I'm listing every reminiscence in all Ace Attorney games. Tell me, which in your opinion is the most saddest and heartbreaking.
My choice is The Fire Carves Scars. Truly sad and sorrowful fate. Also, a beautiful melody. It's one of those moments when you sympathize the killer.

:maya: True Evening of Grief
:will: Light and Shadow at the Film Studio
:gregory: The DL-6 Incident
:phoenix: Classroom Trial
:jake: The SL-9 Incident

:grey: The Fire Carves Scars
:acro: True Pain
:adrian: Steel Samurai's Ballad

:zenitora: What the Others Have Seen
:chinami: Viewing the Hazy Bridge and Its Scenery
:godot: The Bitter Taste of Truth

:odoroki: A Hurt Kitsune
:minuki: A Fate Smeared By Tricks and Gadgets
:hobohodo: Forgotten Legend

:maggy: Doubted People
:uramidn: False Relations
:edgeworth: The KG-8 Incident
:sadshoe: Torn Apart Countries

(P.S. Some melodies don't match smilies in front of them because of lacking such.)

The Fire Carves Scars is my second favourite - it really brings out emotions.

The DL-6 Incident comes on top though. Mainly due to nostalgia.

It's really hard to say. Each one has their own unique way of making my heart feel heavy. However...I think "The Fire Carves Scars" and "The Bitter Taste of Truth" have to be some of my favorites.
...What is this "normal" you speak of? It sounds dangerous.

The DL-6 Incident.
It's just such a perfect thing to listen to when you're down... I almost wanna call it "the perfect music to cut wrists to". XD

I can't believe nobody has made this topic before. I'll make a count down for mine.

#7) The Steel Samurai's Ballad - I like this sad toned version of the Steel Samurai theme. It fits the atmosphere of case 2-4. Sadly I can't listen to this song too long without feeling sad.

#6) The SL-9 Incident - To me this is more calming than sad, but I like it. It fits the mysteries not yet solved from the SL-9 incident.

#5) Forgotten Legend - This music track is the epitome of sad and creepy, I guess to fit Phoenix and Kristoph's relationship.

#4) True Evening of Grief - This song playing when Maya saved Phoenix made me close to tears. It makes me think of grief like the title suggests.

#3) True Pain - This song is simplistic but I think it's beautiful and expresses unavoidable pain. This music + Acro's backstory makes my eyes burn like crazy.

#2) The Bitter Taste of Truth - Probably one of the only things I liked about case 3-5. This track is just so beautiful to me.

And lastly...*drumroll*

#1) What the Others Have Seen - Possibly the saddest track in the series with True Pain being in close second. I remember when this track would play during case 3-3 I would just stop playing and listen to the music for a few minutes.

The Bitter Taste of the Truth is #1, with Forgotten Legend close behind.

Definitely, Viewing the Hazy Bridge and Its Scenery. :javado: That was one of my favorite cases from all of the games, and I really like the song, because it helped give that case a lot of emotion. :onamida:

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I also really like the Classroom Trial. It is definitely my second favorite.

Forgotten Legend due to feeling really sad for :hobohodo:, probably followed by The Bitter Taste of Truth. DL-6 Incident is another close one. I loved Edgeworth's backstory.

Light and Shadow at the Film Studio is my favourite Reminiscence theme, arguably my favourite theme in the series. I don't know why, I just really love it. I especially get excited when they play it outside 1-3. There was one or two instances of that, but I can't remember specifically when.

Beyond that, I also love A Fate Smeared by Tricks and Gadgets-- it carries a lot of weight, and it just sounds so lonely.

True Evening of Grief is heartbreakingly beautiful.

Shadow on Dusky Bridge is really good, and the it becomes awesome at 1:20.

Wandering Heart grew on me after awhile, too.
