So, if I want to hear Luka sing Romeo and Cinderella, I can? (Without going to my computer and just clicking the MP3 of it that I have?) Sweet! Too bad Gakupo is not an official one...

Also, I hate Team Destiny from Namco. I don't know what their idea is, but every game created by Team Destiny in the Tales franchise I have played has obnoxious, unnecessarily-convoluted and complicated final areas prior to the final boss. Why? What's so wrong with making it like Team Symphonia? Welgaia and Vinheim were not unnecessarily dark, did not have pointlessly disappearing paths that hinder my proceeding AND they still looked freaking awesome! Or even Eldrant in Abyss, it's gorgeous and it has one of the best pre-Final Boss battles in it. Why can't you do that, Team Destiny? Why... Why does it have to be Canaan!?

That's one of the available options, yes; there's a Rin version too just for the record

Yeah, whatever. :ron: I prefer Luka, cause her voice isn't that high. Besides, I was wondering if it allowed ANY vocaloid to sing the song, even if I have to unlock it.

Miku, Rin, and Luka are the only choices for that particular song

IIRC about a third of the songs give the option to change the lead singer and it's usually between two to four choices; there is one song that lets you pick from all six of the "main" Vocaloids though

Hah, I was recording for my Nameless LP and continue on Lance's route... I seem to have made a mistake somewhere, cause I got the chapter "Ice Princess?" and both of the options in that scene end up in a Game Over. And I don't have a back-up-back-up save to go back to. I'll need to redo the entire route up to that point... I should have kept a third save, just in case. :ron:

I was playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution and then raged and stopped.
It autosaved after I got out of the police station. Everything was fine before then, but out of nowhere the cops shot me to death. I thought "Wow, that was random." I clicked "Load latest autosave" (or whatever it actually says) and it starts me at the point where I exit the police station.
So it's just...

I've never played that game, so I have no idea if it's even possible to save manually, but if it is possible, loading from the most recent manual save seems like your best bet.

I got past the mistake I made in Lance's route and actually got him... to turn into a shade of the bastard boyfriend. Worst was the penultimate scene with him, where he's in my room and yes, it heavily implies that he and Eri are about to get intimate. Guys... that was not a nice scene. It's not rapey or anything, but it felt really, really off for me... I'm close to crying... Ew... :sadshoe:

I ended up being able to load from a previous save point. It'll give you two options.
- Load latest autosave
- Load previous autosave

When I clicked 'load previous autosave' it took me back to the morgue so I was able to walk out of the police station without getting shot at. :edgey:

Finished Sakura Wars 4: Maidens, Fall In Love (DreamCast). On one hand, it's a horribly rushed game. It was developed in 10 months or so, because the DreamCast had been cancelled the year before and the team wanted to give a proper closure to the popular SRPG/'dating sim' hybrid series. Previous SW had a development cycle of two years. SW4 is incredibly short compared to the previous games (one disc, compared to the two, three discs of previous games), many of the series characteristics are absent (no combination attacks, no Kobu upgrades halfway through the story, no mini-games, no episode previews, very few animated sequences, hardly time to build character relations) and many assets are reused from Sakura Wars 3 (released one year earlier).

Yet I can't say I really disike the game. This game doesn't follow the usual 10+ episode anime series structure, but instead opts for a 'final movie'-esque structure, providing a very worthy end to the story of Ogami, the Imperial Assault Troop and the Paris Assault Troop in their battle against evil powers. That does mean the story only has three (!) battle segments, but storywise, I think SW4 is a pretty satisfying end to the Ogami storyline. And while the game has very few animated sequences (by Production I.G), the in-game engine powered scenes are pretty well directed and are a huge improvement over those of SW3 (which weren't bad either; it's just that they made a lot of improvement in that one year!). Overall, Sakura Wars 4 is a game that is lacking in a lot of fields, but for fans of the series, SW4 should provide a fairly satisfying end to an entertaining series, given the way they had to make the game.

Pokemon ORAS, I got my long lost Celebi back. I got it in 2011 while HGSS were out and I trade it to my freind for a shiny Luxray, a few weeks after that I sold all my games Big misteak. I asked my freind if he still had it and he said he might have deleted it but, luckily after getting back into Pokemon,I found it in my freinds copy of Pokemon Platinum and transferred it to my copy of ORAS!

Xillia 2, still post-game. I am much 'further' in my Japanese version than the English version of the game. I have defeated all 18 bosses in the bonus dungeon, not counting Cless and Stahn on Level 3. AND I created my FIRST Unsealed Weapon! Yep, Jude is now proud wearer of Unsealed Hearts. (Cause, apparently, the second weapons are better to carry over, than the first ones)

Wait, do I see that right on the PSN? Tales of Zestiria has SKITS as DLC?!

Yes I thought Tales of Zestiria having skits as DLC was strange too.

Also Cat I know you love complaining about Tales but my friend just got me Zestiria so I'm just asking you politely to be careful about spoilers in any future rants you might have.

Right now, I'm the only here who can make spoilerrific rants about Zestiria. :P
Not that there's much spoilerrific things to rant about. Most of what I want to rant about isn't spoilerrific, but I'll reserve that for later.
And quick tip: dont't get any of the DLC. None of it is worth it.

I'm not even playing the game, so no worries there. I might play it down the line, maybe, but for now, I'm still working on unsealing the Sealed Weapons in Xillia 2 (OH GOD, IT'S SO BORING AND GRINDY!) and the rest of the titles in Xillia (Jude's Route. I just got Leia into my party which made my party 100% more awesome). I don't know anything about the game. Except Sorey and Mikleo supposedly being the official couple of the game and having a ton of sub/supertext in the game.

I was curious and looked it at the DLC on the Japanese PSN - see if there were likely things that were Japanese version exclusive. I did see the Idolm@ster One For All DLC outfits, which look like the only thing I'd be interested in getting. If I were to play the game, that is. (Still wish those outfits would be available in Xillia 2, but... that game was released 2012 and One For All 2015, so...)

I own it, and subsequently dropped it cause I thought it was awful and didn't want to waste time with it any further since my waifu isn't even in the game anymore. Will most likely not even touch Berseria when it comes out now cause of how bad Zesty was.

So far I feel the same problem I had with the other Tales games I've tried. The blend of action/RPG doesn't work for me. The mechanics aren't smooth enough on the action side and the action is too prevalent that I can't feel any strategy or meaning behind my different attacks.

Like each attack could simply list "does damage" for all the difference they feel right now.

Still I'm only early on perhaps it will improve.
