I saw '300' last night, never expected it to be this bloody brilliant. I first thought it was equivalent to Troy, you know - ancient leaders and their legendary battles, heavy metal uniforms and all this stuff that I can't be clear exactly what this is. Guess I need to start learning History all over again. Dr. Grey

Epic Movie.
Worst. Movie. Ever.
It's main joke seemed to be 'Look it's that guy of that movie! LAWL!'. The funniest part was when I accidently stepped in my bucket of popcorn. It was that bad. Nick

The last movie my husband and I saw at the theatre was "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest." I guess we need to get out more. ;D

I saw 300 last week (and it was AWESOME), but before that I saw Hannibal Rising, which was...kind of odd. Gasparde was totally hot but the whole thing came off as creating an excuse for why Hannibal eats people rather than a reason. Disappointing.

And at some point I saw Pan's Labyrinth which was fantastic.

I saw 300 last night. It was really awesome. Though I almost fell asleep when there wasn't any action (it was late). But I loved the battles n' all. I'm an action fan.

Before that I saw Pan's Labyrinth which I really, really loved. I thought it was so well done. And everything was so creepy and original. I freakin' loved the Faun. He was so cool. D: Plus he's playing Silver Surfer in FF2. >D

Kickass movie, but I have to pay fo- oh wait.

I SAW WILD HOGS. It was good mainly because my dad paid for it instead of me. xD Cute movie, really. Great cast, too.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Superman Returns. Pretty good, i guess, with good action parts and such. Wasn't too crazy about the semi-half-assed story.

I don't quite remember what I saw before that. It may have been Zathura with some friends, since there was nothing else and we were already at the theater.

My local cult/independant/foreign film cinema, The Loft, was showing Jungle Fever.

It left me with a bit of an odd feeling. As if there was a rock in my head, making me think really hard. There was a bunch of people being racist back and forth, and two people in the center experiencing this, and it felt like there should have been some theme or moral... but at the end, there was nothing.

It felt like there was some point it was trying to make, and it didn't come across well at all. Something that happens in most of Spike Lee's films (most of which suck, too). Still, the most interesting part of the movie was Samuel L. Jackson as the druggee-brother. Although, for some reason, after the Reverend/his dad shot him, the whole movie seemed to brighten up. Eh?

The last movie I saw in theaters was Corpse Bride. I didn't go to the movies at all in 2006, and I havn't been to the theaters this year yet either. I've been spending too much time watching movies from the Blockbuster online rental program. There are a couple of movies I really want to see this year though.

Saw Paprika today. It's about 20x better than anything else mentioned so far. Even 300. I kind of wish it were playing regularly and not as part of a film festival, cause I want to see it again already.

May I make a confession, and say that the last film I saw in a theatre was Happy Feet? Given my location on the planet, I saw the film early this year (I think it was in January).

Of course, petty things like release dates (or awards) don't change whether I like the film or not. And I found it to be a lot of fun. Now all I need is the soundtrack... and maybe tap-dancing lessons so that I stop doing bad imitations of Mumble's dances.

...I hardly ever go to the movie theatre.
Thank you for flying Phoenix Wright. We hope you have a nice day.

There was no real rape action.

But yeah, 300 was the last movie I saw in the theatre, and it rocked.

'Reign over Me", since TMNT was sold out. I begged my friends to go see it with me instead of "Wild Hogs". Anyway...

Spoiler:
Featuring a lovely Easter egg of Shadow of the Colossus. And it even relates to the plot!

No way. Reign Over Me had massive flaws that really make it nothing more than a passing drama 'till something better comes along to shove it aside. The film was only at its best when nothing plot related was going on and the two dudes were just hanging out.

No offense but "What's to expect?". It's Adam Sandler (Whose had little to some experiance in dramas.) And newcommer actors and actresses that didn't star too far back.. Sure, there were some elements that didn't quite work out here and there... But every movie has its flaws. And it did pretty good in my book for a movie without the hype of common celeberties and whatnot.

A shame you didn't like it though. Sadshoe

Adam Sandler's no newbie to dramas. Godot And quite frankly, he wasn't the problem. I thought the acting was convincing and rather nice, it was just that I thought the movie wasn't handled well at all.

And sure, every movie has it's flaws. But some movies has more flaws than others.

Just saw TMNT yesterday and it was pretty good, about what i expected it to be. As for the whole Live action vs animated argument... While I enjoyed the L.A. TMNT movies, I prefered the old cartoon that was big when i was growing up about 10 to 12 years ago.(can't remember exactly when it aired.) And I'm excited that this won't be the only one, as they hinted twoards the end.
