You should its a really good anime. A lot of the stuff from Attack on Titan is abit based from Gantz in my opinion, thats why I like attack on titan. Its mostly Action,horror,sci-fi, and thriller. Here is a link to its wiki page so you can get some background knowledge on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gantz

Irresponsible Captain Tylor

It's about a lazy guy who somehow decides joining the space military is the quickest way to an easy life (right when said military is on the verge of war with an opposing galactic empire, mind.) Through ridiculous circumstances, he seemingly bumbles his way right into becoming the captain of his very own starship, complete with a ragtag misfit crew. "Seemingly," because, as several characters throughout the series note, it's hard to tell whether Tylor is just the luckiest idiot ever or an unfathomable genius.

Good stuff. Now I just need to get the OAVs...

Just watched some old clips of Legends of the Hidden Temple. Talk about a huge burst of nostalgia. I always cheered for the Red Jaguars and Blue Barracudas. I love Olmec.

What's funny is I remember as a child, before they started displaying the temple map, I had memorized the temple layout and would doodle the layout whenever the show came on to keep track of the teams. Looking back on it now, I realize how weird of a kid I was and how obsessed with the show I was.

I remember seeing that show on "The '90s Are All That" if you wanna watch it again. They show it at night's on TeenNick depending on what channel it is on from your provider.

That'd be great if I had access to it, but I don't. I did have to face palm the other day when I mentioned Guts to my little brother and he went and claimed not knowing what it was. Then not a minute later, he asks me what that Nickelodeon game show was where the they had three teams and they had to climb up a colorful mountain. What's sad is he grew up on that show with me...

That sucks. Maybe I could find a link to a site which has the episodes, if you want. Well you really can't blame him because sometimes we can forget certain parts from shows that we haven't see in a while. I know I have. :sillytrucy:

My friend loved that film he got us all round to watch it. Sadly I found it a bit forgettable. Then we watched the Wolves of Kromer which was apparently a big analogy for homosexuality as he insisted and it was a bit more entertaining.

I watched five reviews about Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. Matthew did a good job going in-depth on the things and pointing out flaws, but also good things. Although some of the stuff he pointed out felt wrong to me, mostly because those were not problems or flaws. But I also felt he didn't mention some things that were flaws.

I love all those games, my childhood has always circulated around the Zelda series especially "Link to the past" and "Ocarina of Time". :bellboy:

It's possible he just forgot them. I can play a game and notice a massive flaw and still forget it instantly. I do it quite often, actually.

It's why I'm no good when it comes to debates about video games or movies. :/

Reviews usually don't really help as much since everyone has there own opinion and tastes on games. Sometimes we rarely see flaws because we enjoy the game and don't really see any, but for people who don't like a game they will always find some sort of flaw. The human mind plays tricks on all of us.

I couldn't care less about reviews. I'd rather go by my own opinions than any other opinion when it comes to games, movies, t.v. shows, etc. If I like it, I like it. If I don't, I don't. Simple. That's just how I think on the matter.

I'm all for forming my own opinion as well. When somebody asks me if they'd like this or that game, I'd tell them how I feel about it, but also mention that they might have a different experience when playing. (The thing I keep telling PappinAce, so he will freaking stop telling me who want to play the game that "the game is crap and anyone who plays it is crap, too" not in those words, but that's what he means!)

I just felt like looking at some reviews. Reason I chose to play Skyward was because of KWing's review. Sure he made everything sound positive and didn't mention a few things, but it did get the essence of the game. And with Matthew I was just interested in what his opinion on the games is. (I just thought he would've mentioned a bit more how Zant is a total joke)

Sometimes reviews are helpful, like for example I'm on the borderline between wanting a game or not, the review if its good enough would convince me to play it since it gives you that little push. Zant was pretty much a push over to me when I beat him. :sassy:

Isn't that the one based off a visual novel where the girls are all somehow Otaku-ish and the main girl looks like Miki from Idolm@ster and she is the not-really-blood-related sister of the hero?

Well it's actually based of a non visual novel. Yeah she looks like that but not as slutty lol. Yeah there otaku, mostly the sister is a big Eroge fan which mostly consists of little sisterxBug brother scenario since
Spoiler:
she secretly has a huge crush on her brother
So far it hasn't mentioned anything that she is not blood related, but it could change since I still have 2 episodes left to watch.

I second this. Wait, but I recommended it before, so I'm seconding my own opinion to second yours...I'm thirding this? Squaring this?

Anyway, at a point in Monster where it's incredibly difficult to not watch four or five episodes in a row.

Yeah I didn't like the girl power episode either. ^^; (I guess I hang out with guys too often.)

But I love Evolution because everyone gets an equal amount of character development and Wolverine doesn't hog the spotlight. Unfortunately no matter what X-Men series I still can't learn to like Jean Grey.
