Sorry if someone else already done this - I used ''search'' option with no success.

Lately, I was browsing Rom Rips and Captures section on CR in search of specific sprites from that moment in "Rise from the Ashes" when you have to put broken jar pieces together. Unfortunately, I couldn't find them :edgeworth: - maybe I searched wrong...

So therefore, I've decided to rip them by myself.

Here are results:

As a bonus, it contains also the ''Spray'' button for luminol testing.

No credit needed. Feel free to use in your fangames, comics et caetera (if the original owners - CAPCOM - don't mind :godot:).

Spoiler: Some unsorted stuff:
Beta poses for some security guard guy:

After years of neglect and slacking off, I deicided to re-animate this thread. Please come and visit it regularly, because I will keep it updated. You'll find here some sprites, GUI elements and other goods :will:.

A character from an upcoming project, maybe? More poses will come in soon:

I still struggle with coming up with a decent surname for him. Any suggestions will be appreciated, but I cannot guarantee I will use any of them.

Darth! Long time no see!

Great to see you back! I love how detailed that new character is! I suck with names as well, but all I get is "Grump" or a play on "Roshi" (because he reminds me of Master Roshi XD)

Thanks for your feedback! I suck at coming up with names, so any kind help would be appreciated!
Another character:

Image

An excentric, self-proclaimed entomologist, who might have spent too much time in the woods, studying and chasing rare specimens. I haven't deicided on his first name yet, but his surname will be Wilde.

No animations for him for now for two reasons: His net will have a transparency effect in-game, much like Dahlia's shawl, which doesn't look well in *.gif format. Heck, it doesn't look well on plain dark background too, so here's an example:

Image

Moreover, to save myself trouble of making complicated overly-long sheets, I actually plan to utilize foregrounds in PyWright for many of his poses (are you ready for bugs? :ack:). However, I may later prepare one or two animations for a demonstration.

That sprite looks super clean!!
As for that transparency thing, sticking him to the foreground can work but might be tedious.
You could try crosshatching the pixels for the net with transparent pixels?
Like this (maybe a little cleaner around the metal ring but XD It would work decently with a background behind it):

Thanks for your suggestion! Sticking him to a background all the time actually isn't necessary, as PyWright can work with transparent *.png sheets.; the second screen was for a demonstration of his expected in-game look. But your edit is so neat and ingenious I just can't resist the temptation to use it!

As for the foregrounds, I was planning to use them for something different. You'll see what I mean when I finish it. :sillytrucy:

This is good to note! (and opens up some options for me if I ever need to show something translucent). I'm so used to gifs haha

Haha, jackpot :hobolaugh:! His design was in fact my main inspiration for Wilde's look. I also used, among other things, Valant's forearms and Acro's chest. As for the gramps (name's still pending) I based his sprite on characters from Dragon Ball and Hajime no Ippo.

I may prepare soon a new version of Wilde's sprite (I want, e.g. to make his net rod wooden and implement SuperAJ's transparency effect) and I'll probably make some serious edits to his hair and beard, so his face wouldn't look like an obvious headswap. Without going into plot details, I can only say that he's more than meets the eye...

I've made some edits to Wilde's hair and beard, so he doesn't look anymore like a straight-off copy of Bosche, while one can still tell where my did inspiration come from:

His actual in-game look will probably contain some further improvements.

Hey. Been a while since I've been active here, or anywhere else, for that matter. But I'm not coming here empty-handed : P

Spoiler:

Meet Lillian; she's lively and enthusiastic, but a bit cloudcuckoolandish at the same time. Lives in her own world. Talkative, she can talk you to death when it comes to crystals, feng shui, ley lines and other psychotronic or spiritual stuff.

Remember what I've mentioned about a possible upcoming project of mine a few posts back? It's still in the works, with Wilde and Edmund (I still struggle to find a decent surname for him :grey: ) starring in it. I won't make a thread on it until I have something more substantial to show-off, but rest assured that it's still happening.

An another character for the case I'm working on.

Image

The unstoppable force. The young and the ambitious. Imagine a police officer with Mike Meeekins' level of incompetence and overzealousness but without a hint of his humility. A simple constable who serves his duty at a police station in a remote area, but dreams of becoming a big shot in the City. Maybe a homicide detective or a SWAT team member?

So, he does his best to prove his value and solve the case on his own, tracking both real and made-up crimes and conspiracies. He's known for wearing a tactical vest over his full uniform real and considers everyone suspicious.

Temporary name: Cooper Lawson
His names come from "cop" and "law", but also from Dale Cooper, and eccentric FBI agent who investigates mysterious occurrences in a small fictional town Twin Peaks.
