Resonance in Terror is pretty good. Nothing mindblowing but a solid 7 - 8 out of 10.

Ugh mahouka made me cringe every episode (so I stopped after a few). The protagonist was ok; pretty smart, the underdog and pretty bad-ass. It's just that 90% of the females is portrayed retardedly towards the protagonist in this anime (like most of these harem type anime) and the entire cast is 90% female.

Just finished the Jojo OVA today. Think I might have been turned around and switched from the 2000 OVA to the 1993 OVA halfway through (You can tell by Joseph's amazing beard) but man what a ride. Jotaro might not care about much but damn when you tick him off ain't nothing on hell or Earth can save you. Also geez the ending got intensely bloody at the end, killing off folks left right and centre. Still suppose it makes Dio a pretty good villain considering how delightfully sinister he is.

Though I hear this series spans generations so I feel I've only cracked the tip of the iceberg but I've got no idea how I would see any of those past generations, perhaps they ain't even anime and have been left in manga.

Also D'arby the Gambler is pretty damn cool.

Started Watching Psycho-Pass. I'm getting into it! I'm beginning to really like noitaminA's anime's. I do feel bad for all the havoc Akane's thrown into. She's like the only innocent character in the whole show!

I recently finished watching the first season (second season is airing weekly now yay!) and I can say with confidence: It's a great anime and it will only get better with each episode.

Started watching the Parasyte anime, since the first episode seemed to be extremely well received by reviewers. Disappointed to find it was actually extremely boring, not to mention used heaps of overused anime tropes. Hopefully it'll get better as it goes on.

It's very good, I can recommend the anime, but the manga is not too bad itself. I'd totally love to read the orginal light novel, because I find everything fascinating related to Another.

Just finished watching Season 13 of Project Runway, so I'm left with The Walking Dead, The Good Wife, Doctor Who and The Big Bang Theory. Unfortunately, Big Bang hasn't been up to much lately, so I'm not looking forward to it as much as I used to.

Went ahead and watched the first season of Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. It was... odd, to say the least. The mythology gags are pretty good but the rest feels extremely bizarre with how serious it gets, and the relationship drama gets old really fast. Think I can safely say the second season is much better than the first, though.

Somewhat relevant, but since it's 2am and I can't sleep, I turned on tv, and saw a show some might know (I've not seen it at all and the contents are not what made me continue watching). It's called "The revolution will be televised". I think it's just where a comedian puts up a pretense of being someone else to get reacts out of the public/someone else. Not my thing, but the one segment I saw was at E3, and him pretending to know about games. Like I said, I didn't care for what was going on, but what I saw behind him was pretty cool. Saw the Phoenix Wright Trilogy, and the logo was just there. For a fan, it stood out like a sore thumb and Phoenix was just there like yeahhhh in his Trilogy art glory :object: Didn't ever imagine to see Phoenix Wright on BBC3, but well...damn.

I should probably go to bed now, though :meekins: That'll do for me.

Continuing my apparently masochistic desires to hate-watch things, I've taken up watching the most recent arc of Sword Art Online II.

I've never been a fan of the show, but side-by-side, SAOII is marginally better than the first. I still hate it, but it's better, and might be the closest I'll ever come to actually enjoying the show outside of making snide remarks at its expense. Currently, it's following the ONE storyline I actually have hopes for, considering the premise is that two new characters get to take the helm in place of the extremely boring invincible protagonist Kirito, whose presence has been a severe drag on the show since the beginning. However, two episodes in and it seems to be going with SAO's usual schtick: Boring, drawn-out scenes, with lots of flashbacks, characters thrown aside, and still managing to worship the protagonist even though we're supposed to have different characters taking the lead.

Good.

Being a fan of David Bowie has lead me to discover Twin Peaks, where he played a minor character in one or two episodes. I've yet to start watching it, but apparently it's a mind-fuckery classic. I'll probably wait until the semester's over so I can really enjoy it.

Watching Game of Thrones from episode 1. Might as well see what all the hype is/was about.

It's probably hyped by people who never heard of Battle Royale (novel or manga or film) before. Or the overall idea that everyone's killing each other.

I'm watching/listening to Krillin Plays Outlast: Whistleblower. Although I already know what happens, having read the entire story.

The idea that everyone is killing each other or the idea that everyone is forced into a situation that requires them to kill each other? Because I'm fairly certain GoT has nothing to do with the latter. From what I've seen, GoT seems to be more about gore, gratuitous nudity, and gory nudity spliced between large amounts of exposition with occasional incest subtext. My friend described the first season as "porn with plot." Not that I'm complaining. Wait, yes I am complaining.

Sounds like someone is confusing Game of Thrones with The Hunger Games.

Hate to disappoint, but the former is more like the Bible meets The Lord of the Rings. With more tits and dragons.

Finally got around to watching Over the Garden Wall. It was good, though not the masterpiece people have been saying it is.
Spoiler:
But did it really need to spend an entire episode in Greg's dream? I get that it would make sense for Greg's mind to be... what Greg's mind is, but everything else did such a great job at adding to the atmosphere of the show; Greg's dream just felt like someone ate too much Smile Dip.

I have trouble sticking to one particular show or series. I've been flitting around Bleach, Death Note, and Doctor Who.

Am I the only one here who would totally watch Steel Samurai if it was a real show?
