Well it might be graphical differences or not. They did try and de-sexualise the 3DS port where they could after all, Ruto being the prime example I think.

I never thought that Ruto - as child or adult form - could be sexualized. I mean, come on. Who wants diamond-shaped-flat boobs to rub up against? Or even "deflating" Child Zelda's dress. Who the hell thought that those were supposed to be boobs? Guys, that's similar to an empire waistline. It's on the upper body and the fabric is generally really loose, hence why it "puffed out".
And you don't need to be a woman or a clothes-freak to know that.

I think it was more in the original one, she was looked 'too' naked. So they gave her more scales to make it seem like a dress.

Warioware still exists no? Game and Wario was released not that long ago for the Wii U. Warioware might not be in the title but it's got all the characters and the same spirit.

Wasn't aware of that. Then again, I don't pay much attention to Wii U titles when they're not games that I would buy a Wii U for.
Good to know the series still exists, but I'd like a 3DS title please!

I'm here to post yet another highly relevant picture! Today we'll be taking a look at Chrom's potential Final Smash.

The brand new picture today is a new stage on 3DS. Since the 3DS game gets stages from handheld games, I'm guessing this stage is the one that was briefly shown in the E3 trailer.

Image

Sakurai mentioned the adventure mode in his post, so I'm guessing this is the story mode.

Thoughts?

I swore that that was mentioned as well.

Maybe it's for Classic Mode, or something?

Quote:
"Pic of the day. Where am I......?? To be clear, the new Super Smash Bros. games does not feature a story mode like The Subspace Emissary," he wrote.

He said there would be a single player adventure mode, just nothing story driven like Subspace.

I suspect that the picture is depicting an adventure mode since he mentions it today.

Sakurai stated there wouldn't be another full fledged story like the Subspace Emissary. I don't quite follow his reasoning for that (he claims making big cutscene-heavy adventures is a waste as all they'd all get leaked on youtube). But there will still be the adventure mode, which is where this screen seems to come from.

Well you'd complain about "fighting games don't need a story" anyway if it was. :P

It was an interesting little mode, I certainly didn't mind it and it had some real nice cutscenes.

I'm actually kind of glad we aren't getting an adventure mode quite as massive as subspace emissary. It had many levels but they all felt bland to me compared to the few that were in Melee's adventure mode. I'm thinking something right in between Melee's and Brawl's amount of levels would be perfect.

I actually liked most of SSE, it just got really dragged out near the end where they shoved you into that ridiculously huge maze to rescue all the characters. Everything before that I enjoyed, though. The character interactions were the best.

Yeah of course, when any two characters together there has to be some kinda interaction. I like the Meta-Knight, Lucario and Snake arc quite a bit. Fox Falco and Diddy got good moments too.

Mmm...I'd rather a different entrant than that. Isaac from Golden Sun come on!

Also today on my Wii U's plaza (the screen that shows miiverse posts from the start) I saw the Smash Bros Logo and the option to view it on the e-shop. Which I tried but I got an error.

Perhaps we'll have a demo soon?

I fail to see it that way. 8 new characters, new stages, game fixes all for just 40 bucks? Money well spent considering I still play the game.

Anyways, I'd rather not see any more non-Nintendo IP characters unless they're iconic to warrant an appearance. Let's face it, Phoenix is nowhere near the iconic status that Megaman and Sonic have in the industry.

So what if he isn't, neither is Pit from "Kid Icarus" or Ike from "Fire Emblem", but they were still in SSBB so why can't Wright be added as well since he is still part of Nintendo. Megaman and Sonic are so played out so thats why it would be dumb to even put them in the game plus Sonic was in SSBB.

Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem are properties of Nintendo, and Smash Bros is technically a fighting game where the majority of the cast come from IPs of Nintendo. Phoenix is a property that belongs to Capcom which is why he was in UMVC3.

Even if the majority are IPs from Nintendo it still doesn't matter if they would add Wright. Even if he belongs to Capcom it shouldn't be an excuse not to have him in Smash. Just look at Sonic and Snake, they aren't part of nintendo but they still were added in SSBB.

Spectator Mode, Game fixes and Characters can all be DLC. Actually, they should be DLC, it would make more sense than, shortly after bringing out a game saying, "Hey! You know that game you bought? Well screw you, we're bringing out a NEW VERSION of the game for another full price, although it overall has not all that much new stuff that we could just allow you to download it to upgrade your owned game."

By the way, Marvel V Capcom isn't the only one doing that. Namco is kind of a dick, bringing out a game and, shortly after, announcing the PS3 version of the game - Vesperia, Graces, even Xillia. (And by god, I think I would've preferred Graces a bit more, had I not had a version with the damn F Arc in it)
And even DoA5 Ultimate. I don't need Ultimate, there was no need to bring out Ultimate. If they want people to play as Jack, Ein or Leon - aside from answering why the fuck Ein and Leon, staples to the rooster, were not in from the beginning - give them to us as DLC. They already gave us stages and outfits as DLC.

Oh and game fixing DLC would be free.
