter can get down to negative 20 Celsius. Also, is America the only country that DOESN'T use metric? It's much easier to understand and calculate than imperial.

Plus, metric is so much more flattering to vain people.
In Germany, people are, like, 60 kg.
In America, people are something like 120 pounds.
That sounds incredibly large to me. Even if someone says a wrestler weighs 200 pounds and is muscular, I still think it's a fat guy cause it sounds terribly fat...

And hey, Germany can get -20°C at times, too. Almost 30 years ago, there was a winter that was almost -30°C!
My mom wore several layers and a veil when she went to work.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the scale, it's Celsius. Right now we're at 10ºC, which is still blatantly cold...

Really? I kinda like heat, especially when it's summer vacations and such, but there's a limit to everything - there was a summer in which we reached like 40ºC... that was a little bit troublesome, especially at night when you had to sleep with 33ºC in your face.

Lately my mom has been saying it's too hot and I keep on saying, "It's not that bad."

I'm used to humid weather, and summer is my favorite season anyway...It's the season of miracles.

That's what really drives me nuts when it gets too hot. When I'm warm even without any blankets, going to sleep can be a real pain in the neck. I suppose I should be thankful I've trained the cats not to sleep on my bed when I'm in it; in that kind of heat, I'd rather not have anything warm near me, even if it's soft and beautiful.

Uhh no? Why would I do that? I'm just saying that I stay from any articles regarding the things I'm keeping spoiler-free. I lurk on NeoGaf, but I don't visit any threads that talk about games I don't have yet.

I've always been good at avoiding spoilers by keeping myself ignorant and alienated :D also no one but me likes PW on my Facebook circle and I don't follow any Ace Attorney-related profiles on Facebook or Twitter, so my only news source are either C-R subforums or my brother, and I am througly ignoring them.

Haven't checked Swapnote in a whiles even though I've gotten the blue light too. Been getting mainly notes with screenshots from Animal Crossing, and I can't relate to the game since I don't have it.

Yeah. A lot of 'em from Emiko, Hylian, and I think Lucy. I wish I could send photos of my Animal Crossing progress, but the Swapnote data on my Animal Crossing SD Card won't let me! :larry:

So now I gotta start writing a whole bunch of notes just to get my progress back up and get that feature back.

...By the way, where's my twin been? She hasn't been on Facebook or C-R in a while, and she said something 'bout an "Internet hiatus." Is it 'cause of Dual Destinies spoilers or something? :eh?:

Perhaps or she reconsidered her 'I'm out of CR' option xP

Though I think a fair few folks mentioned leaving the internet when DD came out for a bit, though it's not much of a worry CR here seems to have an effective way of handling it. Every case gets it's own thread and you are clearly warned of spoilers if you go in :garyuu: all nice an orderly

Well, if she did reconsider then she wouldn't have left Facebook too...and she would've at least not let me hanging and wondering what's going on. :yuusaku:

As for me I think there are ways you can avoid DD spoilers without completely going away from the Internet. Although, I'll admit...I'm a little guilty of reading some of the spoilers. And for better or for worse, I won't tell you, but let's just say it's given me a slightly clearer image of what this game is all about.

Heheh! Why the picture of the Thing?
