Seven gave Saturn an enthusiastic grin. Inwardly she was a little disappointed that there was nothing more to go on but she didn't want him to give up this train of thought.

"So...who was this friend then?" she asked scribbling down a bit more "I'll admit it's sounding a little bit more far fetched and hard to believe it could be used effectively to hide someone given the circumstances...but if you remember anything that would tell us what situation it can be used in it can't hurt to keep an eye out for it. Sounds like it'd be quite a specific situation anyway." she suggested.

Door 9 has bp inside of it again...

Leo speaks louder.

Door 9 has 3 bp behind it. The narrator said so. Guess who we're actively voting into Door 9 right now.

That's right, Seven.

I'm not sure what to do about it to be honest, because if we put Seven in a different group and then saying she can't go through, I just want it on her honor that she doesn't pick up the bp. It's fine that those three will probably be safe from the gallows this round, but I don't want someone wandering around with 2-3 times as much bp as the rest of us.

Also to your accusation that I'm being quiet or whatever, Seven, I'll have you know that I found the knife argument very petty and somewhat uncomfortable, and it left me with a bad impression of the three of you.

Oh sorry if this comes off as confrontational Seven, but you have brought a lot of attention to yourself.

"Very specific," Saturn replied, "However... it's no good. Maybe if we had some lighting controls, we could test to find the exact shade, hue, luminosity... Sorry, just thinking aloud here. To clarify, this costume was meant for a very controlled stage setting, which is pretty obvious if you consider you all can see me just fine right now." Saturn then heard Leo speak about the fact that Seven, who has the BP advantage, is once again going through the door with 3 BP. "Seven, you have to promise, pinky swear, that you won't take the BP item again. Let someone else have a bit of advantage. Remember, unless--God forbid--we happen upon another dead body, someone must be lynched this time..." Saturn shivered. There was no way around it. One of them would have to die this time.

"Hmmm...." Yon said, after having heard Saturn's story about the costume.

"I think there's only one place where you can find backdrops and lights like that." Yon said, after doing some quick thinking.

"...... Door [2]. It's the only logical place where you can find backdrops and lights. After all, the name above Door [2] identified the room behind Door [2] as a backstage." Yon continued. "After all, Saturn, you said your friend did this design on stage, didn't he? It would make sense, since... you know."

"... I can take it." Doctor said. "The BP item, I mean. I think it's a target more than anything else, but... I suppose if someone must be stabbed next round, it should be me. I've lived a rather full life, after all."

Doctor then listened to Yon speak. "That makes a lot of sense."

Seven smile fell from her face to something notably more timid as Leo spoke of his displeasure "I'm sorry if it's bothered you Leo. In honesty I didn't really want to give out accusations or impressions because...I don't really have anything strong enough to say either way but Pigeon was demanding it. In any case I didn't say I was suspicious of you, just that you've not talked much enough for me to have a good read on you either way." she said before giving him what she envisioned was a reassuring thumbs up.

"Besides I like to give folks the benefit of the doubt, innocent until proven guilty and all that." she sang as she dropped her tone to a more serious note. "Though I absolutely have no trouble leaving the BP item alone, I suggested we should go for an option that doesn't put me through the BP door if it makes people more comfortable and they don't take my word." she promised nodding sombrely.

"At the time we didn't know how the BP worked, I didn't think it would be an item, I assumed everyone would get it from simply entering the room and the item would be something else entirely but whatever, now we know how it works I can swear off touching it." she assured them.

Saturn and Yon began to explain more in detail about the circumstance "Well...It's a shame I'd have liked to have examined that room in greater detail but it was a longshot anyway" she shrugged "In any case if any similar equipment comes up in future it'll be a real red light for us." she added putting a positive spin on it with a jaunty snap of her fingers.

"Alternatively..." she paused a moment piecing her thoughts together "If any of the equipment was missing from that room it could possibly be used to replicate the effect elsewhere. I mean...whoever set all this up had access to the technology to make it happen. That's really all that matters provided they can move bits of it." she shrugged before rounding on Doctor.

"Though don't go getting all suicidal and self-sacrificial like that, we still might find something to help us deal with the bomb in these rooms so stay positive...for my sake at least," she half-scolded him.

Doctor are you referring to taking a numerical advantage or being hanged?

Leo is incredulous. His eyebrows are raised and he has to push his glasses back onto his nose.

My point is, you make it sound like it is the latter!

Nobody has to pick it up either. In fact, we haven't had the chance to go back into rooms yet anyway. So if you guys leave it completely alone, we won't have to worry about it.

"Oh no, I didn't mean to make it sound that dramatic." He waved his hand. "I apologize, speach is not one of my strong points. I meant that I would put a target on my back, but I'm sure as hell not going to pull the trigger... Now letting no one have it is an idea I like. I would like to live through this." He smiled at Seven.

Seven almost hopped at Leo's bright idea.

"You are a genius my friend! That's exactly what we'll do. So far as I know it's impossible to pick up an item in secret so we'll automatically know if anyone tries to go for it." she said brightly before pausing in thought.

"Of course, we still have to gamble though..."

Triton leaned against the nearest wall and lowered her eyes as she gathered her thoughts in this time of relative calm.

Sergei the billionaire diamond mine owner, his wife "Luna", and his butler "Doctor" were all here in this strange building. Luna and Doctor were supposedly brought here against their will. Was Sergei? If so, wouldn't it have made more sense if he were locked in a closet like everyone else? Was Sergei Zero? ...No, the Narrator clearly said Zero was one of the players. So why was he here? Was it possible Sergei was working with Zero? That seemed plausible. Furthermore, it seemed very likely that someone other than Zero killed him. Whether he was here by choice or brought here by Zero, it made very little sense for Zero to set up this "game" and then kill someone "off-screen," as it were. So the murderer was almost certainly not Zero. It also follows that the murderer was someone who knew Sergei. For what reason was Sergei killed? Figuring that out would go a long way in uncovering the murderer.

...wait. There was the stage costume to consider. Whoever killed Sergei almost certainly did so while wearing Saturn's shirt. It was the most reasonable explanation as to why only Saturn's shirt had been changed. The costume was a one-of-a-kind design made by one of Saturn's friends. The chances of someone other than Zero, or someone working with Zero, bringing it here were slim to none. Yet the killer chose that specific costume shirt to dress Saturn in (unless, of course, Saturn himself was the killer.) Was the killer someone who was working with Zero but had a falling out in regards to Sergei?

"I know things that Zero doesn't, though. Story-related clues have been placed in the area by me, and I'm the only one that knows the solution to the escape door.

"Let me clarify something about the escape door actually. Even though there is a solution to it, theres more than one possible team combination that can open it. Thought that might be self-explanatory but there ya go!"

Hearing the Narrator talk reminded Seven of something.

"Oh right...you said the final door would be a bit of a mystery and that one person could suggest a potential combination to open it per turn right?" she said, more for her own memory's benefit than anyone else. "I guess we've not been taking advantage of that much huh?" she sighed.

"Did something happened that made your brother, Eric decides to quit the police force?" Yon asked Pigeon, curious about this.

"Hey Mr Narrator, is it possible for someone to take an item in secret? I don't mean like stealing, that's already been established, but like if there's a declared item in the room is it possible to secretly get it?" she asked with a hint of nervousness in her voice before turning to the others.

"Y'see I've been thinking, I managed to take the knife secretly before but the knife was never a [declared item] in the room. It was presented as just a part of the scenery so to speak so I wasn't even sure if I COULD take it when I asked the Narrator or if that ran by different rules to the other observable points in the room." she ran a hand through her hair "You see, if it's possible to secretly take an item...and none of us have a way of checking each other's BP...I'd rather not go through door number 9 at all." she stated gesturing to the potential partners she had.

"See if any of them decided to try an take it secretly, there'd not really be a way to confirm which of us took it. I'd rather not another black stain on my name as at this point it'd probably be pretty easy to frame me for taking it."

She flipped open her notepad. "I'm going to try and go through some other numbers in time, but I'm prioritising exploring everything over Pigeon's predictions at this point. I hope you'll understand...if anyone else has other suggestions I'm also open to it." she said flipping her pencil out with a flourish and settling down to work.

@BP Sorry, a question was already asked this phase!

@Pierre Items can be taken secretly but anybody can still ask "is the item still in the room?"

Also, PC will be an hour earlier today. Doubt anyone minds but if that doesn't work, I can make it later than usual

Seven sighed, it was as she had feared. If things continued then there was no guarantee she wouldn't end up suspected again.

"Well thank you for that answer, I'd best get to work." she said putting her head back down and continuing to scribble away.

(Can we get the current doors for the phase and the 'prizes' behind them put in the OP? It's a hassle digging back through pages to find out the original post for the current doors.)

Seven's head snapped up for a moment "Huh? Questions? No I didn't ask any, I assumed it had to be public, it's why I thought we'd all been forgetting." she paused for a moment thinking about the matter "We probably should have an agreement to get all of those kinds of questions public in future? Everyone has a fair chance that way. Perhaps we could nominate a spokesperson and discuss what question to ask in future..." she mused before snapping back to her numbers.

"GOT ONE!" Seven cried triumphantly raising her pencil in the air.

"This plan ensures I don't go through door number 9."

Option D:
7+4+9 = 2
5+3+1 = 9
8+2+6 = 7

She sighed and set the pencil aside. "I suppose I didn't really think about Oliver's predictions but I really wouldn't be comfortable being scapegoated if someone tries to take the BP privately." she said

"Also I'm sorry Triton, it's nice an all but can you ask publicly in future?" she said politely as she stood up. "I mean for all we know the Narrator could have said 21 was a fine combination but you could be trying to lead us away from the truth by assuring us you've answered. You are the only one who knows what they told you after all." she added the last part apologetically.

"Right then, I vote Option D. Though at this point I'm not sure it's especially appealing to people but I did what I could just...don't blame me if the BP goes missing...please" she sighed slumping back to the ground visibly exhausted.
