"You guys should be ready for a corpse next round if dats da case." He said before turning his attention to the doors "Well we're not gonna have any 0 accountability rooms this time. So we should form up teams den vote on who gets the surveillance device but uh..."

He smiled sheepishly "Ah'd prefer the eye room over the trap room t'be honest."

Marley turned to Turbo "Aye we saw you were strugglin' with yer puzzle and tried to bust the door down with the weights to help ye out."

"Well thankfully, I don't have a choice. I don't think there's a single combination where I go through the trap door. Cube on the other hand, I think pretty much has to go through trap door."

Chanel lists off the three combinations she found:

Option 1: Trap: 1/2/4/6 Eye: 3/5/7

Option 2: Trap: 3/4/6 Eye: 1/2/5/7

Option 3: Trap: 2/3/6/7 Eye: 1/4/5

Marley burst out laughing at the suggestion followed by a shocked surprise once Turbo agreed to strip "Well, guess we's having a party after all." he joked grinning widely as he lit a fresh cigarette. "Still I'll VOTE 3 fer now." he said looking over his shoulder towards Trinity

"Ye raise a good point there Trin. Can't see it playing out like that. Unless there's a garage in each timeline." he muttered "Either we'll gain control of the elevator at some point or it'll send us back there. Already got the Elec key so we jus' need two more. Car looked plenty big enough fer all of us so...I can't see any reason why we wouldn't all be able to leave." he said cautiously with a glance at the ceiling "Though mebbe Zero 'as other plans for that."

"Guess it makes sense folks wouldn't fancy the trap room...but maybe...if things are going to get that fearsome...we should take the protection token aye?" he suggested quietly spinning his cigarette in his fingers.

"Ah mean...we already know the admins will stoop to puzzles that force people to die...and Turbo already is down a life from getting one wrong. Could be a fair bet to pass it over to team Trap if we're going this way." he suggested.

If things are right f***ed up in dere we'll have a little insurance against Zero's traps." he said flicking his cigarette away. "Though ah do wonder about tha surveillance team. Ah'm thinking ah might like to gie it to tha eye team. We're all kinda expecting this trap room to be f**king s***e so if somethin' happened ye'd be able ta know." he hesitated to light a fresh cigarette "Den again, thar's less folks on the Eye team dat way so maybe Trap team should take it for greater accountability." he said before lighting his cigarette and pondering it.

Marley's eyes widened suddenly as he puffed enthusiastically at a sudden thought. "So....Zero...are the rooms the same in each 'timeline'. I mean...we don't want to end in a timeline without a garage right? So there must be a garage in each timeline?"

Marley laughed loud "Well don't f**kin' matter I know the answer. Remember Oran Utan? A bottle from the bar existed in more than one reality. Dat means the bar exists in more than one reality! So maybe...we can...all get out of here..." Marley discarded his cigarette in rapid fashion then immediately replaced it, smoking like a madman.

"So 'eres my thinking. Multiple garages...multiple cars. We might only escape in groups of 3 but if we jump to another timeline and then different people leave...some of us will escape at a time." He paused to cough viciously before catching his breath and continuing.

"Ah mean...it means there will be two realities where you don't escape and are stuck here to die...but since our consciousness and memories seem to stay the same between dese realities...we can jus' go to the reality where we escaped. Only ting is, we wouldn't be able to see those who we didn't escape with in each of our realities but depending on yer opinions that might not be such a bad thing aye?" He said chuckling mirthfully to himself.

He shrugged "Plus ah can't think of a reason why you'd lose police badge...was it special in some way ah mean..." "Well I'll try. Let's see, I'm not exactly sure what happened either, but for some reason the gang in the rope room knew what was going on with you and Cube, even though they used the listening device on us. Iota, Fauna and I had a fairly normal round. We found some desks which seemed to correspond with the nine players, with unique items at each one, like your desk had a tennis ball container and a catapult. Iota found an uplink device that let him talk to Marley."

"Also we found a textbook on Marley's desk about morphogenetic field theory which is essentially the idea that there's an invisible plane of information that spans across time, and humans can tap into it when they're put in stressful situations, making use of that knowledge from the morphogenetic field. It sort of explains how Marley's timeline theory could be true."

"Also, the rumor that you're a Caulderwood comes from some anonymous whisper that Tetra heard in her room. And that's not all. It seems Trinity and Tetra lost their items in there as well."

Chanel stops before adding, "Oh yeah, and I guess Tetra is Jen now. That's pretty much all I know. I still don't get how Cube was saved and all that."

Marley nodded in agreement with Maribelle "Ayes she's got it most right. Initially we didn' know the door we were trying ta open went to yer room. We just wanted to get in and explore so we started thinking of ways to open it. Den tha' admin taunted us by telling us ye were struggling with a puzzle and me an Jen started tryin' to bust in using the weights but it took a while an....well...you know what happened." He shuffled uncomfortably before giving Turbo an apologetic look "Though honestly ah don't think Trin and Jen lost their items in that room. Wus only here they noticed stuff was missing. That's the gist of it, anything else ye need to know?"

Marley leaned forward resting his hands on his knees.
"Actually...no having the listening device and tha protection coin could be bloody brutal...ah guess...whatever the guys in the eye room do. Please don't kill us." He said sombrely uttering a dejected sigh of smoke.

"Ah've been thinkin'...if mah theory about the admins is right. The next one up should be a shadow version of Mari and Mari is a scientist." He paused to take a smoke "An what do scientists do?" He extended an arm to the door with the picture of the man facing trials "They run experiments..." He extended his other arm to the door with the eye "And they observe." He added grimly. "So please...don't kill us...ah jus' got done thinkin of a way to get us all out of here. Shouldn't need to be anymore killin' if we can' help it."

Before anyone has the chance to answer, the two doors open and the restraints are released. The players get up and split into the two agreed-upon groups, though not without some reluctance from the 'trap' group, and then head through their doors.

All seven of the surviving players walk back through the doors. However, the air is full of uneasy tension. All are aware that at least one person in the Security Room tried to kill the players in the Vault by locking them in. In other words, there is a traitor among them. However, for now no-one seems willing to get violent over it.

The players return to their seats, where the restraints spring up, preventing anyone from trying anything just yet. The small monitors on the right arms of each chair light up, ready to receive votes for the next Lynching Phase.
