All right. Cold, which weapon do you want Dorran to have equipped? I might have the Snake take another swig of that Vulnerary, but if I decide for her to attack Dorran instead, I need to know what weapon Dorran will counterattack with.

bronze axe...unfortunarely my accuracys against that snake is is too low to be using the hand axe. :P

All right. It's now the enemy's turn. The Snake regains 3 HP from the fort, giving her 19/32 HP as her transform gauge drops to 7. She attacks Dorran. Her first attack hits, doing 4 points of damage and resetting the amount of time before the poison wears off. Dorran's counterattack misses. The Snake's second attack is a critical hit, doing 12 points of damage. Dorran is left with 5/21 HP. He gets 1 EXP for surviving. In addition, the Snake's transform gauge drops to 3 from the fight. When the enemy's turn ends, Dorran suffers an additional 4 points of damage from poison, but recovers 2 from the fort, leaving him with 3/21 HP. Jade's transform gauge rises to 29. Cold, it's now your turn. As I pointed out, Dorran has 3/21 HP and is poisoned. He's also carrying Lucius.

thank goodness i leveled and am on a fort (though sad i didn't get a hit on him likely because the fort) because im not sure id have lived otherwise >_>;;;

Snakes' transform gauges fill faster than those of any other Laguz at 15 for each combat and 10 for each turn. The drawback is that they also deplete faster at 4 for each combat and 5 for each turn.

I just noticed that I made a mistake in Jade's earlier combat calculation. I forgot to account for the +10 to Hit she got from being next to Dorran. That +10 would have raised her accuracy to 100, guaranteeing a hit. Said hit would have done exactly enough damage to kill the Snake.

I'd like everyone's opinion. Should I retroactively correct my mistake and give Jade the kill, or would you rather carry on the fight as though I had calculated that combat correctly?

Technically, the carrying over of experience hasn't been formally decided on. I'm okay with it, but with one exception: my memory is that Jade mentioned having no combat experience in the narrative thread.
